Buc-ee's is an absolute playground especially after a long day of driving. I love the fresh made items, especially the burritos and tacos. Their tortillas are perfectly cooked and so soft. I also love their coffee bar -- it's great to be able to control just how much milk you'd like in your coffee. The iced coffee is on the light side, perhaps a bit watered down by the ice. They also have a plethora of dessert options. We tried the banana pudding and it was absolutely perfect. I know banana pudding abounds in the south, but they are one of the most generously portioned and consistently delicious banana pudding options.
Amarillo by afternoon stop on our way back east. We're hungry for a late lunch. It's quick stop to grab our favorite barbecue tasty fares and chicken and fries. Oh yes, picking up a refreshing fruit bowl too. We fueled up the truck at their convenience fuel station. This place is a one stop for everything. It's a must stop and highly recommended.
If your not from here, this should be on your to-do list. If your about 30 min out, its worth it. I drove 2 hours to come by lunch and snacks. Im from Cali, so this is a treat. I mean they make the food fresh, roasted nuts if different kinds( my fav are the cashews). This is the place yo buy souvenirs for sure. Bathrooms are always clean, staff always nice, many cashiers to help, you never really gave to wait. Plenty of pumps. This is a must for travelers.
Stopped here to meet the new owners of one of our foster dogs who now lives in Texas. This is one of the newest in Texas and simple huge. Everything about Buc-ee's is great and they are consistent. Plenty of gas pumps, lots of grass areas for dogs, and huge extremely clean restrooms. They have delicious and great variety of food, drink and, snacks, and of course tons of merchandise. Staff is friendly, helpful and personable.
The biggest Bucees I've seen to date! I lost count of how many pumps, but ample parking spaces near the store. Today they were popping out brisket and pulled pork, fried chicken sandwiches, taco, burritos, etc to keep up with the influx of customers. There were alot of people, as it normally is at a Bucees. The cashier was running two registers to keep the lines down and they were yelling their welcomes as every person walked through the doors. Restrooms were spotless and shelves were stocked. There was no lack of goodies. Bucee himself was there giving out waves and hugs! Getting out of the parking lot took some time but eventually we did and eventually we were on the road again. Just please be patient and kind, the Texas way!
I never drive past Buc-ee's without stopping. You just can't find food like this back in California. The place is huge, super clean, and the food is on another level. I highly recommend trying the brisket here. It's insanely good and honestly impossible to stay neutral about. Great food, great stop, and totally worth the visit every time.

This may be my favorite Buc-ee's after trying a bunch through a short stay in the area. The customer service is on point. The gas wasn't half-bad price wise. The store had a nice flow to it without it being extra confusing. We did have to cut things short after we ended up in a softball sized hail warning. We shall return! read more

Passing by Amarillo TX and had to come by Buc-ee's to see what all the hype was about. Such a cute place with lots to explore! So many great variety of snacks and food. You can definitely spend more than an hour exploring here. read more

This place is no mere gas station. There is so much merch with the mascot on it. The bbq was unreal! Had a brisket sandwich, chicken fingers and fries, and candied pecans. All for the food was really good! Hope to get back next time I am driving through. read more

I never drive past Buc-ee's without stopping. You just can't find food like this back in California. The place is huge, super clean, and the food is on another level. This was our third Buc-ee's on our roadtrip and we came here at 2:30am! I love that they are open that late because there was no wait for anything! Easy to get gas and snacks before continuing with no huge crowds of people.we love Buc-ee's and this made the trip that much more fun! read more

Conveniently located close to the airport, so we stopped to grab some lunch. I got chicken burrito and beaver chips. Appreciated how cheesy the chicken burrito was. Always an easy place to stop as there are so many options so everyone can get what they want. read more

Everything we could wish for our first Buc-ee's experience. We really enjoyed the Korean bbq beef jerky. We bought the brisket sandwich and beast breakfast burrito. Super delicious for breakfast and lunch. The banana pudding was 5/5 - I recommend it! Made a vanilla latte for myself which was perfect for our road trip. read more

I have literally never heard of Buc-ee's like ever and my husband pumped me up about it way before I even looked it up, so I was excited to check it out. I guess Buc-ee's is a big deal out here for tourists. It's basically a fancy truckstop and a must for us out of towners. There's something for everyone in the family so make sure to bring everyone! There's tons of gas pumps outside so you know you won't have a wait time, but that's not all!! They have everything you need inside for your trip. We mainly came to check out the food... as always! ;-) Food did not disappoint! The brisket was really good and I highly recommend the brisket breakfast burrito! It's sooo good! Even the tortilla was bomb, it tasted homemade and it was warmed up properly. If you're in a rush to grab a few items, this is not the place for you. You need to be able to look around to get a good glance. I will definitely come back, but the next time I need to slow it down a notch because I was extremely overwhelmed and over stimulated that I did not know where to start and what to get. Me, my son and my husband went our separate ways since we all got distracted, but we all ended up getting a little bit of everything. My advice to you is not to go on an empty stomach like us because we grabbed everything and anything as soon as we walked in and from the time we walked out. read more
I'm a total Buc-ee's snob! My boyfriend created a monster when he brought me here the first time a couple months ago on a roadtrip to Chicago. Now I'm hooked & cannot wait for the Goodyear, Arizona location to be built & opened! They have so much to see here & this store is very clean, organized, & well stocked. Also the friendliest people! The brisket sandwich is a must try! If you love beef jerky then you'll enjoy the jerky here, as it's the best around! They offer everything from snacks to outdoor gear. Be sure to grab yourself a Buc-ee's souvenir as well! read more
Nice normal bucees. This one has a large mural in the back. The lady that walked around with the bucees mascot gave free stickers! This is what you expect in a bucees, not really in the mascot and stickers part. That's kind of rare.... For me at least read more

I absolutely 100% recommend Buc-ees at all times. I get so excited flying to Texas (yes I know the are in some other areas) because I know I will get to go to this truck stop. Is it ever a stop for me just for gas? UH No. Listen want clean bathrooms this place always sets the standard. There are drink walls (yep drinks for entire walls) including 4-5 fountain type stations and then cooler cases. There are barbecue areas with a ton of fresh options (brisket, pork, chicken, etc etc etc), fresh jerky counter (think meat counter but just for their jerky - try Bohemian Garlic and Steakhouse they are amazing), hot nuts areas (yep they actually roast and rotate the nuts themselves), fudge counter, snacks walls and candy walls. Pretty much any snack you want they have. I LOVE their rice krispy treats and cookie dough bites as well, They have pickle packs, lunch meat packs (think snackables for adults), crackers, chips etc. They also have sundries and then an entire half of the store is also gifts and fun things to get for others or yourself to remember the area you are in and/or get gifts for others. They also have a whole outdoor area to get camping etc supplies. Service is also always amazing. Need something just ask. My only complaint is that they don't allow Semi's. I guess I kinda understand why but also not really. If the root cause is a messy area then address that. Don't prevent the truckers from this amazing store. Something to think about ... read more

My first buc-ees!! This place is huge and the gas prices are so affordable. I love the hype. I even got to see buc-cee's mascot in person. What a lovely surprise. Of course, you can't leave without a buc-cee souvenir! read more
Recommend: UHHFREAKINGMAZING!! Buc-ees has MASTERED the Rest Stop. Period. This ENTIRE enterprise is way, way above expectations, quality, cleanliness, FRIENDLINESS, and designed with purpose. I can not identify a single, solitary deficiency in this business. So with that, let's compliment their positives. BTW, this is my first Buc-ee's! -PROPERLY spaced drive lanes into, out of and all around the fuel pumps and in general around the parking lot. -Swag for everyone, every kind including all military branches. -Fresh food, sandwiches, salads, snacks of a billion variances, food to go, epic pastries, POUNDS of jerky, Icees to freeze your brain or 10 stations of coffee for the long road; what EVER you need; it's here. -Restrooms are stunningly, perfectly organized, with sanitizer EVERYWHERE and all very well lit. -Baby changing stations automated stalls, sinks and paper towel machines. The eagerness of the Staff to welcome you in even if they're transacting with someone else is a warm touch. This business is smartly designed, wide walkways and Buc-ees Swag everywhere, on everything and on any candy and of course all jerky. There is nothing, hear me, 'nothing' wrong with the platform, variety and stock of items at this fuel stop. It's extremely clean, organized and staffed with people everywhere. Highly, hiGHLY, recommend a visit. This particular location isn't a year old but between the build, upkeep and management, this is THE PINNACLE for a rest/fuel stop in America. They even have painted Interstate signs in the parking lot, on the pavement showing you how to get back to the Interstate!! Job well done Buc-ees!! read more
Wow! Huge new Buc-ee's way out west. This oasis of rest is a great place to stop. The reputation for the cavernous, impeccably clean restrooms is spot on. Any possible treat of food you could want, and the food is good. Then there's all the other merch. Just a fun stop for people (large trucks need not even try to enter the lot). read more
First time stopping at Buc-ees. First of all, clean bathrooms which is a huge bonus for any stops on a road trip. We didn't try any food but obviously a million gas pumps, lots of food options and endless souvenirs. I ended up getting a few souvenirs to take home! I grabbed a few chapsticks, playing cards, coffee mug and some dog treats. Very cute place read more

I have to say the store itself can be overwhelming. But we went in and bought the brisket sandwiches and beef jerky! Delicious! Worth the money! Those employees who helped us very helpful! Definitely if ever by one again we will stop! read more
1st time at this location, 2nd Buc-ee's ever visited. They do not disappoint. All locations pretty much have the same lay-out, some just have more gas pumps than others (at least 100 pumps). Fuel was only $2.479/gal during my visit so I had more $ for snacks. They also have a big grassy area for dogs to do their business in. Staff greeted us as soon as we walked in and they do give free samples for their jerky ($29.99/lb) but worth it to have good snacks when on a road trip. Plenty of clean restrooms as well. They have tons of selections for snacks, candies, souvenirs, clothing, etc. It's a One-Stop Shop, no wonder everyone loves Buc-ee's! read more
So I live in Oklahoma and just recently started seeing billboards in OKC for this new Buc-ees location in Amarillo! I'm roadtripping for spring break, so I got to stop! It's just like all of the other locations I've been. Huge. Plenty of gas pumps and nice bathrooms. I picked up some snacks for the road. I have to stop if I pass a buc-ees, so I'll likely be back! read more
This is like the Walmart of gas stations and is so cool!!! So many things to choose from. From snacks, to lunch, to dessert, to gifts you name it and you can find it at Buc-ee's! We picked up some gifts while we were visiting Texas and even found ones for our dogs! The store was extremely clean and so were the bathrooms. Highly recommend a stop into Buc-ee's next time you pass through! read more

I'd heard of Buc-ee's but this was my first experience. Wow huge. The gas pumps probably around 70 of them then we went inside to look around came out with $60 worth of junk food LOL. They had clothes and electronics and all kinds of stuff but we just got some snacks their chicken fingers and fries were pretty good and got some fudge and chips and jerky they had a lot of different variety of everything. I think they are building one of these about an hour from where we live I'm excited. Loves truck stop used to be my go-to place for snacks for road trips but this this will take it. Buc-ee's - Amarillo, TX Stopped at Buc-ee's right off I-40 in Amarillo while heading west on my trip, and it was everything I love about this place. First off -- the restrooms. Super clean, as always. Buc-ee's sets the standard there. Inside, it's like an amusement park for fast-food and convenience store fans. They've got so much stuff you never see in a regular gas station or even some gift shops -- from their own branded beef jerky and unique-flavor popcorn, to brisket sandwiches, breakfast tacos, and every kind of snack you can think of. The food? Let's be honest -- it's the "good but bad for you" kind, and that's exactly why I love it. Perfect road-trip fuel. They also have tons of merch -- shirts, plushies, souvenirs -- and it's all Buc-ee's branded. I even stopped again on the way back home, because I can't pass up a Buc-ee's when I'm in Texas. We don't have them in Oklahoma where I'm from, so whenever I see one, I'm in. Five stars all the way. Buc-ee's is a must-stop if you're driving through Texas. read more
OMG. I've heard about Buckys for years, but this was my first opportunities to stop by. Not only they smoke their own meats and have fresh hot sandwiches but they have a jerky bar with about 15 different types of beef jerky. Prices are very fair and service is absolutely incredible. We went there today normally we have a good experience, but today was terrible, we bought two brisket sandwiches and that's what they were brisket sandwiches, then we purchased two Brisket burritos on the wrapper read brisket burritos and we thought they were all brisket like the sandwiches, but no.... only a couple pieces of brisket including a piece of or two of fat, rice and a ton of beans and some sort of liquid cheese. When I took this back to the store to exchange it for the brisket sandwiches they would not honor a return, saying I should have read the label, when it clearly reads brisket burrito here are two pictures of what their brisket burrito looks like. They are 1,000% disgusting so now I'm out over $17 and I'm not very happy right now I made a complaint with corporate but I'm sure nothing will get done. read more
