Service was ok. Receptionist seemly understood that i wanted a soak off, overlay and a pedicure. Not sure what was told to the tech, he filed my nails and did a fill in. I told him TWICE that it was supposed to be a soak off but he just did want he wanted to do. He filled the top half of my nails and pretty much drilled off all of the remaining acrylic so my nails were pretty bare. He then put gel on my nails and continued to over-file annnnnd of course cut my cuticles :( to the point where they started bleeding. When he was done, he went to start the pedicure in which I declined because if this is the job on my nails, what would my feet look like? Now my nails are splitting at the bed and honestly i think that everyone working should be on one accord when serving people. NO tech should be doing a mediocre job and others doing a little better. I go here once a month for a regular spa rituals pedicure. All of the staff is friendly. I've never had a bad pedicure. I love their new chairs - comfy and nice massage features. I get a manicure every once in awhile - very happy! My only complaint is their prices keep going up. read more

Stopped in randomly on a Friday afternoon for a manicure and pedicure and was happy to find that there wasn't a wait for service. The pedicure was great - I upgraded to a more expensive pedicure (infused spa?) and it was great - the nail technician was gentle and really sweet. I also got a dip manicure and there are some minor imperfections that I noticed in the sunlight after I left, but I think they're only noticeable to me. I particularly enjoyed my pedicure experience here because they have a little pop up foot stand to rest your feet on when they're doing the callus removal and you don't have to hold your feet up in the air. I'll be back when I'm ready for my next service! read more

I had bitten my nails off the week before so they were very short and I told her that 2 of my cuticles were hurting. She was very careful not to hurt me and I really appreciated it! I also wanted round shape and she made sure the length and style was just what I wanted. The prices aren't to bad, pretty normal. Mine was $45. I've been here several times through the years but my last experience was just awful. I got a gel manicure on a Tuesday, they all peeled off by Wednesday and I did not pick them off. I went back Thursday morning and she re did them , said she wasn't going to charge me which I expected since it's wasn't even 24 hours that I had the polish on my nails. Today I went to this salon and had my nails done. I'd been here many times. I showed the girl a picture of the nails I wanted. Navy blue with gold glitter on the tips. Little did I know that I was being charged for ten designs. $48 for gel nails. I've had my nails done similar to that at other salons and have never been charged extra to add glitter on top of color. If I wanted to pay for a design I would have done something like a flower, stars or some kind painted design. I voiced my thoughts on this but they didn't care. I went to this nail salon because my go to nail technician was out of town and my friend suggested VIP nails. I am always nervous about new people touching my nails but I needed my nails done for a wedding. I asked Mina to put the dipping powder on my nails and I was so impressed with how they looked! The dipping powder stayed on my nails for a long time and didn't chip! Mina made my nails look very natural and gave them a nice shape. She also made sure I was happy with my nails before I left the salon. Needless to say Mina is now my go to nail technician. I get compliments all the time on how good my nails look. I believe the woman who does eyelashes is named Kim--and she is PHENOMENAL. I literally just got my eyelashes done and they look amazing and it took her like maybe 30 minutes! I read online so many places taking 2 hours but she was done in 30 minutes! They're full and wispy and gorgeous. I will DEFINITELY be back in three weeks for a refill!!!! Update: there were reasons why it only took her 30 minutes, figured that one out for myself. The lashes weren't the mink feathery type they advertised for the special. They were heavy plasticky ones. I mean they still looked great, but after having seen others who got the more feathery lighter lashes I realized how they were supposed to look. I went back for one refill just because they made me look done-up without any makeup. If I ever get them done again I'd definitely go with the light feathery extensions. read more

My mind is absolutely blown, and not in a good way. I got a set of acrylic nails that after 10 minutes would not set. Even after letting them dry, the acrylic was still soft and not set. I showed the tech they were completely bendable, her and another tech actually blamed me! They said it was my nails and went on to explain how long she's been working. I let it go and waited 10 more minutes without anyone saying anything to me. I then decided to put my nail polish back and leave. I told one of the girls that I was leaving because that they took someone before me and I didn't have time to wait God knows how much longer. She tried to make some excuse of course and not even apologize. I don't think I'll be coming back here again. I just got my nails done on Friday. Tonight my nail started to crack in the middle. I'll be going back tomorrow to have it repaired. I'm hoping the business won't charge me for the replacement. Clean and modern set up; however, the service leaves much to be desired. I've tried this place a few times over the years and normally leave disappointed. It had been a few years since I'd been here so I gave it another shot and not much has changed. I asked for the spa pedicure ($45) and it was the fastest pedicure I've ever had. I was done within 25 minutes. She barely shaped or cleaned up my toes. The woman told me she got off between 3-4 (it was 3:45) so I knew she was rushing. I absolutely love this place. Since we moved here about a year ago I've been looking for that one place my daughters and I can go. This is our go to place. I have 2 little girls (ages 3 and 4) and I love bringing them with me. The staff is wonderful with my daughters. They are patient and do a great job. My daughters love going. I enjoy my manicures and pedicures as well. They take their time and that's awesome. Id rather be there for a while and get great looking nails. They are super kind and just all around awesome. The location is great. Plenty of parking. The salon inside is beautiful. Very relaxing atmosphere. I recommend this place to anyone. read more

I have had many good experiences and bad experiences at this location. The place itself is probably one of the nicer salons in SP. The service though depends all on who you have so I suggest finding someone you like and sticking to appointments. They have always been really good at seating me immediately when I walk in. I have had my acrylics done here many times, some experiences better than others. One time I have had a full set put on and two nails broke within a day and they charged me for the fix. I think their prices are bit on the more expensive side, compared to other local places. Horrible! Someone sat in the pedi chair after me and was started on. My husbands pedi was half way through before getting mine started and I almost finished paint and everything before his was done.
