Beware! Freschi Air Service Experts operates more like a sales company than an HVAC service…read moreprovider. We initially signed up for their membership program for regular maintenance, but our experience has been extremely disappointing. Rather than service our system, their main concern is sending a Home Health Report stating you need to buy a brand new system. During a recent service call, they sent Hugo Coyac, who was both unprofessional and dismissive. Our HVAC system was fully functional before his visit, yet it stopped working immediately after. Instead of resolving the issue, we were told our "only option" was to purchase a new system due to age. This left us without AC for four days during 100-degree weather. A local independent technician later restored our unit in less than an hour by simply replacing dirty coils and replenishing 2lbs of Freon--basic services Freschi failed to provide us over this past year. This made it clear their priority is selling expensive replacements, NOT solving problems. Freschi Air Service pressures homeowners, disregards customer concerns, and sends salespeople rather than qualified technicians. I urge homeowners to seek out smaller, owner-operated companies that focus on honest service and customer education. We will never use Freschi again. They should take Experts out of their name and replace it with Salespeople. Do not recommend; do not waste your time.

Alex, Osvaldo and Anthony responded to our member request for our yearly heat maintenance. In doing…read moreso they checked our current system to see if an automatic thermostat could be installed for both heat and a/c. New wiring would be needed but while our a/c was old but in good shape, our heater needed work. Instead they offered us viable options for switching out our 20 year old a/c and gas heat to an all electric brand new heat and a/c system with an automatic thermostat. Our ducts and wiring in the attic had rodent damage, a lot of work had to be done. (Plus we had another contractor immediately deal with the rodents.) After two days of hard, diligent work, Osvaldo and Anthony completely replaced and updated our heating and air conditioning systems. When one a/c compressor wasn't to my liking because of its size in the space allotted in our small backyard, Anthony suggested one we liked much better! Osvaldo patiently explained the intricacies of running the system and auto thermostat so that it will be most efficient. We couldn't be more pleased with their professionalism, work ethic and knowledge. Everything is terrific. We highly recommend!!

RESIDENTIAL BUYER BEWARE. In 2018 my very old AC unit was on it's way out and so we looked into…read morereplacing the unit. Doing our due diligence of obtaining multiple quotes we found Mike and Black Diamond. We ended up using them as we thought we had a good feel from them and the price happened to be the one right in the middle. Mistake. Fast forward to 2023 and suddenly there is no more cool air. Uh oh. After asking around and speaking to Mike finally someone came out to check it out and long story short filled it with freon and was told to monitor for a leak. Well it worked great all summer long but by this summer no more cold air. Here's where the problem starts. In 2023 there was a little hemming and hawing about coming out to fix because they were busy and said we were out of warranty which isn't true. Now in 2024 we faced the same thing only worse. As a single woman I tend to get more of the runaround from male businesses, I'm also going to school and working, so pretty busy and asked my Dad to contact him. We got a date, June 20th, on the books for them to come out and fix the leak etc. Well June 19th rolls around, and I'm told the next day appointment is to be cancelled due to a Covid out break at a facility they are under contact with. Ok. Well i was going out of town. So I was told just text when I'm back. No, with a dog and 3 kids this needs to be on the books. So I'm asked for 7/3 which I can't do and schedule for 7/1. On the 1st I'm told they aren't coming again, only this time it's because they didn't finish their Friday or weekend work. But he'll be here 7/3, never took it off the calendar. Suspicious of not ever actually scheduling the appointment on the 1st much? Well guess what its 7/3 and I sent a text and my dad called and no show. No response. Ghosted. This was literally as short as I could make this review. There many details to the interaction in 2023 and 2024 that could be spoken about but you get the point. They don't care about the residential units and people they've worked with or following through on warranties. It's not about integrity or being a business of its word. For Black Diamond It's all about the contracts they have with big companies or developments and money. We will be complaining to states licensing board and BBB.
