There's tons of parking and lots of pumps. I was traveling with my baby for the first time so having space away from everyone while we settled into what we needed to do was perfect. We grabbed the very last pump and no one was near us, which let us take our time. The bathrooms are large and we used a big handicap stall which had a changing table AND sink in it. It would be helpful if they had a sign noting that as it's very much a family stall (not just handicap) Overall a good Buc-ee's and a great stop

I was like, "Um, ok, what's that about?" I got home and looked it up. I found out it was Texan company. Then I decided I wanted to visit the biggest Buc-ee's in the Lone Star State. We landed in San Antonio and rented a car. Thankfully it didn't have a California license plate. We drove to Luling on our way to Austin. We pulled into the Buc-ee's parking lot. We saw the gas prices. Gas in Texas is more affordable than Washington State. Took a photo with the metal critter in front of the entrance then made our way into the store. Spacious, busy. Bathroom was clean. We picked up some brisket sandwiches and some sodas. Food is more affordable in Texas. We also bought some souvenirs to take back home including a red shirt with the beaver.

As soon as I saw Circle K, figured this was good enough. Thankfully their service and store went above and beyond "good enough". I was impressed! I don't think this place was here a year ago. Glad they're here now…read more This is almost a mini Bucee's, (which by the way is a couple of miles down I10 East). It is stocked with all things snack, sodas, beer, bottled water, chips, trail mixes of all flavors, Icees, etc. It also has a hot food counter - hot dogs, sausage, pastries and more. Of course, expect to pay convenience store prices. But hey, that's what they're here for - convenience. And they have gas pumps and a place for 18-wheelers to park out of the way. They have a plethora of clean restrooms with hot air dryers. They are located at I10 East and the cutoff road to Lockhart. Go there when in the area.

We had just barely made it past Bucee's when one of the kiddos asked us for a potty break so this was the next exit or so past it. The bathrooms were just as clean and we didn't have to fight to find a parking spot or a bathroom stall. The coffee was hot and tasty and the cashier was very friendly. Once she got the hubbs talkin Texans they were practically BFF's! I'd stop here again.

However, in the event of an issue or malfunction, the clerks, or on-site management, are powerless to assist a customer that paid for a car wash outside of the store (at the kiosk before entering said car wash). It also seems that in the event of a fail to complete the wash cycle malfunction, operators are quick to attribute the malfunction to the driver. The instructions, as posted, were followed and yet, the malfunction still occurred. We called the number as posted on the sign, and received a voicemail. The number, as it turns out, is to some sort of main office in Brenham, and the recording was of such poor quality, I have no idea for whom I left the voicemail. No call-back has been received as of the time of this post.

Okay, so this was a weird experience…read more I was basically driving in a trance, having left the house at 5:00AM to drop off one of my girls at the Austin airport and then heading to Harlingen. I was on day three of being really sick, and I had gotten very little sleep that night because of all the sinus pain. I was blindly following the GPS and came upon this gas station/convenience store out in the middle of nowhere and decided to pull in at the rear of the place and sleep for a while. I don't even know if the place was open; it was still dark when I got there. I woke up and it was daylight. I needed something to drink, so I pulled around to the front of the place, parked crookedly and shuffled in. I saw they had breakfast tacos and realized I was hungry, too. I picked two random ones, bought them and left. One was brisket, the other was some mixture of eggs, potatoes, beans, bacon, sausage, cheese and whatever else they could think of to throw into it. The brisket didn't look great, so I set it aside and took a bite of the stuffed one. It was really, really good. So, I tried the brisket. Now, I have to say, if I bought a brisket plate and this is what they brought me, I'm not sure how I'd feel about it. But, as a taco (basically, just meat in a flour tortilla), it was absolutely delicious. I will say they were a bit on the pricey side. The two tacos and a 20 oz bottle of Diet Dr. Pepper was over $16. But, both of those tacos rank up there with the best I've had.
