My appointment was made quickly. The technician was on time and friendly. The price was reasonable. They will be my first call from now on.

I contacted Buckeye Plumbing to check on a potential issue with my septic system. I received a proposal for the following work: "Excavate 2nd septic tank outlet, Camera & Troubleshoot issue, Quote further work if necessary" They were here for about 20 minutes, only to quickly say, "We are doing nothing, you need to contact the county, that'll be $1000" 20 minutes for $1000 bucks with no troubleshooting and no solutions. What a scam. There was no compromise from them on the price, and literally no recommendations or solutions. The "technician" was also rude. At one point he laughed at my plunge pool, and suggested off the record I can try dumping lye in the system. After researching this, i found this could potentially destroy your system (I figure this is why it was stated "off the record") This should not have cost $1000. I thought Buckeye Plumbing was an honest company, but I was wrong and paid the price for it. On top of everything, it took nearly 2 weeks of follow up calls to them to give me an appointment. That should have been a sign this company does not care. I feel we were severely taken advantage of, and the transaction was of zero value. I will never use them again, and if you use them, I hope you don't get swindled like I was. read more

I recommend Buckeye Plumbing. They solved a plumbing problem no one else could. They do not have rock bottom prices, however, you could employ highly trained staff if you did. The owner is steadfast on ensuring excellent customer satisfaction. I highly recommend Buckeye Plumbing. They trenched and replaced our downspouts, installed a water softener and much more. if you are looking for quality service but dont care what it cost you might consider Buckeye Plumbing. It is a bit difficult to determine how much is for labor and how much is for materials , but consider, to replace the shut-off valve, supply line, and fluidemaster valve assembly was a cool $380.69. The materials at Hartville Hardware are approximately $35 - 40 retail. The labor took less than 30 minute. That is $340. for 1/2 hr, which amounts to $680/ hr labor. This is being generous in the time it actually took and Buckeyes material cost. They invoiced labor and materials together: fill valve replacement, $173.72; shut-off valve replacement, $206.97. And to replace 2 outside frost free faucets: $691.16. I stopped by and talked with Cody about the cost. All was cordial and respectful. He said that they are in the mid price range and that they bill per flat rate hr. And he noted that they work toward $250/ hr that the truck is at your house (that is with 2 employee: that's $125 each. The actual time at my house was just over 2.5 hrs. Let's be very generous and say they were here 3 hrs. That would be $750. A high price retail for the materials on this job would have been $325-350. Add it up $1100. Add a service call fee, $85. I was billed $1459.73. If you are cool with the cost I recommend these guys. They do very good work effeciently. They are quite courteous. You will decide if that is worth around $350/hr for the time their truck is in your driveway. Gary S. read more

Buckeye Plumbing has been our Hartville plumber for nearly two years. We love them! In Dec 2022, they replaced the leaking water line from the well head before we moved in. This was quite the job with the well head being under our front deck. But, they figured it out and got the job done right. The previous owners hired Buckeye Plumbing for this, so we didn't have interaction with them. But, we've had no issues with the water line since. In July 2023, our well water was dirty and our pressure tank switch was turning off/on way more than normal. We discovered this the day before leaving for vacation. We called Buckeye Plumbing and Kody spent some time with us on the phone explaining what could be going on. He also remembered our home from the time they serviced the water line - that connection meant a lot. Suffice it to say, our trust was established. They came back out the day after we got back and replaced the 30-year old well pump, pressure tank, and check valve. The price for all this work was reasonable and we were relieved to have clean, working water. We've had no issues with the well since then! Our upstairs pipes froze and burst in January 2024. We hired Buckeye Plumbing to cap off the risers so we could use water downstairs and to repipe our upstairs with PEX while the walls and ceiling were open. We've had no leaks and seems this work was done perfectly. Before the work was done, Kody came out to discuss the repipe plans. We've had Buckeye Plumbing back out to investigate and repair a gas leak in our basement, replace our kitchen sink drain system, rebuild part of our main drain stack, and replace an s-trap with p-trap in our bathroom. We trust Buckeye Plumbing with all our plumbing and well repair needs. They're responsive to phone calls, kind and courteous, and walk us through options so we get the best possible work. I highly recommend giving them a call! read more

Two service calls by Alex. This is condescending young man will track dirt through your home while rudely remarking on your fixture of choice should he find it wanting. If I could, I would leave negative stars. The second time he was over, he was training someone to act just like him. Waste of time. Terrible customer service. I do not recommend. read more

I had a list of plumbing projects to do, including dealing with low water pressure in the upstairs restroom. Alex came out and handled everything like a boss. We had a larger job with the basement sink next to the washer and dryer that the former owner had the piping jerry-rigged as cheap as possible, and Alex came out the next week and replaced it all, priced very reasonably. Hopefully, I won't need to call a plumber again but if I do, I'd call Buckeye Plumbing again. read more

I hired Buckeye plumbing to install a kitchen sink and faucet set I bought from Costco (whose quality of products I find to be excellent) for my 83 year old mother in her home in Akron. Because of poor communication on their part, I thought I would let others know their policies (1) they charge a $75 fee for coming out, and if you accept their bid to do the work, it is not credited to the job. Based on this lack of information up front, they agreed to refund us $37.50 of that "show up" fee. (2) Although when my 4'10" 95 lb mother found a week later that when she turned on the hot water it leaked - she made the normal assumption that it was a problem from the previous week installation. However, Buckeye plumbing insists on charging $75 to come back out regardless of what the origin of the problem is. (3) Even though they agreed to do the installation - which in our case they charged $350 for installing the sink/faucet we supplied- they only guarantee the complete job if you buy the materials from them. Hence they assume that anything that goes wrong is the materials and not their plumbing work unless you can prove to them otherwise. In summary, they answer the phone promptly, they show up when they say they will, and the owner called me back to explain all of the above -after the fact. I gave a 2 star rating because they should explain everything up front, I think over $450 in the end to install a sink/faucet is too expensive, and they charge extra for basic customer service. read more

Professional. Knowledgable. Oh, and guys with a killer sense of humor. My mom needed 2 sink fixtures reviewed/fixed, and they came out to the house in less than an hour. Not only did they provide cost-efficient options, they gave us alternatives for long-term solutions. I totally recommend them - especially Derrick & Kody! read more

Had some issues with an old dishwasher and was not sure if it was plumbing related or if it was just the age of the dishwasher. Buckeye plumbing sent Patrick out within hours of opening on a Monday morning. He thoroughly checked the plumbing around the dishwasher and determined it was not plumbing related. He was very kind. Although there was not a plumbing issue, I still had to pay a service call. I understood, because it is the cost of doing business. Patrick was apologetic bc he was at house for 5 minutes, but he still has to follow protocol as an employee of company. Again, I completely understood as I would want my employees doing the same thing. Ten minutes after Patrick had left, I got a call saying they were voiding the service call charge. As a homeowner who uses plumbing services quite a bit, I will definitely be calling them again. Service was great on front and back end!! read more

I will remain a devoted customer to Buckeye Plumbing. (a few years ago) They had facilitated a replacement well, which is never a good thing. They were able to work with me and do some sort of financing. Very pleased with the service we received. read more

We lost water in our house Friday evening. They showed up at 9:00 AM Saturday. Replaced well pressure switch and water logged pressure tank. After testing system, they found the well pump had burned up. It was 20 degrees outside and they were not too excited about replacing the well pump on a Saturday in the cold. They had it done in less than 2 hours. Very professional, capable, courteous, friendly. These guys are the best!!! Highly recommend!!! read more
