Nothing fancy. Great sandwiches. Bar but no liquor license so no drinks for us! If you are just hungry for a great sandwich this is your place. The rice and beans were good but just warm. read more

What a great find! An authentic cuban sandwich place in Leadville! What? It was delicious. The lechon was done perfectly. The cuban espresso with full sugar made me feel like i was in the islands. Full sugar is full sugar, though, so be careful with that! This place is great. We'll be back every time we're in Leadville. read more

Had the La Machina Vedse and it was excellent. Really great blend and flavor in a vegetarian sandwich. Staff was great too.

We received our sandwiches within 10 minutes of ordering, and sat outside in the sun enjoying the day. I was impressed they also served excellent bloody Mary's and margaritas. Every family member ordered something different and we all loved our sandwiches. I should've taken a picture, but everything was devoured. read more

We loved everything about this place! Stopped in for breakfast right when they opened and were greeted with such friendly and fast service. The breakfast and Cuban sandwiches were delicious!! Coffee is strong and they also serve alcohol in case you need hair of the dog. read more

I was not expecting Cuban food for lunch during my post hiking stop in Leadville yesterday. A burger, BBQ or Mexican I thought was more likely. But as I walked down Harrison Street I saw this place and checked out the menu. I hadn't had a Cuban sandwich since I left Florida five years ago. This was a great find! A tasty Cuban sandwich at a good price, fast and friendly service and lots of picnic tables set apart in the sun to allow for social distancing. Can't go wrong here! read more

Soooo goood!! You order at the window. The cashier was super efficient, helpful and personable. I got the chicken empanada and it was divine! The pastry was light and flaky and the chimichurri sauce was just the right amount of spicy! We also shared an order of plátanos maduros and they were perfect. My man had the bodega and it was super tasty! Also, the mojito was the best I have ever had! Highly recommend! read more

Excellent food. Just finished a long summit hike to Mt Elbert and needed a good meal and a beer. This place was awesome. The Cuban breakfast sandwich was amazing. Will be heading back tomorrow after we hike Mt Massive! read more

I am disappointed in getting food in a wrap as if it was a fast food restaurant. It was okay but not nearly as good as it sounded. Then we ran the pack burro race at Boom Days and before the start two of us needed to use the washroom and they didn't let us. Two employees says "no" and turned around. A small town restaurant that doesn't support an importan local event does not deserve my business. All other businesses in town are friendlier. The bar across the street is seedy but kind. The street food is served better and with a smile. read more

Stopped for lunch on our travels around Colorado and this place had the best Cuban sandwich! I would highly recommend to anyone who loves Cuban food. Great little spot right off the Main Street. looks like killer summer spot too to pop into! Staff were all super friendly and welcoming! keep it up! read more

Food was incredible. So much flavor. Don't forget to ask for the hot sauce. The people were the real shining stars. They were all SO kind and helpful. We will definitely go back next time we are in Leadville. read more

Highly disappointed! We ate lunch and had the Cuban Mix it was not super flavorful and Aye Conyo it was a great sandwich then went back for breakfast.... Beyond disappointed with the breakfast sandwich's. They we're made with what tasted (and looked) like carton eggs and microwaved super thin sliced bacon. Coffee was great. read more

This place is small with a limited menu--basically coffee and sandwiches. The sandwiches are delicious--fresh and hot, and more filling than bread which is great. Seating inside is mostly counter style. read more

I've been here twice in this preBoomTown Days July and it is wonderful. The menu is very small and dishes are definitely not the ordinary. I had ordered an avocado salad that I had asked to modify by adding lettuce. When it came I judged the lettuce as a small plate size and quickly peaked under the lettuce. A beautiful and thinly sliced avocado greeted me with some fresh herbs on it. One look and I loved it and one tasting with the home made herb vinaigrette and I can see myself asking for directions on how to make this dish. 5 stars for this dish. Only reason for not giving 5 star review is that they are wonderful, innovative and new and they are working together so beautifully to get the kinks out. Beautiful outdoor space for eating. But make sure you take a walk inside the two dining rooms to savor the artwork and the cooking smells! read more

10/10 recommend this place - amazing Cuban coffee and breakfast sandwiches! They even have Gluten Free Cuban style bread that tastes just like the real thing. Absolutely delicious!! Our group ordered the Cuban Sandwich, La Machina Verde (without cheese), and the Pork Bowl

I paid $20 for a sandwich in Leadville, CO. I ordered an Aye Conyo (Cuban roast pork, ham, pepperoni, turkey, swiss, mustard, key lime mayo, onions, pickles, jalapeños) and asked for lettuce and tomato to be added (they had a little note at the bottom saying it could be added but it didn't say anything about an extra charge) and then got a large iced Cafe Con Leche (which was bomb and kept me wired for hours). Due to covid they also verbally ask what tip you want to give and start with 15% so you're kinda stuck giving them a minimum of 15% (which I don't mind since it's covid and the workers deserve it but it's not a great way to go about it as you're verbally put on the spot in front of a bunch of people). Since it's covid you don't really get to see what happens at the point of sale and the total ended up being $27.58. We had woken up at 4am and just finished an 8 hour hike so I was too tired to ask why it was so much but I checked the virtual receipt the next day and low an behold they charge an extra $1.50 to add tomato and $1.00 to add lettuce to a sandwich that's already $15.50. I'm pretty sure I can buy a whole tomato and a head of lettuce for less than $2.50. Add in tax and that's a $20 sandwich then add the coffee & tip and PRESTO!: coffee & a sandwich at Buchi will cost you nearly $30 in LEADVILLE COLORADO. I just moved back to Colorado after a decade of this high price BS in California and am already looking at spots in Montana. WHAT IS HAPPENING TO THIS WORLD??? 3 stars because the sandwich was good and the coffee was great. -2 stars for the price. read more

This was absolutley delightful. Just when we thought our little trip to Leadville was a let down, we found BUCHI. The coffee was devine!!! I agree with the other reviews, can't go wrong with the Leche and the breakfast sandwiches were perfect before our adventure into the wild. The staff was super friendly and checked in with us multiple times. I wish I could give it a 10. read more

Very limited menu of expresso and latte coffee. Asked for regular coffee and was looked at like I was speaking another language. Only 1 bean type available. All the drinks are sweetened with sugar. Can request unsweetened. Had a latte (can't recall the name they gave it) but it was basically an expresso with milk. Small was $4.50 and a very weak ice tea $2.50. Breakfast items, mostly sandwiches, looked good. The salads sounded awful - avocado and onion? Iceberg lettuce? Come on... Service was ok. read more

Cute spot for a quick breakfast while driving back from camping. Egg, cheese, and chorizo sandwiches were tasty after eating camp meals all weekend, but at $9 each feels a little pricey for quality of ingredients you get. The coffees were also ok but fairly average and small for $6 each. Overall cute and tasty place to stop, and will do so again when we're not being value conscious. read more

Nice people, quick service during lunch, great made to order sandwiches. Amazing Bloody Mary and Mojitos. No dogs sign= -1 star :(

Ate here twice during hiking trip to CO, once for lunch and once for breakfast. Sandwiches are so good, the bread is perfectly crisped and so much flavor in the ingredients. Service is great, the folks there are so friendly and helpful. Best meal we had in Leadville by far. I almost never post reviews but loved this spot too much not to! read more

Wonderful food! Got the Aye Canyo, and it was amazing, with savory meats and a great flavor balance with the pickles and mustard. Bread is delicious as well. The Cafe con Leche is very high quality coffee, and the hot apple cider is a nice treat too. Quick service, plenty of seating. Hopefully I can stop in here again before we leave Leadville; it's worth it! read more

Terrible service, no WiFi. Coffee is fine but doesn't make up for it. Honestly just go somewhere else

Ive been eying this place as we drive through Leadville..often....and finally got a chance to stop and try it out.....totally worth it!! We noticed they had little greenhouses for private outdoor dining and it was perfect. It was a sunny November day.....about 50 degrees out door temp. We found the greenhouse to be perfect. The temps inside actually rose to 70!! We were toasty and totally comfortable. They even had a little thermometer so you knew! Now onto to the food. We each ordered Cuban sandwiches...mine was pork with carmelized onions and i asked for a side of chimichurri sauce...my husband had a standard Cuban style. We both loved them. We also had some yummy plantains for an appetizer. I was so tempted for a mojito....we'll save that for next time. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. I mentioned i had a dairy allergy and they were so helpful to assure I didn't get any. I cant wait to return and try some other things...and especially that MOJITO!! read more
