Dear Manager of Toot'n Totum, I am writing to share a very disappointing experience I had at the Wendy's located inside your Toot'n Totum store. I hope you will take my concerns seriously and address them with your team I regularly stop at this store charge my Tesla and eat while it's charging, so this experience was very disappointing. At Wendy's The guy who preparing the hamburger dropped my wrapped hamburger on the floor. I saw it happen, and I had to ask for a fresh one. My fries were cold, had been sitting out with flies around them, and when I politely asked for fresh fries, So Fatuma ( the Cashier ) became aggressive and started throwing fries around. I was there with my two young children, and her behavior made us feel uncomfortable. And unsafe. Specifically when I'm with 2 little one with me. At the point I feel that she will throw me some hot food on me. Mistakes happen, but this was handled very unprofessionally. I hope management addresses these food safety and customer service concerns. read more

This place is outstanding. Huge parking lot for semis, RVs, any size Motorhomes, & cars. The BBQ place Mitch's is the place to eat. This is a family rest area, restaurant, truck stop, gas station all in one. Easy to get to right off the interstate. Nice RV park right behind it (Over Nite RV). There is a very large parking area for many vehicles. Very well lighted, open, as safe as it can get. Gas prices were reasonable. Building was clean I normally don't rate place like this, but it was too awesome not to speak about it. Staff were great. read more

Stumbled onto T'nT simply for a decent gasoline price while road tripping. In this part of West TX they seem to be the newer truck stop. That said after pumping my vehicle full my wife says we're eating BBQ. Hmm- Mitch's BBQ to be exact. Decent brisket sandwich with sides of fried okra and baked chips. They also have a Wendy's at this facility. It's obviously newer than the regular truck stop type establishments, a little better tech and layout vs others in my mind. Everything new and clean. While I would not suggest going out of my way for the BBQ since it's a gas n grub I would say give it a try if both your vehicle tank and your gut are empty. I think you'll like it! read more

This was a great spot to stop. We came here to super charge and were very impressed. Clean bathrooms, food to eat, some shopping and even a play place for the little ones to get their wiggles out. Everyone was very nice. Would put this stop on my next road trip. read more

Recently opened, this place has all of your traveling needs. Plenty of pumps, a huge convenience store with a Wendy's and a Mitch's Texas Style bbq attached. The bbq must be good because the line was out to the door for it. They also have a spectacular dog park separated from the station with its own parking. It has Astro turf, is well fenced and away from traffic. It was exactly what we needed for our road weary pups. Next to the dog park is a bunch of shaded picnic tables and a play area for kids. This place is the perfect road trip stopping point. read more

Surprise! I always thought that Maverick gas stations were the bomb. These places are neat clean and full of helpful happy people! Well stocked and a huge selection of road trip goodies! On top of that, they'll prepare a hot snack for you! read more

On the way into town we stopped at the TA which was a terrible experience. I said I'd never go there again if I didn't have to. On the way out my significant other suggested stopping so I was on the hunt for a better experience -- and I found this gem! Love this place! CLEAN, friendly staff, well stocked with variety (even found plant based jerky!), and reasonably priced. It's been open about 8 months or so and there's definitely a positive vibe I haven't experienced at other truck stops. Wish I would have snapped a pic of the Trucker's Lounge, but didn't see it until I was on my way out the door; it had big screen TVs and comfortable looking recliners. There's a Wendy's which looked like it had a drive through and a Mitch's Texas BBQ that looked amazing. The store layout was nice and was trucker friendly with a designated area and cashier. Showers available for purchase. The exterior of the facility was clean with good access points. The parking lot was well lit and felt safe. We even stayed the night and slept well. There's a Tesla charging station section. A nice little dog park and children's play area. There were lots of patrons, but it wasn't crowded or inconvenient. I travel between the heart of Texas and the heart of Colorado about every two weeks. Along my travels I have to frequent many a truckstop and rest stop for rest and sanity. Upon my last trip I swore it was to be the last. Every time I visit a Love's or Pilot, there are 15 employees not doing anything. Odd smells and random noises. Really chaotic and you never really feel comfortable. NOW HOLD UP - I walked into the Toot'n Totum in Amarillo and decided I will be making a few more trips back-and-forth. Understaffed - they were still incredibly helpful. Everything was clean. Very calming. The lounge has an excess of lounge chairs and charging ports. There's TVs and an overall very welcoming environment. Food selection is nice. Thoughtful product selection. Useful and inviting. I'm gonna get me a poncho. And they even let me park my bike safely out of the way of the truckers. read more

While on a road trip from our home in Oklahoma to Northern California. We stopped at this gas station purely because I had downloaded the app & had .20 cents off per gallon. My boyfriend first had gone in but found out his reward had expired. I went in & they scanned my phone, payment was made. We thought all was good. Sadly once we went out to pump gas the discount on the price was not showing. I was told that the store could not help us & we had to call the customer service for the app. Mind you this was at 11:42PM & customer service closed at 5pm. At this point the pump froze so we couldn't even pump. We ended up leaving. Honestly the entire situation wouldn't of been all that bad but for the lack of customer service from the male manager. He flat out of ignored me & didn't seem to have the knowledge you would expect from one having a managers job title. On the bright side two younger kids tried to help despite it not being their assigned post. So thank you to those young boys for trying their best to help out. read more
