    Emily is great! Very natural lashes with a nice flare. the studio is very nicely designed and i had such a great experience

I first came in on 2/15 to get an Annapolis pedicure with gel polish. At first I was very happy used a 10% off first visit from Annapolis moms mention and despite the receptionist making a mistake and charging me someone else balance then changing me a second time to make the difference, that was not a big deal to me. Came in 6 days later to get a basic manicure with gel before my vacation to Hawaii which was 5 days later. Less than a week later (a day after I got to Hawaii and not even touched the beach yet) my toe nail polish had flaked off and my nail polish was catching on my hair. I messaged the salon via DM instagram and they said I could come in no problem when I came back from vacation. Here's when it all went downhill: I meant to say I could come in March 15 (get back the 6th but weekends only work for me getting my one year old watched) however I put the 8th, this was not scheduled as I never received a text confirming the date which would've helped the confusion. The 15th comes and I go in thinking I'm getting my nails fixed, nope! They are too busy and I have to come another day so I say I guess I could come back 3/15 (exactly one month from my first visit). When I arrived I wanted to clarify before getting the service that they were fixing this and I would not be charged for it yet I'd still tip. I got attitude saying at this point my nails would need to be redone but this one time (said multiple times) they will do it. I have never been so disrespected in a business before in my entire life. My heart was pounding and my leg shaking the entire time, honestly I wanted to walk out of here after she started. The tech wasn't going to cut my long nails and when I asked her too she shook her head and said "well of course they are long it's been over 5 weeks". Despite the disrespect I still tipped her $8 for 30 minutes of work of doing my nails and toenails, crazy. My nails are still slightly bumpy along the tips and chipped on the thumb nail chipped only 12 days later. For the price I'd expect more, better massage, definitely better service/experience, and for the gel polish to last longer. Never had gel last so little of time. Very disappointing!

The place might be a little hard to find. The building that they are located in doesn't have a sign out front for them. They are working with the building to have that changed but as we all know. I'll update my review with a screenshot to prove this, as I said "I'm not sure what a resolution is here, but I just wanted to let you know of the service" Whats with the lying? I removed every last lash at home over the weekend because I was so unhappy with how I looked. To be clear: I stand NOTHING to gain from posting publicly about my experience, I am out $325 total, and I RARELY leave negative reviews - if you need receipts for this too, check my profile. Full transparency on my end. I reached out after via email in the hopes of any effort on Wink's part to find a resolution. The owner didn't follow up to meet me halfway, ask for photos, offer a phone call, absolutely nothing. Who said anything about a refund? Literally not me, ever, though that would be the customer service oriented thing to at least DISCUSS. On the contrary, I was instead told reaching out was inappropriate and that my words (my opinion) were untrue, and that I should find another salon. I can post a screenshot of that as well. How is that customer service? How is that caring about customer satisfaction? And how many people can honestly say they're comfortable with telling a tech who just spent two hours on something "Uh, yeah this look is awful for me" immediately after service? Anyone who is courteous would want to take a private moment to themselves in a comfortable space before opening a can of worms. Not only did I email within an hour after leaving, I tipped the tech $35!!!
