Great place to stop and use clean rest rooms. Just don't get carrier away buys all the BS. It adds up quick.

We were here at 10pm and it was relatively calm. Maybe only 40 or 50 car loads of people. Including a newly wed couple in full dress who stopped by for something. Great place all the way around. Dog walking area on the far side of the parking lot for you pet lovers. Bathrooms are like a great hall of awesome. High tech sensors on everything. Clean, clean, clean. It's true. Huge food selection. I had no idea there were that many types of salsa available. It was late, and we had already eaten, but we still grabbed a few of the Buc-ee's trail mix packages and drinks just in case. The tire pump was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay on the other side of the property and we ended up over there because we had a low tire on the wife's SUV. Yep - clean and high tech air pump. Got things filled up and then got back on the road. Would totally come back any time. read more

On a long trip stopped here for bite to eat and decided to get some sleep. I was so rudely awakened and told they didn't allow that here. Noticed he was putting notices on other cars. They should put up a notice when you come in that says,"MAKE YOUR PURCHASE AND THEN LEAVE!" One they serve food and provide no place to eat food. Two the have a very large parking lot. Mostly unused yet nobody is a lower to use it unless you are still making purchases. Hey Butchese maybe you should have a smaller parking lot and not locate along interstate highways where tired tourist will stop from driver fatigue. I will remember to forget this place next to me I need gas or a snack. Also your merchandise is way over priced. Gave ya 1 star too many. read more

Do not buy ready to eat food there if you are not used to eating crap! Just left the place half an hour ago with hot BBQ sandwiches ($5.49), ready to eat chips( $1.35) in a cup, and a baked potato salad ($6). My sandwich with a sausage smothered in subpar BBQ sauce on a cotton white bread was the most edible thing out of the list. The chips were stale and tough and tasteless. But the prize goes to the potato salad: the worst crap I be ever had in place of a potato salad: reeks of either chemicals in the dressing or old stale potatoes, does not really matter. We could not have a single bite. I chewed it up and had to spit it out. And they dare to price it like they are some damn Whole Foods! read more

my wife and I travel from San Antonio to Sealy on a regular basis to visit my elderly mother. We always stop at Buc-ees for our Pinnie sandwich and soda refill. I was very disappointed today to find out the sandwich is no longer being offered. WHY?? That was your best seller! This the best gas station chain, bar none, in the entire USA. They have thought about what it is travelers want and provide an experience no one else has come close to. First off, the gas station is huge, they must have 80 pumps (guess) and the store offers a very wide variety of things to eat and a variety of on the road snacks, great choice of drinks and a place to shop things from nick nacks to clothing, a new hat, to housing bling. It is great, I even look forward to stopping on my trips to Houston and Austin. Oh and if you want to try some Bucees "Crack" snack, get the Beaver Nuggets - they're a twist between sugar smacks and corn puffs - deliciously addictive and definitely a sugar high. And last but not least, Bucees has the best restrooms in the business - clean and comfortable with nice touches like hand sanitizers mounted right next to the urinals - thank you! Buc-ees has the cleanest restrooms if any "convenience" type store I've ever seen. There are numerous stalls (I estimate 50+). If I know Buc-eyes in on my route when traveling, I will wait in order to use their always clean restrooms. The fact that they are completely closed in with a normal door is also a huge plus for me. The shopping options range from candies, drinks and food to really nice gifts, toys, sporting goods , etc. Too numerous and varied to name. You just need to stop and see for yourself. (Don't be intimidated by the packed parking lot. Buc-ees can get you in and out as fast as you want), but be prepared to look around. Their shopping options are enticing. read more

I always feel the need to stop at a buc-ee's every time I'm on the road!! I'm obsessed with their kettle corn popcorn! Best homemade jerkies (sweet n spicy is my fave). This place wasn't impressive to me. There are so many billboards for this place, we thought it was something good, and wanted to go (and we wanted to see if the bathrooms would make us smile). When we passed it up heading toward San Antonio, we thought it was more than what we thought before. When we were heading back home, towards Houston, we stopped in there. I. Was. Pissed. I expected something like a Chuck E. Cheese's, like with an arcade or something. But i was wrong. Oh so very wrong. But it is a good place to stop if you need something i guess. Like to use the bathroom or need a drink. Just if you see all of those big signs, all the way to the huge Buc-ee's store, don't get your hopes up. Been stopping here for years. Plenty of spots to gas up without a wait even on busy holidays. Amazing food selection my favorite being their BBQ sandwiches. Restrooms are very nice and always clean. Workers are always busy stocking and helping people out. Nice gift shop and plenty of other items. I will continue to stop here each time I travel past this area. read more

While I must take into consideration this was a holiday weekend I was disappointed in this Buc-ee's location. The majority of the ice makers in the soft drink area were out of service and people were waiting in line for the one operable one. This store sells an abundance of ice and ice chests. With proper management and health safety regulations they could have passed out cups of ice. read more

I can't say enough amazing things about Bucee's!! Tonight, this place really saved the day. Driving a very long time, from San Diego, we decided to stay the night in San Antonio. After arriving, we weren't able to park our uhaul and were turned away by the hotel. We decided to keep driving to Houston. Feelin tired, frustrated, and hungry, we saw the Beaver sign and couldn't help but smile. We parked and grabbed some snacks and some fresh brisket sandwiches (so good). Felt nice to walk around and do a little shopping after being a car for so long. We tailgated in the lot and played fetch with our dog. Probably the highlight of our trip! I kinda hate to give four stars to what is essentially a gigantic gas station, even if it does have a sense of humor about itself, but look. You gotta get gas somewhere, right? And there's no better place to do it on the long haul from San Antonio to Houston or New Orleans than Buc-Ee's. They do tend to overdose on their own kitsch, but the gas is as good and cheap as anywhere, the bathrooms are minty clean, their food ranges from decent to impressive (it's got the best jerky bar this side of Italy -- Italy, Texas, I mean, as i have never eaten jerky in the nation of Italy), and it has more sugar delivery vectors than the mind can comfortably conceive. The service is great, the tourist stuff is overpriced but sure to amuse your aunt, and you can kill an hour here just looking at various types of gummys. This is what they call an institution, folks, and it combines with City Market, the Watermelon Thump, the Oil Museum, and Palmetto State Park as one of the five most fun things to do in Luling. read more

Clean potties, but dinged because the place is always so crazy and getting worse. We used to stop here all the time, but not anymore. I have to practically body-check people to get to the restroom. The quality of their Kolaches has gone down, too. Last time I got one, it looked more like a Danish and didn't taste that great. Calories saved! I stopped in your Luling Tx locations and was told before even getting out of my truck !(18 wheeler parked in back lot where no vehicles were at) that I was not allowed to park. I told the guy I wanted to go in and eat but he said he did not want trucks parked there. I said "so you don't want my business or money then?" He said "no, I guess not." So I wonder, when you receive your gasoline and products in your store, how is it delivered? Do trucks deliver to your store and park on your lot while delivering? If this is your policy that the people who deliver your goods are not allowed to stop there when we traveling, then I will be glad to let all truck drivers know not to stop there and we will push to stop deliveries there as well. Truck drivers (my company) travels with bands, and different types of entertainers with many busses and trucks that could bring you big business. But we will be sure to band together and avoid this company like the plague. read more

Stopped in at the Luling Buckees to fill up the tank and experience Buckees for the first time. It was after 11PM, I had already driven 500 miles and was in need of a break. After circling the gas pumps a couple of times, I finally found one available, filled up the tank, and parked by the store. As you enter, there is a sign hanging from the ceiling displaying the minimum wages for various jobs within the store. I soon discovered that the staff is highly overpaid. Although there were many employees, few were interested in assisting me in answering questions about products and even fewer acknowledged me as a customer. The restrooms were clean and neatly decorated. Management needs to make some serious personnel decisions. read more

I had to stop for a bathroom break in Gonzales, but drove 20 more miles so I could stop at this Buccees. The bathrooms are like you would picture bathrooms in Heaven. I swear you could eat in the bathroom, drop your food and it should still be safe to eat. Did a one day round trip past Luling a week ago. Stopped at this Buccees on the way down and back, someone was cleaning the bathrooms both times. read more

I just left Buc ee's in Lulling, and was charged $1.61 for a 32 oz cup of water instead of the .53 I had be charged in the past. I tried to go the their website and call them to find out if they are only charging for the cup or the water. If it is the cup could we bring our own cup. Also their restrooms are not as great as they have been. read more

I stop twice a month on the way to Lake Charles and this place has the cleanest bathrooms & it is kept up great. The guy that owns this place is the smartest in this business because I stop & top my gas tank off & buy something in the store both ways and makes at least $60 each way just because he keeps his place clean & has great products. read more

GENERAL MANGER SHOCKED ME! The WORST customer service at any Buc-ee's I have ever stopped at. We visited the beef jerky counter, which is a regular thing for us. This time we were not helped even though the lady behind the counter, Jacqueline saw us. Another customer walked up and Jacqueline walked from the back to help her so naturally I seeked help from someone else, thinking that maybe the beef jerky bar was not her station. Well, it was. We asked to sample 3 different flavors, thinking maybe we would try something other than original this time . She gave us samples we could barely hold in our finger tips. On the second sample I asked her for a larger piece...not much bigger. Here is where I lost it, on the third sample Jacqueline rolled her eyes and shook her head. I asked her if getting samples is not a normal thing ( of course we know it is). I asked her why she rolled her eyes at me. She replied, you can, but if you thought the other one was spicy idk why you wanted to try this one. I said, "well I don't know that, hence why I'm sampling." Instead of rolling her eyes she should have said, this one is much more spicy, let me suggest this one instead. Wait folks, it gets worse. I stepped back and let my family order the rest and noticed the GENERAL MANAGER standing behind us, I asked her if she had been standing there the whole time and witnessed the interaction. She said no. I proceeded to explain how we were treated and that it was opportunity to coach Jacqueline in her customer service skills. The GENERAL MANGER (middle name, JO) brushed me off. Did not apologize or say thank you for letting her know. She simply said,"We'll take care of it." I was shocked. The general manager was more concerned in ordering for her and a cop and getting back to her conversation with the cop. At the register I asked for a good number to contact someone at the store in the morning and the girl told me to call the number on the receipt which directs you to Bucees.com. We will be stopping at Love's when we have to take this route home and get our beef jerky from the Bu-cees in New Braunfels where the staff is much more friendly and attentive. We left with $45 of beef Jerky and a bad taste in our mouth from the staff. I am so upset that I'm going above the general manager and will post this on my social media for my thousands of friends and family to see and detour them from this place. read more

I keep seeing the billboards when I was headed to Houston, TX and then on my way back I stopped without knowing that it was the gas station that was on the billboards. i entered to Buc-ee's and I was like a kid at a candy store I stayed there for almost 2hrs because I looked at everything and I bought some beaver nuggets the best. They taste like POP cereal and caramel popcorn. I bought two T-shirts. They have so much in there and I stopped to use the restroom and they are the cleaniest I have ever seen. We travel frequently between Houston and San Antonio. The Buc-ee's Luling stop is right on our way. The restrooms really are awesome, but not worth the stop. So many people and vehicles, parking is not available. Can't get to a gas pump. We used to order sandwiches, but no more. The employees behind the counter are more interested in visiting and laughing with each other than in paying attention to the orders or the service. Last time, we picked up our sandwiches after a long wait (it happened to be a Wednesday, so not so crowded), paid, and hit the road. We opened up the sandwiches to discover there was NO MEAT! My husband went to the website and tried to contact the store by email (no phone number ANYWHERE to be found), and still has not received a reply. After noticing continually deteriorating service at Buc-ee's, we will go back to the Subway on the north side of I-10. read more

WORST COFFEE IN TEXAS - and does that make any sense? Road weary travelers need good coffee - nay - DRINKable coffee to keep themselves awake. Buc-ee's - you want your customers to fall asleep on the highway and die? Serve them a coffee they won't have to spit out in disgust and throw away 10 minutes after leaving your store.
