Facial treatment was an amazing experience - Maria tailored it to my skin type and made my skin feel and look incredible. Her shoulder and neck massage was on point too. Will be returning! read more

Moved into Maryland from Virginia and it always feels so hard finding a new salon in your area but I am so happy to have found Sadona! I had a consult first with Zaida and we confirmed the change I wanted to do with my hair and then 2 weeks later she made it happen and i'm obsessed! My hair feels so healthy and it's only been two days and I've gotten so many compliments. Can't wait to go to her from now on and definitely try out some spa treatments soon too! read more

Sadona Salon + Spa - love the color and my money pieces :) - Hair Salons Near Me - Annapolis, Maryland

I had a wonderful afternoon at Sadona Salon + Spa which included a massage, facial and pedicure. The massage was done by Rachel and the facial and pedicure were done by Zaida. It was a blissful experience performed in a calming and zen-like atmosphere. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! read more

Service was awesome. I got lost because West St. was closed off, then had a major downpour. I called and they talked me through until I got into Gotts parking lot. Quality awesome. I had CBD massage. Wonderful! Pedicure after massage -all good!! read more

Had a 30 minute facial with a scalp massage and foot massage add on. The facilities are top notch. Spa room with privacy, lockers, and tea before and after. Service overall was lovely and pleasant. Donna was amazing - she took time to review my skin before starting and customizing the facial. It felt magical. The add ons were absolutely worth it and capped off a fantastic afternoon. Can't wait to book again. read more

This is a beautiful treat yourself place! My sister and I made a last minute Five element facial and it was glorious!! Our aesthecian Samantha was so kind and patient. She took extra time to get the blackheads out of my nose and even pluck my eyebrows. Samantha said that the five element facial which is one hour long is the best for combination skin because she can make recommendations on what is best for my skin. If I went the anti-aging route, then she could only use that line. This place is located right off West St, very close to downtown Annapolis. The place is super cute and has a place to relax in super comfy robes and you can drink tea. Parking might be an issue but I got lucky and found a spot right out front. It is pricey but once again you have remind yourself that it is a "treat yo self" kinda place. Can't wait to come back! read more

I went to another salon and got an absolutely horrible haircut. I called Sadona in tears and they got me in the same day. The receptionist was so sympathetic. Kate did an absolute miracle on the hair I had left. I won't go anywhere else for my hair again. read more

My youngest daughter has her first haircut here and it was a fun experience. Jennifer was kind and patient, answering all of her questions and making her feel special! Thank you! read more

Sadona Salon + Spa - Her styled haircut...she loved it! - Hair Salons Near Me - Annapolis, Maryland

Samantha was fantastic! Her graceful hands provided a thorough, pleasant, calming yet invigorating experience. She pays attention to detail and had perfect hand pressure. The facial involved silky soap, scrubs, extractions, a mask, etc, and she gave a arm, neck, and shoulder massage. Absolutely awesome 60 minutes of my life. read more

I was beyond thrilled with the service I received here. I had my haircut in Colorado (at a different salon) right before a trip to Annapolis to see our daughter at the Naval Academy and it was terrible. And I had no time to fix it. So I made a same day appointment here and my only complaint is that I can't pick up this salon and bring it home with me. The service and the haircut was AMAZING, especially considering it was a difficult fix. I was comfortable from the time I walked in to the time I left. The price was very competitive and the atmosphere is very sophisticated and pleasant. Even though they knew I was from out of town I still had wonderful service and extra time spent. If I lived closer I wouldn't ever go anywhere else. Thanks for making my day!! read more

I scheduled my bridal appointment here thinking it would be relaxing to get my hair done at a salon. Did a trial the weekend before and felt like we connected. I changed my mind about the style I wanted right before the wedding day because of the weather and called ahead to give her a head's up. When I showed up I got nothing but snarky comments the entire time. It turned out horrible and she said there was nothing she could do to fix it. (If you need proof, look at the photo which was taken before I left the salon.) Soooo many regrets about the whole thing, especially how much I paid (and I tipped in advance). read more

I was in Annapolis for a work event. All of us ladies spent the morning receiving different services. We were all overjoyed with our experiences. This spa was fabulous! Quaint location and gracious staff ready to pamper you from the moment you walk in. I had the pleasure of receiving a facial from Samantha. She was wonderful! I haven't felt so relaxed in a long time. She guided me through choosing my products and sent me home with recommendations on keeping my skin healthy. Highly recommend giving this spa a try. You won't be disappointed. read more

I just got a great beach wave perm. It was my first time at Sadona and I was pleased that they were friendly and my appointment was on time.

Had the best pedicure of my life! Zadia is amazing--very skilled, kind and nice. Worth every penny.

I treated myself to a massage and facial for my birthday and it was 100% worth it! I had a massage with Rachel then a Vitamin C facial with Samantha; both were excellent and took great care to make sure I was comfortable and relaxed. The spa is lovely and the staff are kind and welcoming; the services are top notch. I appreciate a great spa/spa day and Sadona did not disappoint. I highly recommend going there! read more

This review is for the salon services only not the spa. I got my hair highlighted and cut here and I couldn't be more upset! I'll start with the highlights. The stylist never asked me how much lighter I would like to go. NEVER, one question. Other stylists always ask about how you like your highlights and what look you are going for. Not one question! She just started foiling away. The color is way too bright and almost an orange blonde. Awful. This is going to cost a fortune to fix and time to grow out. They also charge to tone your hair. I have never had a salon charge me to tone my hair. They did tell me over the phone they might but I thought that's never happened and sure enough they have you in the shampoo bowl and are like is it okay if I use a toner you need it. Your color didn't pull like it normally does. I'm like what?!?! So now I have to decide? I can't even see my hair. How crummy. Next the cut, I received a terrible, sloppy and uneven cut. I originally asked to go a little shorter (my hair was at my bra Line in back) but pointed out that I definitely did not want a short cut and showed where I didn't want it to be at. I even showed her 2 photos. I asked for longer in the front and it's not. I pointed out that I was unhappy and nervous about how it was turning out and the stylist told me it was longer in the front. I told her I was very upset and she just said, "I am sorry I don't want you to be upset" and kept saying let me cut it shorter to fix it. No! It was already too short and I am going to probably have to go a year to grow it out. And it is NOT longer in the front just to be clear. Please save yourself the heart break and the money and go somewhere with experienced stylists who LISTEN and care. I am so unhappy that I wasted such a large amount of money on something I am going to have to pay someone else to fix. I also have to live with this really short terrible hair cut now. read more

We loved this Salon and spa!! Visited in early 2017, my partner had a 90 minute massage with Kelly and walked out a puddle of mush for hours! Hoping to return this summer and experience as well. My facial with Tori was an absolute blip on the imagination scale. She cradled me to sleep with a gentle touch and extracted away the stress of travel from every crevice on me. 90 minutes flew by and my dehydrated face needed the tlc, but don't recall much of it. Apologies if I snored. The spa is much more upscale then what we expected. Located in the heart of downtown Annapolis, we just walked super close from our hotel (Annapolis Waterfront). The prices at Sadona are easy on the wallet and the owner Donna has a heart of gold. Loved it!! read more

Sadona Salon & Spa is a fantastic addition to Annapolis! If you want to have a great spa experience, look no further! Sadona is a place where you can take care of your beauty needs. They do cuts for men and women, nails, facials, coloring, massages and more! The space is so high end and beautifully decorated. It's very intimate and relaxing. Their pricing is very reasonable and comparable to other local spas. The difference is the high end feel and experience. I made an appointment for a one hour massage for Saturday. After walking upstairs to the massage area, I changed into a luxurious comfortable robe and sat down in the relaxation room. There were snacks, tea and water available while I waited and relaxed. I was then brought to my room where myself and the masseuse talked about the type of oil I wanted. I picked a lavender type and she put the essential oil on my feet to soak up right away. The massage was very good overall. Some things to note are: -Most comfortable massage bed I have ever laid on. -The masseuse put a peppermint oil on my back after that was sooooo good and refreshing. -When you first arrive, they will set up the room to your liking. Overall the massage was great and it will be my go-to place for massages. It will really take the stress off of you and I highly recommend giving it a shot! read more

My best day spa experience by far! I spent 5 relaxing hours at the Sadona Spa--a massage, facial, mani-pedi, and haircut--and couldn't be happier. The surroundings were comfortable, stylish, and spotless. The staff were kind, knowledgeable, professional, and thoughtful. The services I received and products used were top notch. I went in feeling tired and stressed and left feeling beautiful and refreshed. Give yourself or someone you love the gift of a spa day at Sadona! read more

I moved to Maryland more than a year ago and had not gotten my nails done because every place I looked up had such MIXED reviews! I decided that I was going to give Sadona a shot and honestly this is the best manicure I've ever received. The pictures I attached are my nails after TWO WEEKS!! No flaking, no peeling, nothing. I'm a peeler, so once they grow out I get crazy and just peel them right off...not these. I was a walk-in and they were so accommodating, so friendly, and so professional. This is the only place I will be going to get my nails done from now on. I plan on trying their facials and their spray tan in the coming months! read more

I came here on a whim, needing a same day appointment. I work downtown, so I checked Varuna, and Sadona as they're they closest. I knew Sadona would be more expensive, but they had an opening... so I booked it. I'm so happy I did. I'd never been to Sadona before, but the atmosphere is great... is absolutely relaxing, bright, calming, all the above. And the staff goes above and beyond. It's truly a 5 star spa... The only downfall with Sadona is their location... parking is a pain in the butt - and they have a hefty amount of stairs to get up to get to the spa. The first level is the salon. It's an old, historic building, so you get what you get - especially in this area... it's not a deal breaker. I'm unsure if they've got an elevator, though it would be very beneficial I'd imagine if they did. I'll definitely be back... it was an amazing experience. I have since gone to another spa for a facial, and was highly disappointed, so Sadona I'll go back to... it's a tough act to follow. read more

I am so happy I found Stacy at Sadona Salon. She worked miracles on my hair! I had had a terrible experience at About Faces in Annapolis where Chris, their colorist, made my blonde hair a chocolate color. Stacy here at Sadona spent hours patiently fixing my botched hair color. She took time to talk to me about what I wanted and then made it happen. My blonde hair looks beautiful now and I am a dedicated fan of Stacy's and Sadona! read more

Highly, highly recommend! I have been looking for a new salon for a while, because my true and trusted salon in VA, which I have been going to for almost 20 years, is just too far away after me leaving my job in DC and taking over a small business in Annapolis. The Receptionist, Anna, consulted with me, spent the time to understand my concerns of finding a new colorist, and asked me a bunch of questions before she recommended Elena for my specific texture and needs. So, I gave it a (nervous) try. And I am so glad that I did! I could not be happier. Wonderful service, great result. I found my new Salon in Annapolis. Yes, they are pricey but worth every penny! If you have high expectations from your stylist and salon, you should definitely give Sadona Salon + Spa a try. I also had an eyebrow tinting done and I am happy with the result as well. read more

I don't live in Annapolis but I was getting married there in November so I desperately needed a spray tan. A few came up but I ultimately decided on Sadona and I am extremely glad I did. I scheduled the spray tan for Wednesday evening and decided to go with the medium color option. The staff was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and polite. They even had a military discount which was awesome! So I received my spray tan on Wednesday and got married on Saturday and my skin looked awesome! I never looked orange, it stayed in place and didn't even stream or run when I was sweating my butt off on the dance floor. It was the best spray tan I've ever gotten. I wish they were located in San Diego because it means I would've finally found my go to place. Highly recommend! read more

I got a spray tan done for a wedding I was in at Sadona. Unfortunately the experience was less than satisfactory. I wore nothing so that I had no lines in my dress, I followed directions given and left it on overnight for "best" results. However when I showered the next morning I looked no different than before except for my tan lines had been enhanced. Absolutely no difference in color anywhere on my body. When I called to inform the salon and ask why this might have happened, they were less than helpful. I will not return to Sadona for a spray tan. read more

Everything and everyone was exceptional! I was in town for the week and decided to pamper myself. Great for groups! I would totally do a Bridal party reunion here at this spa. They have an upstairs and downstairs room for groups. The spa is in the Heart of downtown on West street in an old bank. They even have a couples room if you want a massage with your significant other or with a friend. Got a 5th Elements Mani-Pedi and facial waxing. Mani-pedi lasted about 2 weeks; with me cooking, swimming, gardening and doing all sorts of not so friendly activities to my nails. I'm impressed. I rarely get manicures because don't baby my hands. But this one lasted much longer than the ones I get at the mall. Love the Jane Iredale makeup! Used that brand for my wedding and I'm really glad to see a local place sell it here in Annapolis. The ladies there were super helpful and very accommodating for a last minute appointment. Will definitely be back...possibly with my girls. read more

Front desk staff lacks ability to properly communicate actual appointments. Make sure you have anything and everything in writing.

Kelly gives the best message I've ever had! Her fingers are magic. I'm always tense and tight in my neck and shoulders and require a lot of pressure and she always delivers. Highly highly recommended! read more

I was in town and needed a quick pedicure, so I found Sadona and woke up early Saturday morning to be there near their open time since I didn't have an appointment. They immediately took me over to the pedicure room and I zoned out in relaxation for the next hour. Jordan was quick but meticulous, and helped me match my toe color to my nail color (which was a different brand but looks spot on)! It was a bit pricier than what I'm used to paying for a pedicure, but I was happy with the service. read more

I always pre-empt my Spa reviews with the following caveat: I have been to more than 100+ spas in the world, and I was a Spa Manager for a few years and managed a team of estheticians, massage therapists and nail techs so I am plugged in. That said, I tend to have a more critical opinion... Nice place. Super comfy Zandals robes but geez, they need pockets so you have somewhere to put your locker key. In addition, a hook or small table in the treatment room is needed to put said keys and a glass of water if you brought it into the room. Treatments were started 10 min late but did last the full 60 min so they did right by the delay. Awesome spa bed in the Room. Nice support behind the knees and it was heated to the perfect temperature. Here comes my #1 pet peeve in a service and something I used to nail my employees on: for the love of God, people come to a Spa to relax. Doing facial manipulations very quickly, especially when a client circles the word RELAX as the primary objective of a facial, is a huge miss. Quick massaging of the face makes the service feel rushed and like the esthetician is merely going through the motions to get through the service. I didn't appreciate that one bit nor was it relaxing. At one point I almost asked her what her hurry was. Doing things slowly and with intention is some feedback I would give Cat, the esthetician I had for my facial. There wasn't much of a dialogue about my skin so it felt as if she slathered a bunch of glycolic/enzymatic products on my face without a specific treatment goal in mind. I did mention my skin felt dry but there was no mention of products used on me. Perhaps they don't require their staff to sell retail, but I don't even think they used Dermalogica stuff on my skin. I see where they had an Image sign up but then Dermalogica literature?! Very confusing. Like I said, nice space. Service can be improved by above-mentioned feedback. read more

I can't say enough good things about this spa. I had the best massage of my life this afternoon followed by an incredible facial. My skin looks and feels amazing. I finished my spa day with a blowout so my hair looks as great as I feel. I highly recommend this salon spa. I wish I lived in Annapolis so this could be my salon. But since I don't, I'll come every time I'm in town. read more
