I was surprised by the price of the small shaved ice ($6.19), so I decided to give it try. It turned out to be not the authentic Taiwanese shaved ice because the texture was more smooth. We ordered a honey lime flavor, and you can substitute the topping to other popping bobas. I switched mine to tapioca. The food was decent, but the serving caused so much trouble and mess since the ice was tall compared to the size of the container. A lot of the shaved ice fell out as we were scooping on it. You also don't get to eat it with the topping until you finish the top portion of the shaved ice. Another thing we ordered was wheel cakes. They have always been one of my childhood favorites, and I think they served as pretty good carving snacks! The custard tasted a little burnt to me, but my partner liked it. The food was hot and came out really quick, and the service was nice. Overall, I like the food! You can also collect stamps with them for a free drink in the future! read more

Hopped here after finding out about this place. It's small, a little homey which sparks off good vibes so far. Decent amount of seating, it's like any other bubble tea place. Like I said, small. It's located in an asian supermarket after all, not separately. Bubble tea was decent, only average in my opinion. The little design on the lid was printed off, threw me off. The toppings were nice to snack on but the texture of the actual tea also horribly threw me off. I never tried their shave ice though, I should do that when I come back. That doesn't ruin my entire experience though, so I shouldn't continue to weep. I do hope to come back to this place and give it a better review. I know this place can improve! read more

I love coming to Bubblecup Tea Zone since it's so close to my house. The tea and milk tea are decent and you can always adjust the sweetness level. However the last 3 times I stopped by, at different times of the day, they were out of boba. It is kind of disappointing. I went to Bubblecup Tea Zone today with a friend. There were different flavors, teas, slushes, and toppings to pick from that it took time for us to decide what we wanted. We ended up ordering a classic milk tea and lychee tea. With the lychee tea, my friend liked that it's customizable to the sweetness level and amount of boba she wanted. As for the classic milk tea, I loved that it was non-dairy! It satisfied my taste and the sugar level was exactly what I needed to feel energized. The employees were nice and friendly. One of them was informative and knowledgeable of the ingredients in each drink. There were two employees working behind the counter, so expect there to be a wait time if you go during a busy time. We waited for approximately eight minutes before getting our drinks. They were such uplifting drinks to have while we were browsing through all of the aisles of the Pan Asia supermarket. We both enjoyed our drinks, and were glad of the addition of Bubblecup Tea Zone to the supermarket. Boba drinks do make our shopping experiences more fun! read more

Finally a boba place out in the burbs! Accidentally stumbled across this place before they opened for business and decided to stop by for their soft opening today! They are conveniently located inside Pan Asia, so you can do all your Asian grocery shopping here and treat yourself to some boba after. I opted for Thai milk tea cause I'm basic but hey a classic is a classic. Sadly their boba wasn't ready at the time, and I couldn't wait for it due to time constraints. Regardless, the drink itself was pretty good! They didn't have separate ice or sugar options, so I just asked for less ice and less sugar. The drink was good, but it was a bit too sweet for me. Will I get it again? Sure. But I'd like to try something different and with boba next time! I also saw that they have different desserts other than boba, so I'm excited to try those too. read more

I love this place! Sometimes they do get busy but they get the drinks in and out pretty easily! There's also a way to get some thing yummy and tasty before shopping for whatever that you need for dinner or your meals. The kids and I enjoy it I personally love the coffee jelly and the Thai slush. If you are not sure of what you want if you know kind of the base of what you want they're also really good with coming up with some thing that you will definitely enjoy! Very solid new bubble tea place located inside pan Asia super market. Have ordered like 6 drinks here now. Overall most of them have been good, we usually order 50 percent sweetness on most drinks and they are still decently sweet. Definitely would recommend not coming during a prime time hour or weekends, they get slammed with orders and seem to have a lot of new hires so it's a pretty long wait. The best Boba place in town! I was visiting from San Francisco and really craving for boba (need that boba fix haha). BTZ was the first option I see on my google search. I wasn't expecting much from it because nothing can compare from Asia. I ordered Jasmine milk tea with 30%sugar and light ice. It totally threw me off guard.
