Let me Start by saying, this Bubbles has very nice & welcoming stylist & other workers, that make you feel very comfortable & calm ( especially if you were in a hair crisis, like I was) My stylist name was Blake & she was absolutely AAHHMMAZZINNGG!!! Before my appt I had did my research & stumbled along her Instagram acct. And I needed someone who not only could color great, but also specialized in cutting & styling. Since I had mid length hair, & wanted to get a textured Bob cut, & color, I did my homework. And she had amazing pictures of her work. And I messaged her and explained my hair 911 situation & Blake was very truthful, thoughtful, & told me to prepare myself if she couldn't get it the way I wanted, which I was. I wanted to be scheduled in before Xmas Eve, mind you I called her on a Tuesday. And she was booked, but she made my hair wish come true, and fitted me in the day after Christmas. And let me say, she did a Christmas miracle to my hair! I ended up having to cut it shorter than what I wanted, (it was pretty damaged & had a big ol' knot in my hair, that she ended up having to cut out) hence why I said before I had to prepare myself if we had to cut it out & go shorter & that's why I was in a hair crisis. Besides that, the color came out beautifully, I wanted to get more of a Pulp Riot magenta color, but during my consult, she explained since my hair was damaged it was best to do an all over color, which I did a red, instead of adding more damage, & she suggested future appointments we could go the color route I wanted to go. Which I'm very pleased with her being truthful & not just telling me what I wanted to hear. All in all, Blake is a wonderful, sweet, woman, and indeed, very GOOD at her job! I definitely recommend her to anyone wanting to get there hair done, as for myself, I now have a permanent hair stylist. And made a new friend as well! The salon itself took the Covid situation very seriously & they abided by the rules. For anyone who has concerns on that. Blake actually gave me hand sanitizer as I sat down before we started. I am new to the DC area and was looking for a quality place to get my hair done. I had my hair chopped horribly short and butchered in the back and have since been growing it out, however the process has left me looking like I have a reverse mullet, very attractive. I also had made the mistake of box coloring my hair blonde, and although I am not quite happy with it, I decided just to start out with a cut and if happy with the service I would schedule another appointment to work on my color. Since I had no idea where to go I google searched hair salons and came across bubbles. After reading reviews which were very mixed I decided to give it a shot, after all I wasnt doing anything too drastic. My overall experience was more than I expected. Nicole was very pleasant and listened to everything I had to say about what I did and did not like about my current hair situation. She spoke to the knowledge about my hair type and what was working for me and what was not. She clearly knew what she was doing and I was extremely pleased when she asked me at one point if I had any questions about my hair or concerns in general which led me to ask about coloring. She talked about a few different options and told me what she did with her hair (which was the color I was going for)! And recommended two different products which would take the brassyness out of my hair. Needless to say I love my look now and will deffinately be booking a follow up! read more

Love this place! After a hair nightmare about a year ago (different place), I spent weeks searching for a stylist that I could trust. I read through hundreds of reviews and decided to take a chance on Tabitha. SO HAPPY I DID! My first visit was ~3 months ago. I got full highlights, cut + blow dry. Tabitha was super professional and took great care of my hair especially after I told her how it was thinning. A few days following my first the store manager called to check in and see how I was liking my hair. I thought that was a very nice touch as it can sometimes take a few days to decided on whether you like a hair change or not. I returned to the salon again today (7/5/19) to get full highlights again, except this time I asked for a slightly ashier shade of blond and Tabitha nailed it again! I went to Bubbles today for my first professional hair-coloring. I got full highlights done by Samina. She was very hard-working and took her time. I loved the job that she did, but the color wasn't as prominent as I'd wanted. When I talked to the salon about the issue they were very reasonable and booked me another appointment, free of charge, to fix it. I'm very happy with the job that was done and the salon's customer service. When I went back they lifted some of the color out of my hair. The end results were exactly as I wanted. I've returned for more highlights, different stylist as I was a walk-in, and I'm very happy with how everything turned out. read more

HUGE shoutout to Jamie!!! I was nervous to come here after reading the reviews but decided to try it anyways after a bad experience from the other annapolis location. I made an appointment for a simple cut and blow dry and Jamie did not disappoint! She listened to what I wanted and did an amazing job!!! The salon in general is clean and open and has a great selection of retail products to pick from. Highly recommend coming here and make sure to ask for Jamie. read more

Stay far away, they hire from the bottom of the barrel. The salon itself is not kept particularly clean, something I only noticed after my hair was already washed - that the sinks were kind of gross. The stylist was nice enough but she did an awful job on my roots - which should be a simple task. The color was baaaad. If they cannot manage an easy task like that I shudder to think what would happen with bleach or scissors.... read more

Cassidy is AMAZING! She always listens to what I want, gets as close, if not exact, to the pictures that I show her. She takes her time to make sure everything is perfect before I leave the salon and she only cuts the amount that I ask (even if I needed more ). See the pictures of a fall look she did for me. I grew up in Annapolis and have never been able to find a good stylist there until now! Lauren Martin does the best haircut and she is great at color too. I highly recommend her! She also cut my boyfriend's hair and it looks perfect. Would recommend for men's cuts as well! read more

As a guy sometimes it can be hard to find a place that doesn't over charge but gets a good haircut. Lauren Martin did a great job and was super easy to talk to, both while explaining what I wanted and just chatting. Will definitely be back, couldn't recommend her enough!! read more

Ellie is my hair stylist and I have gone through about 50 and she is THE BEST so far I have had to change my hair from a vibrant blue to a solid brown (for work purposes) and she did an amazing job then again to an amazing blonde and brown. Highly recommend seeing her. read more
