This was my first time at Buc-ee's and it was all that I wanted it to be because all that I wanted it to be was a bathroom where I could pee. While driving to Dallas from Oklahoma City I picked up a 32oz Diet Coke at a Braum's in Paul's Valley. Well, 2 sips and 2 minutes later and I felt like my bladder was simultaneously pushing on my lungs and my butt. Even though my wife kept saying "we can stop we can stop" I just screamed "BUC-EE'S OR BUST!!!" All that to say, this was a "park, run inside, and thank the Lord for his provision" experience for me. The bathroom was (as expected) world famously clean. The automatic paper towel dispenser on my side of the sink didn't work but when you've come that close to wetting the car the small frustrations of life don't seem to matter. I like that the Bucc-ee Bois that work behind the BBQ counter have to wear little cowboy hats. We got several sweet treats but I skipped a drink because I've still got 90% of a DC waiting for me in the car. read more

My review is for the carwash. Important things to note if you wash your car here: 1) The automated machine didn't appear to have a cash option at all and it's an unattended machine so have your credit or debit card ready. 2) There are only 2 wash options and the cheapest one is not cheap. It's $13 and the deluxe or whatever Buc-ee's calls their upgrade version is $16 which is pretty cheap compared to many carwashes. 3) You are offered a free vacuum option. I selected it. The free vacuum gives you EXACTLY 8 minutes to vacuum your car. I'm not making this up. read more

This is a good one. So clean and organized. We stopped here for breakfast, drinks and of course snacks for our trip home. Breakfast taco, good Breakfast croissant, good I love that they had a basket to the side of the fresh sandwiches for extra bbq, or mustard, Salsa. The Terrell one did not. (I ALREADY POSTED MY VIEWS ON THIS LOCATION) Lady making the coated nuts was so nice. Love the coated pecans. I got a Pecan log that I haven't tried yet. We like the fresh chips and bbq sandwiches and turkey sandwiches the best. I still want to try a made to order Reubens, need to find out which ones have them. Traveling on my voyage from California to Texas, it was a necessary itinerary to visit Buc-ee's before my departure back. Now, this was not my first Buc-ee's visit, but this was my first time traveling to the Denton Buc-ee's, so I was searching to see if any of the merchandise was slightly different. To my surprise, as my group and I are off-boarding the 35 North Freeway, I was put at awe of the lovely sunshine hovering over the building. It really sets a good first impression. Also to my surprise, I was not aware there was an entire South side grass field for dog duties. The indoor portion of the Buc-ee's generally presented the same expectations of high traffic but a joyful atmosphere. I had the grandstanding pleasure of witnessing Buc-ee uplifting the crowd and taking photos with the mass. I met Robert, a kind man who helped me find the red T-shirts. I saw Tanner hard at work mopping the floor and cleaning a hazardous mess in the store. In my departure, my check-out was facilitated by Tsiyon who was very professional and lovely. It is my gratitude to share I was esteemed in my visit to Texas and be introduced to a new Buc-ee's I have not visited before, leaving this post-Thanksgiving Day with some new gray sweats, a trucker hat, a Christmas festive warming top, a thermos bottle, and some other accessories. We came here because of all the hype this gas station chain has and it was definitely the best gas station I've ever been to. My sister had some snacks from here that weren't like anything I've ever tasted and she said we had to go there to see all the different foods they have. My friend said she tried and loved the homemade rice krispy treats they sell right at check out. If I were on a road trip and passing through Texas, this would absolutely be where I want to stop. The gas prices are very cheap compared to the other gas stations I've seen closer to my sister's house (which is about 25 mins from this location). It's about 40 cents cheaper a gallon. There were at least 25 different pump stations here. The store inside is super clean and organized and the staff was friendly. I didn't know they were known for their clean restrooms, so I definitely had to check that out (I often rate my experience somewhere based on their bathrooms anyway). And this alone is the reason I would want to stop here if I were taking a road trip. The bathrooms were extremely clean. Each individual stall has hand sanitizer and some foaming stuff to clean your toilet seat. My brother said all of the urinals also had their own hand sanitizer. The buc-ee's bold and spicy nug-ees are amazing (this is what we came to buy to take back home). We also bought the habanero cheese nug-ees which definitely have a spice to it. If you're on the fence with spicy things, do not buy these because they might be too spicy for you. But other than that, the flavor is great! My husband bought their beef jerky as well. We all got a cappuccino (the southern pecan flavor is my favorite). They have a ton of creamers, and also fudge and caramel sauce and whipped cream you could add to your drink. We also tried the beaver nuggets (like a sweet corn nugget dessert), which are sold near the check out counters as well. They're kind of sweet, but I don't think they're overly sweet. 2019 Yelp 120 Challenge - #120 YAY! MY 120th REVIEW OF 2019! :) I am not a Texas Native so I get happy every time I see a Buc-ee's. This looks as if it is one of its newest locations. I love how the entrance is so easy to get into and it is layout to prevent congestion. Buc-ee's is has all of your home, car, road trip essentials and it is all affordably priced. My husband loves coming when they're making brisket sandwiches, however we were able to try a few of their breakfast sandwiches. Everything was good however I feel that they put to much egg on the burrito, one bite and it falls apart. I love their made to order area because I am sucker for freshly cooked chicken strips and fries. Drink needs are also meet here. You can purchase a fountain drink, bottled drink, slushees, or stick to coffee. Depending on the time you're going may determine your drink, but it is available at all times. My favorite is the international delight creamer station. International delight is one of my favorite coffee brand and they have an array for creamers to choose from. This made me so happy. Bucc-ee's also sells various snack, clothing, cups, home signs, you name it. I normally am all about Buc-ee's but yesterday the one in Denton was a disappointment! We went in with our 6 yr old twins and told them they could pick 1 food item and 1 snack. They both asked for the Beef Burrito (which had a picture of refrained beans, taco meat and yellow cheese) but when we got back on the road both the tacos were wrong! They were shredded meat with onions and bell peppers, which neither of our children would eat. $15 dollars wasted! I expect better from Buc-ee's!!! read more

What's BUC-EE's? A SUPER HUGE 711, Supermarket, Convenience Store, gas station, that has TONS, TONS & TONS of everything!! They got everything here, I don't know where to begin or even start when I entered. I was so excited and happy, that I am at BUC-EE's, could you tell with all my 38 photos?! Such a Fun store, The beaver logo is so cute! I am so amazed roaming the store, with only 30 minutes which was a good thing since I can imagine the damage I could have done if I was there longer. What did I get during this trip?! beaver souvenirs, Texas Sovenirs, spices, chips, cigarettes, face mask, pork rinds, beaver chips, sandwich melt, Kolache, peach muffin. Regret not getting more stuff. We enjoyed the melt, Kolache, beaver chips ( not real beaver but fresh.hot potato chips) the Kolache was so good better than the ones I had in Houston and the peach muffin, super good! I've never had a peach muffin before, outside crust is crispy and moist, and the peach muffin makes eating can peach so good! I am enjoying the Habenero flavored pork rinds I bought home, slowly everyday. Overall, this place is Amaaaazing, Beaver appproved!! The husband & I are excited and can't wait to visit again. Buc-ee's is an obligatory stop on the trip from OKC to Dallas. I mostly love the clean spacious bathrooms. Parking your car in the middle of the parking lot and entering through the "front" (not on the north or south side of the building) ensures you'll be at the door with the quickest bathroom accessibility. (Once inside, head directly to the back of the store.) They have everything and more than you'd expect in the food and drink department. They make a lot of food offerings in-house, they always look and smell good. The store portion of Buc-ee's is reminiscent of a country store. There's not much you need, but lots of "oh my, look at THIS!" moments. They have wacky novelty buys like swimsuits and adult PJ onesies with Buc-ee (the beaver...?) on them, or ugly "sweaters" that will be guarantee a spot in the top 3 at your ugly sweater office party. They have kitchenware, clothing, sporting goods, and gadgets, everything you can certainly live without. Prices seem to be high, better deals to be had elsewhere. If you are from OK you'll notice they don't have ethanol free gasoline (big bummer). The best way to describe a Buc-ee's is that this place is the Disneyland of gas stations. It is complete with a mascot (a beaver), his face plastered on everything from baby sippee cups to mugs to frisbees to underwear. Yes, underwear. Unless you live in Texas, you can't comprehend what a Buc-ee's truly is. Too many it is actually a destination when you come down here to visit and it is always an experience. Picture of gas station and then multiply it by ten, add a high-end car wash, a meat counter dedicated to jerky and even an actual person in a beaver costume. Of course we had to grab some brisket sandwhiches. They were yummy & for only $6 is a great way to fill ya up on a budget. Kids had chicken tender meals and ate every bite. The meal had 4 tenders, fries, white gravy and Texas toast for $5!!!! They have a bunch of food choices (hot&cold) so everyone can find something they will love. Buc-ee's, oddly enough, is one of our favorite stops whenever we are in Texas. Maybe it is the wide variety of items you can get there that intrigues us. Maybe it is all the activity going on inside and out that draws you in. Maybe it is the sheer size of the place that allures you. I don't know but you can get so many things here: Buc-ee's famous beaver nuggets or fudge, candy, ICEE's, beef jerky, brisket sandwiches, pulled pork sandwiches, fried chicken sandwiches, salads, fruit cups, t-shirts, coolers, and so much more. Besides the many many gas pumps available, there's a car wash (also the longest I've ever seen but I'm assuming that's for the semi-trucks?) and tons of vacuum hoses, there is a humongous gift shop that has everything from hot food, drinks, a small grocery, snacks, home goods and tourist/gift shop items like t-shirts, keychains, etc. I spent 1 and 1/2 hours walking around and being amazed at everything they had. (12/10/21 Visit) The Denton location was the first Buc-ee's I had been to a few years ago, so I have a soft spot for it. Even though I live in Las Vegas and don't go too often, I consider Buc-ee's my happy place and as usual it did not disappoint. My must haves every visit is the fudge, beef jerkey, and kolache. Salted Caramel and Chewy Praline are two of my favorites for fudge. I have too many favorites for beef jerky. I always get the Sausage Cheese Jalapeno Kolache. I did a lot of Christmas Shopping since they have so many fun things for gifts. Everything from Buc-ees Merchandise to unique items. All the employee I interacted with were super friendly and prices, especially on food is so reasonable. And yes, they have the cleanest bathrooms! I even met Buc-ee walking around dressed as Santa! There's not much to say about Buc-ee's... If you know, you know. Buc-ee's is a staple in the South for any traveler. It's the best gas station chain in the entire US! They are best known for their clean restrooms and endless gas stations. When you walk inside you are greeted with walls/shelves of snacks and drinks as far the eye can see. They also have all sorts of fountain drinks, coffees and Icees. I usually head to the center to grab a sliced brisket sandwich (make sure to ask for extra BBQ sauce) then I head to the jerky counter and order a couple pounds of jerky with all different flavors. They also have a section for gifts (clothing, knick-knacks, souvenirs even electronics). They literally have everything you need for you to recharge yourself, your family, and even your car. In the realm of gas stations, Buc-ees is the cream of the crop, the absolute best you will get. You will never have to wait behind another car to get gas since there are hundreds of pumps. The gas was significantly cheaper than surrounding gas stations. On 6/24/19, gas at other stations were averaging $2.42/gallon. I got gas at Buc-ee's for $2.12/gallon. That was the same price as the membership only Sam's club price. If you live near a Buc-ee's, no need to go anywhere else! I ventured inside to explore all they had to offer. I wandered for about 30 minutes looking at all the cool stuff. They had a whole unicorn baby section with clothes, mobiles, and art prints. They have cute children's books as well. I liked the goodnight dallas/fort worth book, which goes through some of the landmarks. They have a ton of cool gifts for adults. My favorite section was giant wall of mudpie items! It was so tempting. They also had a wedding section, perfect for cute wedding gifts. If you need to buy someone a gift, forget about the mall or some department store, Buc-ee's will have something perfect for them! Obviously, Buc-ee's also sells fresh and prepackaged food. Savory and sweet, you'll find something to enjoy. Fudge, banana creme pudding, cheesecake, cake balls, jerky, bbq, pecans, jams, seasonings, popcorn, trail mix, and way more. Two items I picked up were the sizzlin saltines and the corn nuts. The saltines had a zing to them that made you want another and the corn nuts were the answer to calm the spice. Traveling on I-35 through Denton this is a must see stop. Has 122 gas pumps and so many food/drink/Tx souvenirs/clothes choices would take hours to look at it all. Their mascot is a beaver so lots of items feature him. There are 20 choices of jerky to give u an idea of what they offer. We got delicous sandwiches brisket and pulled pork, I will definately get those next time also. They have small containers of sweet onions/ dill pickles and bbq sauce you need to ask for at sandwich counter. We also bought a bag of their famous beaver nuggets-carmel covered corn pops that are very additive. They had so much awesome merch and goodies. The brisket sandwich was so good, I am still thinking about it till this day. It has dozens and dozens of gas pumps, thousands of square feet indoors to explore, and a huge, clean restroom. Huge! They have all kinds of shopping inside - souvenirs, kitchen stuff, clothing, plus all the other stuff you never knew you needed. Part of Buc'ee's is like a convenience store on steroids with loads of snack/drink etc. choices. They also have fudge, baked goods, brisket sandwiches, sausages - you just have to see it. If you buy a certain level of car wash, you get big savings on your gas. It was the longest car wash I'd ever driven through, with something like 4 different sets of dryers! (My friend paid, but I think she bought the $16 car wash, but only had to pay $1.39 a gallon for gas? Something like that.) You just have to see it to believe it! The mass-produced brisket sandwich was pretty much what you would expect. ("Meh") I don't ever eat "gas station food" but I would guess that my sandwich there was better than most gas stations though.
