Bacon egg and cheese
Kurt D.

Everyone was super friendly and it was quiet and cozy. I got there when it opened and spoke with the owner, Kim, and she gave me some history on the place. I got a bacon egg and cheese but they are known for their cuban sandwiches. Highly recommend coming for lunch!

Pan Con Lechon and a dark and stormy.

Stopped in for a bite to eat, and the food was pretty good. Not the best Cuban, but definitely worth a try. It is an order at the counter and they bring it to you type of place. Ordered a Pan Con Lecheon, and a dark and stormy. Both were tasty. Service was quick and efficient. There aren't any sides to order, so really all you get is a sandwich. No beans, plantains, or other kinds of sides to go with your sandwich. Worth a stop if you want a decent Cuban sandwich.

Delicious! Center of downtown, walk-up to outdoor counter to order, sit inside or out. Would return!

Delicious food, the avocado salad has a delicious sauce, mixes well with $5 rice and beans. Yummy! Great background music too. Enjoyed it!

A stop you must take when you go through Leadville. Amazing breakfast and lunch sandwiches to take on the go or eat on their large patio. Who would have thought you could find authentic Cuban food in the middle of the Rocky Mountains! Great food, great service!!

So tasty - so fast - so easy. A little bit pricey for bread and meat, but I'd still recommend. Outdoor seating is divine!

Although it was a quick lunch I noticed that customers love this place. Non stop walk in traffic. The Pan Con Leche that we shared was delicious and hit the spot! It may look thin but it's got heft! Outside and inside seating available!

I loved the vibes of this place. The outdoor seating is really cute and lots of places to sit. The staff was nice. I got the Breakfast Sandwiches - the egg sandwich. It was warm and the panini bread was delicious. However the egg seemed unseasoned and really just lacked flavor. Not super impressed by the filling.

Iced cafe con leche and la bodega sandwich

The service here was really good and the food was as stated on the menu. I enjoyed my sandwich, but was not aware of how strong the coffee drinks would be. It was decently priced for Leadville. If you are a coffee lover and enjoy paninis it's a place to consider.

Oh my gosh, I had the most incredible Cuban sandwich experience! I ordered the Aye Cono, and my girlfriend got the Cuban mix. Let me tell you, both sandwiches were absolutely phenomenal! And you absolutely cannot miss out on the iced coffee it's as bold and strong as Vietnamese iced coffee! You've got to try this place!

Yep I get it. If you're coming through Leadville and need some sandos for a hike, get the Cuban mix sandwich. If you need breakfast on your way to ski, I don't care if it's 7 am, get the Cuban mix sandwich. If it's 2:30 PM and you're not hungry and they are about to close, I don't care get the Cuban mix sandwich. It's a damn good Cuban sandwich and you will NOT be disappointed.

Food is amazing, we are obsessed. We go as any excuse to come from Denver!!! Great service and awesome seating, inside is cozy and outside is super fun. The owners are amazing and even remember us from when they use to be located in Denver. I crave the Aye conyo all the time. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu!!!!

Delicious! We had cuban sandwiches, empanadas and coffee and desert after a trip to Aspen. Best food we ate during our vacation.

The crusts were so good and the dressing on the salad was so fresh and zingy! And the cake.... I wish I would've bought an entire one to take home. They have a case of fresh desserts with too many options to count and everything looked amazing! The service was quick and straightforward. It was really a nice ambiance - perfect and intimate for a nice meal out while also feeling down to earth like a small mom/pop cafe. We enjoyed everything we had. Starting with their delicious Wild Mushroom Soup, then a very fresh and tasty Garden Salad, next we split a Chicken Pot Pie and the Stuffed Pork Chop entrees! That stuffed pork chop had a wonderful mushroom risotto accompanying it and was stuffed with a delicious gruyere cheese and a nicely done asparagus. So good! I strongly recommend this wonderful establishment!

My favorite was probably the empanada. The crust was perfectly baked and the filling was flavorful and moist. The lechon asado was a second favorite. After I arrived to pick them up 40 mins after placing them, they couldn't find them but coincidentally the orders "just popped up on their system" after they looked for them. They asked me to wait since they needed to start cooking them! No apologies, didn't offer to make it better, not even offered to take a sit or a glass of water, nothing. They must've thought I was an Uber driver, well I was the PATRON. They need to train their hostess on better etiquette and not to make assumptions. Even if I was a delivery driver, I deserved to be treated better. Complete disregard for one's time and utter lack of courtesy. Thank you but no thank you, I'm not going to wait 1 hr and a half to pick up an order. After being 30 mins on the chat with Uber Eats, they finally agreed to cancel them penalty free. Complete waste of time and gas.

Every recommendation came with passion, personal testimony, and what I'm pretty sure was a sworn oath that our lives were about to change. "Trust me." "No -- TRUST me." "You're gonna thank me later." Reader, I did thank him later. Every dish he pointed at was absolute fire. Not a single miss. The food is close to authentic Cuban. I love the plantain chips and dip and I always get the picadillo. This was our first time getting the flan and my goodness it was delicious. As a Florida native, I don't order too much Latin food out here. It's not necessarily something I crave anymore. Admittedly, it's tougher to find legit Latin flavors. Well, I was thoroughly impressed with what I tried here! Roasted Pork "Lechon" ($18) // slow roasted berkshire pork shoulder, garlic mojo, pickled onion. This was the most filling bowl of food I've consumed in recent memory. The lechon was tender and flavorful, two ginormous pieces of unctuous, pull apart meat. The tostones were crispy and delicious. Pickled onions balanced the dish, though I was curious with the choice of using rings as opposed to smaller, julienne slices. Rice was yummy, beans just needed some seasoning. Hearty and comforting food right here! It was all so good that I had to stop by the stall later and tell the chef how much I enjoyed it. A little gem right here in Miami...wait...I mean Arvada!!!
