I usually avoid reviewing fast food and chain restaurants because they tend to ressemble each other. That said, I like to highlight when a company, even a corporate giant, and a specific location, do a good job. This Seguin Starbucks is decent enough for me to come back a few times a year. Coffee and tea are prepared the Starbucks way (on the sweeter side), but the baristas do a good job and their drinks are consistent. I particularly enjoy that I never have to wait very long for my order, whether I order in advance through the app or at the counter directly. This location recently updated its furniture and they now have nice wooden tables and chairs. When it's cold out, they ramp up the heat. Unfortunately, when it's hot outside, they set the A/C to arctic mode, so I never linger too long for fear of turning into an ice cube. I appreciate that Starbucks, in spite of all its shortcomings, tries to innovate by adding new seasonal drinks. They recently added protein drinks to their menu and while they don't yet have a vegan option, it's a step in the right direction. So overall a decent place. Starbucks doesn't hold a candle to an independent local coffee shop, but when those are closed for the night, big corpo is there to serve you. That counts for something, I suppose! read more

Starbucks - Chai Latte - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Seguin, Texas

Kiddo wanted a strawberry frappe after dinner, so we decided to make a quick stop in the drive-thru. The young lady who took our order was very friendly. Placed our order and pulled up to the window. She made sure to inform hubby that the tip option was there so he had a choice to tip or not (I'll say I'm not too thrilled that Starbucks has implemented this at their stores. Especially stores that you don't have an option to select "no tip". Hubby DID leave a tip, and we waited about 3-4 minutes maybe for my son's frappe. When the lady brought it to the window, she said the barista had upgraded his drink for him. That was very kind (my guess is she made too much so had leftovers). Nobody else was in the drive thru (8pm), and seemed very quiet inside. Kiddo said the drink was "alright". Not sure if they have changed the way they make it, but he said it was drinkable ‍ read more

Nothing aggravates me more than when they basically ask for a tip before you ever get your service. Then when you get down the road, you realize they messed up your order. The only reason I stop at Starbucks anymore is for the brown sugar Cortado. I got Cortado, but no brown sugar in it. Very disappointing. read more

My husband and I went there on April 15th at about 5:25. The service was quick and the cashier was very friendly. The one star is for the drinks themselves. We ordered frappes, one mocha and one caramel. Neither of them had the syrup on the sides or top of the drinks. Hubby asked cashier for caramel and he put some on top and it didn't change the flavor profile. The mocha was just okay and the caramel was horrible. The caramel flavor tasted like watered down milk and it hadn't been blended properly as it had a lot of ice. 5 stars for the cashier and 0 stars for the person that made the drink. I rarely go there, if I return I'll be tasting my drink before I drive off. read more

Drive through service is fast and accurate. I always get a cup of ice water with my orders. Today was no different except the water at this location is horrible! I was under the impression Starbucks had filtered water. Juan Seguin wouldn't even drink this water! read more

Came here to get some homework done between my daughter's volleyball games and they won't let anyone inside. They said two people didn't show up for work and they can't handle having the inside open. Very disappointed. If I would have known that when I put my order in I would have gone to Dutch bros instead. I only ordered Starbucks to go inside. There were three people working, and hardly anyone going through the drive through. I don't know if Managment made the decision or the workers. ‍ read more

I see all of these negative reviews but I haven't had a bad experience here. The location is clean and easy to access. It is always busy when I go by but it is right next to a interstate exit and 2 large hotels. I just assumed it is busy because all of the travelers. I now order online and avoid the wait. read more

Nice Starbucks... Big place! Lots of room... good people... fast service! I was pretty happy to be able to go inside and get my coffee. They had a good selection of coffee accessories and cups. The bathrooms were clean too... always a plus! They made my 4 shot Carmel brûlée perfectly and fast! This a sure stop again next time I'm down that way! read more

20 minutes for a Venti Iced Coffee is absurd! This store completely missing the standard for drink times in store. If you're going to prioritize drive thru over in store patrons, let customers know they're going to have to wait an obscene amount of time for a simple drink! For customers: If you must stop, go through the drive thru if you want your drink in a reasonable time. read more

Today is 9/21/23. To the lady I assume was the manager this morning: I stopped in this morning to get a coffee on my way to San Antonio. As I stood there in a daze waiting for my order, you walked up to me and asked if I wanted a free breakfast sandwich. I told you that you made my whole day. You see, just an hour before, I found out that my brother-in-law died. My wife had hurried to San Antonio ahead of me and I was on my way there. I was in a fog and needed coffee. I was hungry and was not going to be able to take time to eat. It never occurred to me to try and order anything. You entered my day with the perfect gesture at the perfect time. It actually moved me to tears as I finished the drive. This is not a review of Starbucks or your shop. This is for you. Your kindness met me exactly where I needed it and it changed my day. I didn't get your name. I am sorry for that. Just know that your simple act has truly blessed me. Thank you. I pray the Lord blesses you in kind. Steve read more

I just left Starbucks just now, I usually don't have any issue with them, there usually friendly, sweet, nice an perfect, but today I left not feeling the same, I ordered a birthday cake pop an tall lemonade. The wait was super long, when I finally got to the window the last that was there, I didn't get her name but she was not nice at all she didn't speak or say anything, she was very rude, starbucks is usually sweet an friendly and uppity but not this chick, she was rude. read more

I come here often, the drive thru is typically slow but I don't mind waiting. The last time my daughter and I went inside she asked for a cake pop, specifically the one with a fly on it Luckily the food inside the display case in not edible and not to be sold. I thought it was funny but I understand not everyone has the same sense of humor and may be bothered by the display case full of flies read more

I came in here and it was pretty busy. The two baristas Madison and Rita were excellent! The here was some confusion with my teenage daughters drink as she kept telling me she wanted a blonde latte frappe. These girls made my drink multiple times to get it right. I have to say out of all the times I've been to Starbucks this has to be the worst. Costumer service was fine but the drinks taste nasty. A welcome sight after either traveling from Houston to Seguin, or just a long day in San Antonio prior to your commute to Seguin. This Starbucks location is just off of I-10 and next to Marriott's Towne Place Suites, and directly behind Chili's. While the interior confines are cozy enough to work on your electronic device or network with patrons, the drive-in situation outside is a bit interesting. Some days, it is quick. Yet on others, it can be very, very slow. Either which way, the employees that work here seem to actually enjoy being here, which is always good to see. In addition, the place is just clean all the way around. The product quality? As consistent as the sun coming up in the east, and setting in the west. That, and I appreciated the fact that I could walk from my hotel rather than abide by the awful hotel or gas station coffee. Yeah, this Starbucks is my place whenever I return to Seguin! read more

I was apprehensive about stopping here because of all the bad reviews but I really needed some coffee to finish my road trip. I was a few days ago at this Starburst and for the most part I was pleased with the visit. It's a very stylish place. There are no complaints about coffee, the only negative is that there was no almond milk. The atmosphere of the New Year, everything is decorated, so it is very festive! New year's garlands are hung in the coffee shop, there are several cute Christmas trees and festive music is playing. I can say with confidence that I will come here again. read more

Clean, shiny, and new store right off 1-10 at the Hwy 123 and FM 78 exit. I haven't been to a Starbucks in about 7 years. This new store is the only upscale coffee shop outside of downtown and is conveniently located behind a Chiles, and in front of two hotels. I went through the drive though, but I could see inside the store, and it was clean, sleek, and modern. The employees were friendly and professional. I tried their house blend, which I found to be very strong, but bitter and acidic. There was a lingering taste on my pallet for 30 minutes. I'll bet the lattes taste great. I've had some good experiences with Starbucks ground coffee from the store, especially their Verona blends and their French and Italian roasts. I do run them through my Keurig single cup maker with a my K-cup refillable cup. That machine brews an excellent cup, but usually just the darker roasts (French and Italian) come out smooth. There is a local coffee shop in downtown with the local art, musicians, and quirkiness, but when I'm near the interstate, I'll come here. Drinks: - house blend drip coffee $1.49 (bitter, strong, and acidic) 2 stars. Drips: - new store with fast drive though - friendly employees - nice outdoor seating under covered patio - seasonal lattes read more

Sweetest angels ever thanks so very much for your amazing service these Starbies employees are soooo great

Don't put in a mobile order, the dumb manager has the store always closed and will make you go through drive through which takes on a average 20 mins to get to the window to get your drink. The store is always closed and the employees work like they don't care. Horrible place, horrible management. Also the 5 star reviews look suspicious, they might have posted them themselves. read more

It took 22 minutes to get 1/2 of my mobile order. A pumpkin cold brew. Nothing fancy. They couldn't even find my order sticker and I had to show my phone to prove I did indeed pay for it. Seeing that I live literally 30 seconds from this location it has become my go to Starbucks. That being said- I'm not a huge fan of Starbucks coffee what so ever and would take Dunkin over them any day. Besides that- I do enjoy their tea and stop there pretty often for an iced green or black tea ( no classic sweetener) or recently their strawberry infused green tea. In general I find their drinks too sweet but taking out the sweeteners makes them decent enough. As far as Starbucks go this is a great location and I find that the workers are always polite and quick. If there is the occasional backup they are always apologetic and remain friendly. That being said, they often close the drive thru seemingly randomly and I find that to be a bit frustrating but I'm assuming it is due to them being under staffed? Who knows. Besides that it is a typical Starbucks location with consistent drinks and friendly service. I'll always be a Dunkin fan when it comes to coffee but as far as tea and the occasional specialty drink ( ombré pink drink, green tea soy latte etc) they're pretty good. read more

This has got to be the slowest coffee shop of all Starbucks and all local places I have ever been to. No matter what time of day you go, you will wait in the drive thru line a minimum of 10 minutes. 10 minutes being if there is ONE car in front of you and up to 30 minutes if there is more than 5 cars. This has to by FAR be the worst Starbucks in the entire country. The drive thru wait is always absolutely insane, they run out of stuff far too often, and can't come up with good solutions to either problem, despite the fact that both should have a pretty simplistic solution. When a customer waits for 45 minutes in line to even order at the drive thru because they have a cold and want a specific drink, they should be able to get it. Especially when the ingredients are staple tea shop ingredients. Absolutely will never return to this location and I don't honestly believe they deserve to be in business. read more

I really like this Starbucks! The staff is always friendly and most of the time remember who you are. However, the added value of Starbucks for me is a can get the egg bites (I do keto) but they tend to be out of the egg bites when I go on a constant bases. I usually get Starbucks when I am on the run so I usually get breakfast that matches my diet. When they are out it throws off my whole food plan for the day.
