At 3:00pm I contacted them again and they said now, the gentleman that was scheduled to come out here was stuck and couldn't come out until tomorrow...So do you think they were actually going to come out tomorrow? The answer is no. I live in a rural town which they CLAIM to service but its only if you are convenient. Poor planning, poor scheduling, they will drop you for their higher paying jobs. They don't care to lose your service because they can't keep up with it anyways. Take my advice and call someone else. Insincere. Diengenous. Should probably higher some real people. Now certainly wouldn't trust them to do a good job and not rush to something else.

Now I have to call another electrician to redo how the cord is wound thru the chain because it is firmly anchored on both ends so I can't, and I'm afraid of my light being further damaged. I feel like I need to send electrician #2 back up in the attic as well to check behind Mike and ensure that he did the part in the ceiling that we cannot see correctly. Mike is unprofessional, dismissive and does not stand by his work, I suspect because he was aware that he broke the 2 globes when he hung my light, didn't say anything & just took my money and washed his hands. I will never be doing business with Johnson Electrical & Power again (not that Mike cares or he'd answer my text), and I'll be sharing this shameful experience with everyone I know.

Looks like a "fun" place to stop but almost everything about it is completely OVERRATED. Sandwiches are EXPENSIVE... and very overrated. Their pulled pork (pre-made) is DISGUSTING... and it is $7.99. If the pulled pork were good, that'd be a $3.99 sandwich at the very most. Sliced BBQ Turkey Sandwich (pre-made) $7.99... it's OK, but nothing special. Pretty light on the amount of turkey, heavy on the bread... I picked one up as soon as they put them out... it was barely warm. Texas BLT... (custom order from kiosk) comes with Mayo -- what they don't tell you is that it is a hot, spicy mayo that is LAVA FIRE HOT. First time, sandwich had LOTS of B, L, and T... and the hot mayo. Not just hot but nasty tasting. Second time I tried it... I got no mayo... but the B, the L, and the T were almost non-existent. It was mostly a bread sandwich. Salads -- at other locations (maybe they've changed), there were at least 6 salads to choose from... and they didn't choose the dressing for you. A salad included up to two packets of dressing - OF YOUR CHOICE. And they had about 10 dressings to choose from. Now, they put a tiny little cup of some Nasty dressing that they choose. And they have only three dressings in packets available... and they are 50 cents each. They only have three salads to choose from now, nothing good. No garden salad... no French, Italian, or Vinaigrette dressings at all. Breakfast sandwiches... whenever they have breakfast, they have the kiosks disabled.. They only have premade sandwiches... and ALL BUT ONE have disgusting cheese on them. Millions of people either hate cheese or can't have it... I hate it, myself. But there were several other people there on this one morning trying to find a breakfast selection without cheese. They had ONE: A sausage biscuit. No sausage & egg, like normal. Just a biscuit with sausage... nothing else... and it was $3.99!!!! The should sell two or three for that price! Their beaver chips weren't available (due to a 'manufacturing issue'). They substituted Tator Tots... but they had no ketchup available. I heard at least 20 people ask for ketchup packets.... only two of those people got the tots anyway... the rest of them bypassed them or put them back. What they are good for: BAGGED ICE, SODA, GASOLINE --- NOTHING ELSE. read more

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Buc-ee's for the first time, and it was an exciting experience. I had been eagerly awaiting its completion, and once I found out it was ready, I knew a visit was imminent. We happened to go on a Saturday, which turned out to be quite crowded, but that was somewhat expected, and the crowds didn't dampen my enthusiasm. The store itself is massive, impressively clean, and well-organized. What really stood out to me was the presence of third-party vendors who offered a variety of merchandise, some of which I had only seen online. It was a nice surprise to find these unique brands on display. Buc-ee's merchandise was equally impressive, with an array of shirt options and a wide range of items, from cups and stickers to stuffed animals and blankets. The best part was that everything was reasonably priced, unlike most branded merchandise that tends to be overly expensive. I also had the opportunity to sample some of Buc-ee's offerings, and they didn't disappoint. The fresh rice krispies, 3 meat BBQ sandwich, cinnamon roll, and banana pudding cup were all delightful and exceeded my expectations for food from a gas station. The staff members were fantastic and maintained their friendliness even during the peak of the bustling crowd. While I can't give it a perfect 5-star rating due to a billing error where I was double-charged for an item, it's worth mentioning that Buc-ee's customer service swiftly resolved the issue, which speaks to their commitment to customer satisfaction. In summary, Buc-ee's is nothing short of amazing. Despite the weekend rush and the crowd, I thoroughly enjoyed exploring the store, stocking up on snacks, and loading my cart with merchandise. Buc-ee's (for the rest of the review going to be referred to as Buccees) is the worst business to ever come out of our great nation and a disgrace to everything good that America has to offer. It is one of the most unpatriotic companies out there and no Buccees will ever get my business for the time I have remaining on earth. This Buccees is a large contributor to this. The drive up to my grandparents house used to be beautiful and something I would look forward to. Hopping off Huntsville-Brownsferry road, seeing the old churches and mansions. One day I noticed they were doing construction. I thought they were just repaving the road until I saw the Buck-toothed, deformed chipmunk that this company uses as their mascot. I immediately tried to wake myself up from this nightmare only to find out it was a reality. I knew that this Buccees would kill some of my most cherished memories. There are now 3 Buccees in my great state and every single one of them sucks. The one on I-10 near Orange Beach has absolutely wrecked traffic. The one in Leeds has destroyed the entrance to the Bass Pro Shops, and the one in Athens has desecrated a historical exit. Why has this place become an attraction? It's a gas station with the worst mascot known to man, I mean come on a chipmunk, I could take on 1000 of those with my bear hands. Probably more if I started doing more cardio. The food is mediocre. Everyone loves to talk about their brisket sandwich. I got news for you, it tastes like (redacted). They have hundreds of gas pumps yet it still takes forever to find one. Also, everyone's favorite past time seems to be urinating on the Buccees bathroom floor. Buccees is participating in cancel culture with every single business it puts up. I cannot support that. I was surprised to see that entire staff was caucasion. From front cashiers to sales associates, and management staff. I saw one mexican coming from the back. I am really surprized to see this in 2022. Half the cashiers had no clue how to use the POS system for customers wanting only gas. Had to refer me to a night manager who couldnt figure it out either. Store manager needs to train them and get more of variety of employees. Not just old white people. read more

BUT the $50 ($60 for larger cars) hand wax plus add ons are A+++ in service, quality, and value. Took two vehicles in on separate days and times ... serviced by two different employees ... both did a fantastic job. This place is not cheap, but the quality of service is worth it.

Now, I really like this convenient store and gas station because there's plenty of room outside to…read morepark. When you pull in the gas pumps up front are cars. The gas pumps behind and on the other side of the store are for big trucks as most of these are diesel pumps. Their bath rooms are outside which is unusual but I like it. I have a feeling that this used to be a busy truck stop at one time. Well, they built a Loves Travel Stop just down the road. So, lots of 18 wheelers stop and rest there. But, I did see a few here. They have some great fried chicken and catfish here at a separate deli counter which is manned by a second person who is a cook. There tator logs are some of the best I have eaten anywhere. Just put some catsup on them for a delightful snack. Also their prices on chicken and logs is very reasonable. Their parking lot is so big that you can use this as rest stop.

One side of the gas station is mainly for 18-wheelers & other large trucks, and the other side is for regular cars. Gas is comparable to most of the gas stations in Courtland (all four of them). One of the attractions to Sibley's has to be the food that it offers, be it catfish, burgers, fried chicken, etc. During my stop, the cook had a nonchalant "take-it-or-leave-it" attitude when it came to seeing what was available to eat. It almost felt like pulling my own teeth out just to find out if she could make a simple hamburger with fixings that I wanted on it. I understand that all of us have our days at work, but don't piss on a paying customer, Miss Cook. I walked out of Sibley's thinking to myself, "WTF was all that about?" And the bathroom (which is outside, FYI) afterwards didn't help. It looked as if it was Afghanistan, post 2003- bombed out & depleted. The absolute worst bathroom that I've ever seen at a gas station. For men, I strongly recommend holding it, or finding the nearest bush. Plenty of bushes in Alabama, so you'll be okay. What saved the day was the cashier, who seemed to sense what was going on. Her pleasant demeanor & positive attitude reflected part of what Sibley's employees had represented in the past. I would give this place a second chance, provided they clean the men's bathroom at least once a year & have a cook that doesn't cop an attitude with a simple food order.
