The drinks are COLD and that's the most positive thing I can say. They occasionally have warm food, but rarely have warm grab and go food ready. Their gas prices are now above average. Their fuel rewards program, which would almost but not quite align their gas price with average is clumsy and sometimes you don't get the discount at the pump because of the wicked dance and start over you have to sometimes do between debit and credit. She will even go as far as to talk about the customers to other people telling people that "she don't like them bc they get on their nerves"!! Well guess What?! This TD/Shell was super clean with easy access from 72 or Balch Road. The pumps worked as expected and trash cans were not overflowing. There were plenty of gas pumps, and parking spots. The store interior was stocked well, and was clean and modern. The TD offers all the convenience store accoutrements you would expect except vino. There is no vino in this store. They do have beer for sale. I can't speak to the coffee or the restrooms as I just glanced around the TD and got back to running errands. Thanks, TD, for offering a large, clean, well-lighted gas station experience in a part of town that really needs this (I'm looking at you Mapco on the north side of 72 at County Line Road - which is super tight in terms of space and frequented by panhandlers)!

During those days nearly 3 years ago I frequented this Mapco, using the rewards card and getting items from inside. The parking lot is a tad tight now, the concrete bumpy and rough and depending on the time of day you will have trouble entering and exiting this store. It has a Domino's just north of it and this particular intersection can be and really is a cluster if you don't hit it during the "sweet spot." Employees, in my experience, have been generally helpful-with the Mr. or Ms. "I forgot to take my meds today," sometimes manning the checkout line. It's small. I think there are three lanes of pumps with one pump per lane. Most days my rewards card doesn't work at the pump. And ya know what? The Mapco app is even worse because it is nearly impossible to set up and use. To sum it up: there are two Mapcos in this general vicinity. This one and the one further east/southeast from this one on Old Madison Pike near the Rideout Road/University Drive intersection behind Wal Mart. Completely avoid that one unless you are looking to buy some meth. This one comes in at close second for me as pretty much ghetto.

I'm a mapco mart member;because it's like the closest thing we have to a Pilot here; so I go there all the time, for everything and I always am greeted and have a good experience. But when I go to the on harvest road.... boooooy Now I've only gone to this gas station about two or three times but every time I go there I get the same attendant and the same attitude. The first time I remember going there she was talking to a (white) customer in front of me, laughing and conversing but as soon as I approached her, her whole demeanor changed. She spoke no more than three words, but I could still hear the distain in her voice. I just assumed she had a long day and went about my business. The second time, I walked in and I saw no one was at the counter so I looked around to see if they were somewhere else, but when I didn't see anyone I said "hello" All she did was look me in my eyes and go back to what she was doing. She did not speak one word to me during this trip. Now I've worked customer service for 8 years and that's just not how's it's done... I'm not sure i remind her of someone or she's just not that into black people but I assure you. I will NEVER return to this gas station...
