This is a nice gas station. I topped off my tank here last weekend. Unlike Mapco, they don't have…read morefree plastic gloves available. They do have an air machine for your tires that I've used and it always appears to be in service. I recall it takes quarters, heck you can't find free air anymore. I've swapped out propane tanks here and the prices were in line with other places. I don't spend a lot of time inside the store itself, but my exchanges with the cashiers have always been pleasant. It has the "feel" of a location with a few two top tables where retired folks enjoy a cup or ten of coffee and some chit chat nearly every morning. The parking lot is in good shape both in terms of the condition of the asphalt and there's no random trash junking it up or overflowing trash cans. They do offer the squeegee things in liquid solution and brown paper towels for washing/wiping your windows and headlight covers. I'm happy we have this gas station in a humble strip mall close to home because I do spend a lot of time on Capshaw Road and, especially east bound, it is easy to get in and out of this gas station, located at a 4-way stop at Capshaw Road and East Limestone Road.

They have some things from Priester's Pecans that are a real treat, a milkshake machine, a good selection of candy, and a bit of a food selection with a place to sit and eat if you nee. The folks that work here are generally enthusiastic and happy. It isn't a travel destination, but honestly, for an Exxon, this is the five stars.

    Buc ee's - Fueling stations

    Buc ee's

Very happy to find this Buc-ee's location when traveling through on 1-65…read more We had planned to stop for a quick break and a snack, but I noticed that the gas price was the cheapest we had seen on our trip. So I decided to fill up the gas tank as well. Employees were super friendly. I was able to quickly find the items I needed along with a couple of impulse purchases. But who can leave Buc-cee's without at least one beaver souvenir? Restroom was very clean in usual Buc-ee's style.

This is my first and possibly last Bucee's experience…read more Outside: YES--Cheapest gas--a full $0.70 cheaper than any other stations along the highway!!! That alone was worth the stop, but the rest of the experience was less than expected. By the pumps, there are no windshield washer squeegees anywhere, so you cannot clean the bugs off of your windshield. The pay-at-the-pump interface was frustrating. It would not accept my Discover card. I used my Visa, and it locked into selling me only 15 gallons. The only great part of the refueling experience was the price and the zero wait for a pump because they have so many of them. Also, this location has a car wash, and the purchase option was imbedded in the gas purchase--I didn't want it, but accidentally got it. I guess that would be one way to clean the windows, but be aware as you're trying to buy gas. Inside: The inside is huge. It's like someone took a Walmart and placed restrooms and food kiosks in the center of it. The women's bathroom was awesomely clean. It's huge with individual doored stall-rooms along the walls with green (open) and red (busy) lights above the door, so you can quickly find a stall that's open. The entire center of the bathroom is full of sinks/soap/paper towels. It was spotlessly clean and the highlight of the whole experience. Food: Having seen another Yelp review, we got 2 XXL BBQ Brisket sandwiches and Buc-ee's chips and 2 $0.99 fountain drinks. We also picked up a small bag of chocolate covered pretzels. That lunch cost us $41, and there was nowhere to sit to eat it. The expectation is that you go back out to your car to eat. After being in the car for 6 hours, I didn't want to eat in the car, so we found a lamppost in the shade that we used as a "table" and stood to eat. Service: Everyone working at this location was helpful and friendly, so the service is great. Recommendation: If you are looking for a clean bathroom and cheaper gas--this is an awesome place to stop!! Of course, the cheaper gas price is how they draw you in, then they make up the loss in inside sales, especially food. There are many food choices, which is also good, as long as you intend to eat in the car. If you get the BBQ sandwich, I would get the one without the sauce.

Lack of customer service Or just plain racist? You be the judge…read more... I'm a mapco mart member;because it's like the closest thing we have to a Pilot here; so I go there all the time, for everything and I always am greeted and have a good experience. But when I go to the on harvest road.... boooooy Now I've only gone to this gas station about two or three times but every time I go there I get the same attendant and the same attitude. The first time I remember going there she was talking to a (white) customer in front of me, laughing and conversing but as soon as I approached her, her whole demeanor changed. She spoke no more than three words, but I could still hear the distain in her voice. I just assumed she had a long day and went about my business. The second time, I walked in and I saw no one was at the counter so I looked around to see if they were somewhere else, but when I didn't see anyone I said "hello" All she did was look me in my eyes and go back to what she was doing. She did not speak one word to me during this trip. Now I've worked customer service for 8 years and that's just not how's it's done... I'm not sure i remind her of someone or she's just not that into black people but I assure you. I will NEVER return to this gas station...

I've had to start driving out of my way to go to a diff store just to make sure I get what I need in the mornings. It just gets old walking into a store & them not having the stuff they're supposed to carry and have to go somewhere else to get it especially when you're in a hurry. It's either a hateful, person behind the register tht OBVIOUSLY hates her job and hates PEOPLE in general or they're out of things you need. Ask any customer tht comes in the doors of tht store and I GUARANTEE you they're gonna tell you all about the attitudes and how they're talked to when they go in the store!! So sick of tht too! I mean.... seriously.... wth does the hiring!? It's almost like, if you don't have a sour ass personality or you're not just a downright asshole to ppl then they won't keep you long.... it's unreal! I'm just getting to where I hate this store altogether!!
