I hope you will take my concerns seriously and address them with your team I regularly stop at this store charge my Tesla and eat while it's charging, so this experience was very disappointing. At Wendy's The guy who preparing the hamburger dropped my wrapped hamburger on the floor. I saw it happen, and I had to ask for a fresh one. My fries were cold, had been sitting out with flies around them, and when I politely asked for fresh fries, So Fatuma ( the Cashier ) became aggressive and started throwing fries around. I was there with my two young children, and her behavior made us feel uncomfortable. And unsafe. Specifically when I'm with 2 little one with me. At the point I feel that she will throw me some hot food on me. Mistakes happen, but this was handled very unprofessionally. I hope management addresses these food safety and customer service concerns.

This is a family rest area, restaurant, truck stop, gas station all in one. Easy to get to right off the interstate. Nice RV park right behind it (Over Nite RV). There is a very large parking area for many vehicles. Very well lighted, open, as safe as it can get. Gas prices were reasonable. Building was clean I normally don't rate place like this, but it was too awesome not to speak about it. Staff were great.

Fuel was cheaper than anticipated: Regular unleaded = $2.70 Unleaded plus = $3.10 Premium unleaded = $3.40 Diesel = $4.27 I'd stop here again. It was pouring down rain just before Amarillo and sprinkling in this area. Was nice to have the extra tall overhead roof to help block the elements while I checked my vehicle during its gas-gulpling session. Well-lit at night. We had just left a nearby hotel on our way back to Colorado from Florida. Lot of trash blowing around. Could have been from the wind but it seemed like this location just collects trash. Maybe that's from the wind tunnel effect and location below/beside the highway? They have a convenience store with the usual essentials. So many pumps were out of commission or broken though so it made it hard to even find one open for gas. Hopefully since this review they've been fixed. Everything was a little dirty and dingy so I think I'll skip this spot next time. It was real close to the hotel but plenty of other gas stations on either side of the highway over this.

This is the primo Supercharger location in Amarillo for many reasons, but mostly due to the higher kW rating. It's at the NE corner of S. Lakeside Drive & I-40, exit 75. For those who don't bother reading up on best practices: You can minimize your time charging if you can avoid sharing a circuit with another Tesla... for example, if someone is charging at 1A-D, use 2 or 3 A-D. The supercharge.info website is also really helpful for cross-country trip planning. Find the stalls in the SW corner of the parking lot of the combined Valero gas station, Toot 'n Totum convenience store, and Wendy's fast food store. All facilities are new and well maintained. Nice! It looks like the management made an effort to accommodate all kinds of travelers with special areas for RV gas pumps, a children's playground, and even a dog park. Adding 24 hour access to clean restrooms forces the 5 star review. Don't trust Tesla Nav to exit back to I-40 eastbound. It wants you to go west along the westbound frontage road to the next U-turn passage under I-40. You can easily avoid this lengthy backtrack by driving around the back side of the convenience store to Lakeside Drive, and then south under the interstate to the eastbound frontage road and then the eastbound I-40 on-ramp. I've supercharged at three other Amarillo locations over the last few years. Two of them are no longer listed on supercharge.info, and I don't know why. My favorite used to be near my favorite restaurant. I can't imagine them being removed, so it's a mystery. As of 2023, this location might become my new go-to, because the supercharger on the west side of town has only 150kW stalls.
