The place might be a little hard to find. The building that they are located in doesn't have a sign out front for them. They are working with the building to have that changed but as we all know. RE: To the owners response, there was never a threat to post on social media in exchange for a full refund. This is a blatant lie. I'll update my review with a screenshot to prove this, as I said "I'm not sure what a resolution is here, but I just wanted to let you know of the service" Whats with the lying? I removed every last lash at home over the weekend because I was so unhappy with how I looked. To be clear: I stand NOTHING to gain from posting publicly about my experience, I am out $325 total, and I RARELY leave negative reviews - if you need receipts for this too, check my profile. Full transparency on my end. I reached out after via email in the hopes of any effort on Wink's part to find a resolution. The owner didn't follow up to meet me halfway, ask for photos, offer a phone call, absolutely nothing. Who said anything about a refund? Literally not me, ever, though that would be the customer service oriented thing to at least DISCUSS. On the contrary, I was instead told reaching out was inappropriate and that my words (my opinion) were untrue, and that I should find another salon. I can post a screenshot of that as well. How is that customer service? How is that caring about customer satisfaction? And how many people can honestly say they're comfortable with telling a tech who just spent two hours on something "Uh, yeah this look is awful for me" immediately after service? Anyone who is courteous would want to take a private moment to themselves in a comfortable space before opening a can of worms. I was on the hunt for a new studio, having been to others that I didn't love, and honestly, the first thing that caught my eye was Wink's logo. The second thing was that it shares space with Lotus Wellness Boutique, and I had been there for a couple of excellent massages in the past. Thirdly was that their pricing structure is totally fair. I have been to Wink three times now for brow tint, and I love it. Jess puts you at ease right away; she is kind and incredibly personable, and seems to enjoy building relationships with her clients. She is also very focused and detail oriented with my brow tint, so I am willing to bet that this detail and focus translates to her other services. The studio is easy to find with plenty of parking, and it is clean, cozy, and soothing. I absolutely love how easy it is to book an appointment through the app, as well as the text message reminders, and emailed (green) receipts. I had a scheduled appointment this past Saturday for a dermaplaning facial with Debbi. I've never had dermaplaning before but read up on it a little bit. Debbi never explained the procedure, I ended up asking her questions to gain more knowledge. She also waxed my eyebrows. After scraping the dead skins cells off my face she applied an enzyme mask that burned really bad. To her credit she did tell me that it would sting. After wiping off the mask she applied a sunscreen. My face had a "glow" after the facial but it appeared too shiny to me. My eyebrows could've been better but I knew I could clean it up later. The next day after the facial my face was on fire. I figured it was a side effect of the dermaplaning that would soon fade. By day three I noticed little scab marks on my forehead and cheeks and the hair on my chin was already growing back. It is now day five and my face still stings a bit. I'm not sure if dermaplaning isn't for me or if I chose the wrong esthetician. The front office is very friendly and welcoming. This review is only for the facial I received. read more
