I found Tea Talk when I drove by last week but they didn't open yet. We came back today to get drinks. The store is very chic and modern. They have a very good menu including boba tea, Vietnamese coffee, smoothies and fresh juice. The owner here also owns Pho Vietnamese in Ballwin. He is very nice. He gave us samples of oolong and taro milk tea- they are delicious. We ordered Cafe Cream Cheese, Smashed avocado with durian, and Green apple/Red apple/ passion fruit fresh juice. Everything was good. Highly recommend!

Expensive, just like any other boba place, but at least it was in a convenient location. Don't know if I would really go out of my way to come here again. Dairy substitutions were also extra if I remember correctly, which isn't really accommodating for people who are lactose sensitive. If I were you, I would just go up north to the Creve Coeur Boba place as they have lactose free milk without any extra charge, ambience is cute I guess, but again it just feels like an overpriced Boba shop. Offers waffles too and has nice staff at least.

They open small thing pho . Good pho . I like it. Good location at South county... recommended who love pho . Come in eat it.

The pho is good! Coffee wasn't bad either, but drinks kinda pricey. I'd go again though

Milk Tea tasted good, however the medium cup/lid leaked repeatedly on my shirt and the straws were to small for the boba.

Sadly, I was unable to get any work done even with AirPods in. The one negative was how cold inside was. I very much so enjoyed the food that I ate and the coffee was absolutely delicious. The people working were very friendly very helpful. It is an absolutely cute place. You can tell there are a lot of returning customers as well as a regulars, which is nice to see.

I considered walking out right then and there, what really wanted to give them a chance since this was new to me. Upon ordering the cashier noted that the pretzel bun was out and so we switched it with wheat bread because they felt the ciabatta bread would be too much. Not even 10 minutes later another woman was ordering a sandwich and the pretzel bun obviously was out and they offered her that choices of other breads, and she said she wanted ciabatta and the same person said there was no ciabatta bread. We got our drinks and eventually our food. The atmosphere with customers had a low hum of conversation and laughter. The workers however, were quite loud and boisterous, minus the one young man who seemed to be doing most of the work and keeping to himself. For $13 I received the chicken salad sandwich on a croissant bun with chips. That's what they offer as the side. The croissant itself was hard and un edible. The chicken salad was OK if you like water down chicken salad. But when I spend $13 on a meal, I kind of expect something better than just mediocre. It lacked flavor. So for me, this was a one and done visit. I really enjoy a little café coffee shop places sadly this one has to go on the I will not return list.

The staff here are always so nice and polite, and this is a great spot to get away from all the noise when you want to relax or get a little work done. I ordered a honey lavender iced latte. The croissant was fluffy and flakey, and the warm ham and cheese brought comfort to my belly. They were out of the marmalade that comes with it so i wasn't able to taste that. Concept is interesting - part cafe, part bank, part workspace, part bank. The space is modern and clean, and set up perfectly if you want to sit and get work done. Lots of seating and outlets with free wifi. I didn't get to try the coffee and got the matcha instead which was pretty refreshing. The menu also included light food options like sandwiches and pastries which are convenient if you want something quick. Another big perk is you get 50% off drinks if you have a Capital One or Discover card which makes it a much better value and a reason to come back.

It's located on a busy street in Clayton, so people watching is available. Being used to ordering at Starbucks, I was uncertain how to approach this, so I told the employee I was trying to adjust and he was so kind and helpful. I went with a Hot Macchiato with Caramel and Mocha, 2% Milk and a small Chicken Empanada. They were a bit backed up, so the wait was a little longer than I expected, but the drink was very good. I didn't even have to specify how many pumps of what to put in there, they just did it and it was perfect. The right temperature, I didn't have to wait to drink it. The empanada was piping hot, so I had to let it cool and unfortunately couldn't try it before my appt. Next time tho.

But why would you want to eat food from a coffee shop? I've been visiting coffee shops on the reg for the past several weeks, and I've repeatedly made the mistake of ordering breakfast sandwiches, burritos and what have you. I have no one to blame for this but myself. I knew going in that it wasn't a good idea. I just couldn't help myself. This must be how people end up on drugs. There was a race going on nearby, when I visited 23 West yesterday. I wasn't involved, though I was there in a running capacity. My running group just happened to be meeting there. We ran a few miles in the neighborhood before our visit. By the time we got there, there was quite a crowd. The contrast between the sweaty, disheveled runners and the sleek, modern decor was striking. This place has an interior like some showroom where you're pressured into taking out a high-interest loan to purchase jewelry of questionable provenance. Are they in cahoots with the bank next door? Both buildings, I notice, have a similar facade. 23 West is painted the same shade of gray as a post-McPlayPlace-era McDonald's, when they started trying to look like a Chipotle. Some girls on apps prefer it if you didn't take them to get coffee. It's not expensive enough. If you can get one to agree to such a date, you might consider bringing them here. It's classy. The coffee is good too. I went with the Raspberry Cheesecake Cold Brew, a seasonal item. It was magnificent. I ordered mine to-go, so I could enjoy it at the tables out front, and in case 12 showed up. They give it to you in a tall plastic cup with no lid, filled to the point where it's nearly impossible to carry without spilling, presumably so you can sample the delicious cheesecake-like froth and probably get a little bit of it in your mustache. You can't really sip it with a straw. The coffee itself is surprisingly robust, given the depth of the raspberry flavor. It's an odd idea for a drink, and not something I'd usually order, but the execution was on point. I also went with a Cherry Almond Scone. I had to eat something, for emotional reasons, and it looked interesting. I'm no expert on scones, but I enjoyed it. It may have been the most dense baked good I've ever eaten, to the point where it could probably be used as a weapon, in a pinch. I know it's supposed to be similar to a biscuit and that in England, where they're consumed on the reg, a biscuit is known as a cookie (why?). It's a lot dryer than even the biscuits at a Lee's Famous Recipe, but intentionally so, I guess because it's designed to be eaten with a beverage. A hot beverage is probably ideal, but I made it work with a cold brew. It's the kind of thing you don't realize until after the fact. Next time I'll know. If and when I do return, I'll be dressed as a magician, possibly with a young lady in tow.

The seating host and servers we met during this experience were very nice. I ordered the mushroom coffee: forest & meadow mushroom medicinal powder, served with a shot of espresso. I received a large, hot mug of beverage with artistic crema decor. Could not discern mushroom flavor save the grit at the bottom of the cup, but I can now say I've tried it. My eggs and salad dish came out next, along with an order of their toasted sourdough bread, butter and jam I ordered (their specialty). Unfortunately, the toast was cold, as was the liquidy fruit jam. Butter was ice cold out of the frig too since it has been forgotten and needed to be retrieved. The small green salad was fresh and tasty, but the two scrambled eggs were cold and rubbery. It was hard to know who was out server because aside from the seating hostess, four more people arrived, one after the other, at varying times to get the meal and forgotten items to our small party of three. I was left feeling that more training and organized timing of meals is needed at this establishment.
