While there are no real food options here other than some prepackaged sandwiches, of you are traveling and want to tie in both a fuel stop and grab a meal, there are a decent amount of dining options in the immediate area. All in all, this was a decent place to fill up your vehicle.

The entire store is run by a family who are always there and keep the place much nicer than any other gas station i've ever seen, and they treat the customers with respect, having been in this business for many years. I love going here, and I can't help but start a conversation with the managers every time I step into the place, and they don't seem to care at all. last night around 10:00 pm I neeeed some gas and was traveling back to Decatur from my family's…read morehouse and saw that the lights were on at the Marathon station. I pulled in, walked in and paid my gas and as I was walking back out to pump my gas someone had immediately turned off all of the lights. I am 62, disabled so when the lights went off I literally could not see anything. I almost tripped over their uneven concrete driveway. pumping the gas was difficult as I was having to feel around for my gas compartment knob and getting the pump handle out of its resting place to pump the gas. Apparently there was more than one person there because the man that took my money could not have possibly turned off all of the lights. I just think they could have waited for me to leave before turning the lights off. I think it was the most inconsiderate thing to do and completely unprofessional. Needless to say, I will Not be buying gas there again.
