Had a full face threading! She got me in and out. No photos because my face is usually a lil red and I forget. My face isn't super hairy but I like the random hairs removed. Threading works better for me than waxing or using nair. I don't breakout when I go to this venue (I have at other venues). They seem clean, relaxed, and organized. I'll return. The price is only $12 for eyebrow treatment. It is the first time I went here or had a "dental floss" eye brow treatment done. We went with my sister in law who has done this before. I actually really enjoyed this. The entire treatment took less than five minutes and I had no idea how much it cleaned up my face. It actually felt pretty good and the place was very clean. There are 2 locations within the Annapolis mall. I went to the one in section D (tiny location without a wait) of the mall, and my eyebrows look beautiful. The staff was not rude at all and didn't talk about me behind my back but instead we're fairly silent, so I don't know what the negative reviews were about. $12 brows $7 lip Update 6/24/17: got them threaded again by the other employee who works here and this may possibly be the best job I've received. Go see Jesina! I've been growing my brows out for a few weeks because I wanted to change the shape. I was going to go to the brow bar at Ulta, but really wanted to have them threaded. Lemme tell ya, I'm super happy that I decided to go to Brown Art 23 instead. It was my first time having them threaded so I didn't know what to except. I wouldn't say it was painful, more so of an annoying feeling. It felt like tweezing, but pulling a lot of tiny hairs out at once. I didn't have to tell her the shape I wanted, she told me to just sit back and relax, and she went to town. I was seriously amazed to see the how great they looked. This is the only place I have found near Annapolis that offers eyebrow threading. Having lived in various parts of New York City for the last 15 years, I've been getting threaded for a decade. $12 for eyebrows (and various prices for other parts of the face/body) is a bit on the pricey side compared to the $5 or $6 the same service costs in New York, but there are dozens and dozens of threading salons there. They can get $12 here since they are the only game in town. Whiny commentary about price aside, I had a great experience at the location in the mall. The threader was professional, quick, and accurate. I will definitely go back. Threading is FAR superior to waxing. Doens't pull or irritate the skin with chemicals. Hurts a bit more, but my vanity is worth it. read more

HORRIBLE!!! I just got my eyebrows done. I told the lady I don't like my eyebrows thin. So she says, "mmmhmm". Which told me she didn't speak good English. She proceeds to do my eyebrows in less than 1 minute and hands me the mirror. They look like crap. Super uneven and she created an arch in the center of one of my eyebrows. I won't be back. There isn't a thread bar near my house so whenever I am in a town with threading a make a point to get my eyebrows done. So I have experience with a variety of places. Brow Art in the mall is excellent. I didn't get the name of the lady who did my eyebrows today but she was fast and did a great job. I have dyed my brows at home with success many times. I happened to be at the mall in Annapolis running errands and thought I'd try the brow tinting service. I look like Groucho Marks!! I have followed some recommendations online as to how to remove and lighten the dye. I don't have time to go back and ask them to fix it!! Love!!! This place is amazing. I used to get my eyebrows waxed and just started to get my eyebrows threaded, and I haven't looked back since. I consistently go every two weeks and have had great service every time. I have had the pleasure in being serviced by all technicians, but my favorite is the manager, at least I believe she is the manager (first chair closest to the door). She is amazing! I tried getting my eyebrows threaded for the first time today at Brow Art 23 and I really have to say that the lady who did the actual threading did a fantastic job. I went in thinking "oh boy" , is this going to be another pain for beauty process??? In fact it was the complete opposite..She did a phenomenal job in making sure that they were done thoroughly and that I was pleased with the end result, which btw was great...I told her that I should have been coming here a long time ago but I guess it's never too late..I'm very pleased with my results..I definitely will return to this location in the near future...Great job read more

My first time getting my eyebrows threaded. I had heard it was not as painful as waxing so I decided to give it a try. My eyebrows are rather thick, but they look much better shaped up and groomed. I am very pleased. It felt like semi-gentle plucking and tugging a few hairs at a time. (I guess it depends on your tolerance, but that what it felt like to me,) A little redness afterward, but I think that's normal. Ms. Shreetha (I hope I spelled her name right.) was very gentle and friendly. She was the first person to greet me with a smile and took me right away. A very quick process. I threaded my eyebrows a week ago and they still look great. Customer service is good and speedily.

I have frequented this eyebrow threading salon on many occasions but I will never return or support an establishment who blatantly displays RACISM!!! As I entered the salon to get my eyebrows done a White customer was paying for her services when the employees handed her a holiday mug gift out of a huge storage box. So I sat down got my eyebrows done, tipped her 25% as I usually do, and the eyebrow threader lady turned and sat down. I turned to walk out and I wondered why I was not even offered a holiday mug gift. So I turned back around and asked the eyebrow threader and of course she "no longer understood English" oh how convenient!!! So I explained to her that I physically saw her hand a holiday gift to the customer right before me and she said "Oh I forgot". She then turned around to hand me a holiday mug out of the large box and I walked out. As I was leaving, another Black customer was sitting in the chair getting her eyebrows done. I was coming out of American Apparel (across the way) I saw her and asked if she had received a mug and she said NO!!!!!! This infuriated me, and it proved my point that RACISM exist even at Annapolis dang on Mall!!!! I explained the situation to her and I could see she was upset with what occurred. Bottom Line is It is not the fact that I "wanted" the holiday gift mug from these people because I don't need anything! It is the PRINCIPLE! If I could I would give them zero stars and never ever will I return to this or any of the Brow Art 23 locations. read more

I have been growing out my eyebrows for 7 months and I finally decided yesterday to go get them cleaned up (huge mistake). While there, I asked the lady who was threading my brows "please keep them thick! i just want a little clean up done!". I probably repeated that statement 3 times before she agreed and we moved on. I wish I had never even walked in that day because now my eyebrows are PENCIL THIN. My God, I've been shot back into the 90s and its terrible. Definitely will not be going back. read more

I went in for a light, light cleanup only. I told the lady to only take a pinch off and cleanup. She took a whole patch out my right eyebrow and I have no tip on the right eyebrow. Both are super thin and uneven and now I have to wait 3 months for them to be normal again. read more

Worst place ever, because the ladies who work there don't have basic manners to greet the customers or even say hello. They don't even say thank you for the tips. I used to do waxing, and ever since I discovered threading I can't go back. Threading doesn't leave that sticky feeling behind and it lasts longer than waxing does. NEVER AGAIN! I come all the way from Bowie to get my eyebrows done here. I prefer to have my eyebrows done by the younger girl who works at the second (or third) chair, but there are 2 others that I don't mind doing my eyebrows when she's not available or when it is busy. The last few times I have been the 2 have been extremely rude. When I ask for alcohol instead of witch hazel, they catch an attitude, on many occasions, but I never let it bother me because I don't care about your attitude more than I do about the fact that I will breakout from witch hazel! But the younger girl apologizes because she simply forgot and tries to remember her customers. Today, I walked in and asked for one of the 2 ladies and she catches an attitude because I guess she felt some type of way that I normally go to the younger girl, WHO WASN'T EVEN THERE.
