Do not get your nails done by a woman wearing an apron that says Heidi. She scolds you and you want to get up to leave half way through. It is not a relaxing experience when you are being treated poorly. Will go somewhere else. read more

Service was ok. Receptionist seemly understood that i wanted a soak off, overlay and a pedicure. Not sure what was told to the tech, he filed my nails and did a fill in. I told him TWICE that it was supposed to be a soak off but he just did want he wanted to do. He filled the top half of my nails and pretty much drilled off all of the remaining acrylic so my nails were pretty bare. He then put gel on my nails and continued to over-file annnnnd of course cut my cuticles :( to the point where they started bleeding. When he was done, he went to start the pedicure in which I declined because if this is the job on my nails, what would my feet look like? Now my nails are splitting at the bed and honestly i think that everyone working should be on one accord when serving people. NO tech should be doing a mediocre job and others doing a little better. Definitely not returning and others could take precaution! Oh and the shaping is horrible read more

I have been coming here for years and even drive from Baltimore! I have been seeing Lin and I can show her any inspo and she kills it! She will give advice and is creative if i am unsure. They just got a remodel and the new pedicure chairs are my fave! I always get a gel mani and pedi! read more

I go here once a month for a regular spa rituals pedicure. All of the staff is friendly. I've never had a bad pedicure. I love their new chairs - comfy and nice massage features. I get a manicure every once in awhile - very happy! My only complaint is their prices keep going up. read more

I get my nails done here occasionally and it's never a miss. My nail tech Lin is very knowledgeable and she takes her time when it comes shaping and art/ design. The inspo pics that I show here she is able to make it look even better. I never have a wait time and staff is always so friendly. read more

Stopped in randomly on a Friday afternoon for a manicure and pedicure and was happy to find that there wasn't a wait for service. The pedicure was great - I upgraded to a more expensive pedicure (infused spa?) and it was great - the nail technician was gentle and really sweet. I also got a dip manicure and there are some minor imperfections that I noticed in the sunlight after I left, but I think they're only noticeable to me. I particularly enjoyed my pedicure experience here because they have a little pop up foot stand to rest your feet on when they're doing the callus removal and you don't have to hold your feet up in the air. I'll be back when I'm ready for my next service! read more

I forgot why I stopped going here. I love this place the people there are very nice and and the Atmosphere is wonderful. It beautiful and so relaxing. I've had no problems everytime I go in there. read more

VIP Nail Studio - They did a great job on my nails - Nail Salons Near Me - Severna Park, Maryland

I walked in at about 1pm in a Wednesday and was taken right away. I got a full acrylic set with gel polish. Vicky was amazing! I had bitten my nails off the week before so they were very short and I told her that 2 of my cuticles were hurting. She was very careful not to hurt me and I really appreciated it! I also wanted round shape and she made sure the length and style was just what I wanted. The prices aren't to bad, pretty normal. Mine was $45. I just hate that you have to have cash, so she charged my CC again for the tip :( read more

I went here 2 days ago for a gel manicure. I'm not sure who the lady was that did my nails she was an older lady maybe the manager I'm not sure but she was terrible. When I was getting them done my lady got up for about 5 minutes because she was chasing after another lady who had just payed because they uncharged her. Later when I was getting them done another lady came in and complained that my lady gave her 2 different colors when she asked for one. Probably because she got distracted. Now I have had my nails on for 2 days and they are very bumpy and gross and they are chipping and it is not my fault because I have been sitting at home for the past 2 days waiting a snow storm out. It is a good salon but my lady is NOT good at all. read more

I went in with the idea of just a acrylic fill & the shape of my coffin nails fixed from a different nail salon. Lyli was my nail beautician & she suggested gel uv press ons & explained to me the benefits of doing these instead. I was stubborn with the idea at first but she really sounded like she knew what she was talking about so I went with it. Let me tell you,I'm one ocd chick so I'm never fully happy with my nails, but this time?!! I'm in love with my nails, lyli took so much time on every nail & every step & damn are they gorgeous. I highly recommend seeing her & listening to her knowledge on your nails because the girl knows her stuff!!!! Looking forward to seeing her again & reminding her how amazing she is at her craft! read more

Hello! I came here with my mom yesterday morning and it was very serene environment (besides the pop music)! They have a wide range of colors to choose from and the handle you with care. One basic pedicure was 31$ which is below average for a pedicure. They took us right to the pedicure chair and we were helped immediately! My mother has a broken foot and they made sure to be extremely careful her foot. I got a gel manicure and I showed my girl a picture. She matched to perfection adding on my changes. It was a little hot, but amazing! Also be sure to ask for Lili, she was who I had. read more

Made an appointment and was seen as soon as we got there. The girl who did my nails (lily I think) was amazing! My nails look good, which in the end is the most important thing, and the only reason there are 2 stars. However my tech made it be one of the most unpleasant experiences ever with how rude she was. Multiple occasions: rude comments on my height, feet, nails. Cut my toe. Disagreeing with me about colors. Correcting me. Trying to upsell me on the same thing multiple times until I had to say "Did I ask for that? No. So no" I would not recommend this place. read more

I've been here several times through the years but my last experience was just awful. I got a gel manicure on a Tuesday, they all peeled off by Wednesday and I did not pick them off. I went back Thursday morning and she re did them , said she wasn't going to charge me which I expected since it's wasn't even 24 hours that I had the polish on my nails. My nails are too light you can still see my nail through I think it would've been better with a 3rd coat but I guess I should've said Then I got a pedicure with the same woman and I was hoping she would redeem herself, I was wrong. She sat there for 5 minutes in front of me while my feet sat in cold water because she was on the phone with someone. Pedicure was rushed and She cut my toe nails down to the skin. She refused to let me look at a pedicure list she said "i'll tell you what's on there" made a comment to someone else and then said I can just take the polish off and that's it. Just horrible customer service. Not happy and definitely won't be back. read more

I've gone here for over two years and it's just gone down hill since, the past few times I went they made fun of my nails and my feet. They completely ignored what I wanted and just did what they want, but what really stopped me from going here was the way the nail technician kept grabbing my hand and snatching my wrist. She knocked down the plexi barrier when she pulled my arm so hard. read more

I decided to stop in and get my feet and eyebrows done, as this is not my usual spot. It was my first tIme and I was enjoying myself and everyone was pleasant! I tipped both individuals that assisted me and...the manager/owner didn't say anything when I left. I HATE HATE HATE when I don't feel valued!!!!!! I called the salon back and let them know how I felt and the same guy answered and didn't apologize or anything!!!!!! I won't return and there perfect 5 star review, knocked them down to a 2! read more

Today I went to this salon and had my nails done. I'd been here many times. I showed the girl a picture of the nails I wanted. Navy blue with gold glitter on the tips. Little did I know that I was being charged for ten designs. $48 for gel nails. I've had my nails done similar to that at other salons and have never been charged extra to add glitter on top of color. If I wanted to pay for a design I would have done something like a flower, stars or some kind painted design. I voiced my thoughts on this but they didn't care. With all the salons to choose from you would think they'd value their customers a little better. So disappointed as I thought I'd found a good place. read more

My favorite nail place. I don't have a go to person, so I can confidently say I've had a good experience no matter what. They always recommend different things based on your nail strength and have your best interest in mind. They also always have a ton of people on staff, so don't worry if you don't have an appointment, I've never had to wait! read more

I went to this nail salon because my go to nail technician was out of town and my friend suggested VIP nails. I am always nervous about new people touching my nails but I needed my nails done for a wedding. I asked Mina to put the dipping powder on my nails and I was so impressed with how they looked! The dipping powder stayed on my nails for a long time and didn't chip! Mina made my nails look very natural and gave them a nice shape. She also made sure I was happy with my nails before I left the salon. Needless to say Mina is now my go to nail technician. I get compliments all the time on how good my nails look. I posted a picture of my nails a week after I got them done. They still look amazing! Couldn't be happier! read more

VIP Nail Studio - 1 week after I had my nails done! - Nail Salons Near Me - Severna Park, Maryland

I believe the woman who does eyelashes is named Kim--and she is PHENOMENAL. I literally just got my eyelashes done and they look amazing and it took her like maybe 30 minutes! I read online so many places taking 2 hours but she was done in 30 minutes! They're full and wispy and gorgeous. I will DEFINITELY be back in three weeks for a refill!!!! Update: there were reasons why it only took her 30 minutes, figured that one out for myself. The lashes weren't the mink feathery type they advertised for the special. They were heavy plasticky ones. I mean they still looked great, but after having seen others who got the more feathery lighter lashes I realized how they were supposed to look. I went back for one refill just because they made me look done-up without any makeup. If I ever get them done again I'd definitely go with the light feathery extensions. read more

This place was AMAZING. I had a younger guy I can't remember his name maybe hero or Hugo it started with an H. He did absolutely amazing. I have never had a pedicure where they paid so much attention to my feet. That was the best pedicure I've ever had he massaged my feet for what felt like forever and it to die for. Definitely recommend coming here. read more

My mind is absolutely blown, and not in a good way. I got a set of acrylic nails that after 10 minutes would not set. Even after letting them dry, the acrylic was still soft and not set. I showed the tech they were completely bendable, her and another tech actually blamed me! They said it was my nails and went on to explain how long she's been working. She agreed I did not have to pay but made comments insinuating I was some sort of nail salon scam artist. I left completely insulted and stunned! read more

I've tried out this place 3 times now and have had an ok experience until today. It was a weekend and they were busy as to be expected. I told them I needed a mani and a pedi and they didn't mention a wait. So I picked out my nail polish and sat down. Another lady walked in five minutes after me without an appointment but they took her before me after we were both waiting. I let it go and waited 10 more minutes without anyone saying anything to me. I then decided to put my nail polish back and leave. I told one of the girls that I was leaving because that they took someone before me and I didn't have time to wait God knows how much longer. She tried to make some excuse of course and not even apologize. I don't think I'll be coming back here again. Now I'm realizing that my acrylics have lifted or broken so frequently since I've been here that I don't think they even do a good job! read more

Unfortunately it appears that Mei isn't working there anymore. I've had the same guy do my nails twice now. The previous time my nails were too short and started popping off before two weeks. I just got my nails done on Friday. Tonight my nail started to crack in the middle. I'll be going back tomorrow to have it repaired. I'm hoping the business won't charge me for the replacement. I'm not so sure I'll be back after this set. read more

I have 2 little girls (ages 3 and 4) and I love bringing them with me. The staff is wonderful with my daughters. They are patient and do a great job. My daughters love going. I enjoy my manicures and pedicures as well. They take their time and that's awesome. Id rather be there for a while and get great looking nails. They are super kind and just all around awesome. The location is great. Plenty of parking. The salon inside is beautiful. Very relaxing atmosphere. I recommend this place to anyone. read more

Clean and modern set up; however, the service leaves much to be desired. I've tried this place a few times over the years and normally leave disappointed. It had been a few years since I'd been here so I gave it another shot and not much has changed. I asked for the spa pedicure ($45) and it was the fastest pedicure I've ever had. I was done within 25 minutes. She barely shaped or cleaned up my toes. The woman told me she got off between 3-4 (it was 3:45) so I knew she was rushing. I came home and had to do my own callus treatment because she barely touched my heels with the grater. Do yourself a favor and pass. read more

Fastest pedicure I've ever had, felt like i interrupted their day and they aren't very busy! Three of us went together and each got done separately. I don't even know how to explain this place. The ladies were rude and I couldn't make out what they were trying to say. The lady I had just had her AirPods in and would randomly make comments about me which were either unnecessary or weird. At least she did my nails well but besides that, I won't be coming here ever again. read more

I walked in at the very last minute. I noticed that the shop was amazingly clean, and everyone was upbeat. My nail tech was Tammy, and she was an absolute doll. She was thorough with my hands and feet. My hands and feet look wondeful, but the shop is too far from my home. read more

Absolutely awful experience. Rude, rushed and terrible nail job. I literally had to keep telling them to slow down on my gel polish because she wouldn't wait the full 60 seconds to dry. I have had many good experiences and bad experiences at this location. The place itself is probably one of the nicer salons in SP. The service though depends all on who you have so I suggest finding someone you like and sticking to appointments. They have always been really good at seating me immediately when I walk in. I have had my acrylics done here many times, some experiences better than others. One time I have had a full set put on and two nails broke within a day and they charged me for the fix. I think their prices are bit on the more expensive side, compared to other local places. But overall, they are pretty good, I total recommend going to Kevin, she is a life saver after having my acrylics messed up by another salon. Definitely recommend her! read more

VIP Nails has been my salon of choice for about 11 years - first at the Annapolis location and now at the Severna Park shop. My manicure continues to receive compliments for the entire 3 weeks between appointments, and I can always count on attentive customer service, a relaxing atmosphere, and very reasonable prices. Pedicures and waxing are other services that I regularly receive there. Horrible! Someone sat in the pedi chair after me and was started on. My husbands pedi was half way through before getting mine started and I almost finished paint and everything before his was done.
