UBEEEEEEE CHEESECAKE WHAAAATTTT??!? I'm an ube-everything lover, so when I saw they served ube cheesecake, I HADDDDDD to go try it! It's a cute little cafe that any K-pop fan would appreciate. They had a few dessert choices so we ended up with the Ube and Oreo cheesecakes along with our drinks. It's the only place I know of that has TARO PUDDING as a topping! So obviously I had to get the taro snow with taro pudding! Yum! Hubs got the black sugar MT w/ boba and finished it in the car before we got home, so needless to say it was good lol. Honestly, the ube cheesecake was just okay. It's definitely a MILDLY sweet dessert compared to the Oreo cheesecake. I would not suggest eating them side by side because it made my ube cheesecake taste like plain mashed potatoes in comparison. I still appreciate the effort in bringing variety to the small Asian dessert community that's in Reno/Sparks. I love boba! If you love boba come try Bubble Tea station. The location is clean and smells like desserts. There are a wide selection of beverages. My personal favorite is the milk tea, almond flavor. I always add boba. If you have never had boba, it's just little bite size tapioca balls that are added to the bottom of your drink. I love the texture. That might sound a little strange, but don't knock it til you try it. The cafe staff were very friendly and the service was quick. The bathrooms and seating areas were neat and clean. My only critique is that the music was a bit too loud. Definitely not a deal breaker. Come grab a boba or treat, stay and hang with friends, or grab something to go. Located next to Pegs n Eggs on Prater. There is ample parking. Usually spots directly in front of the store. read more

Not bad for a first experience! I came especially for the Ube cheesecake and the taiyaki, but I was pleased to see that they offered soo many other desserts! But I need to visit again before I make a final judgment. So far, I can tell that this place has potential. It just needs a few tweaks. Although I enjoyed the ube cheesecake, it does get tiring to eat after a few bites because of how sweet it was. I would've preferred it had more of the cheesecake in it than the ube. Like perhaps a cheesecake with ube swirl instead? I was pleasantly surprised with the taiyaki. It was strong enough to hold up the ice cream, the toppings and the filling inside. Love!! One of the best boba spots in Reno. I got an Oolong milk tea w/ coffee jelly. They only have 2 sizes (medium and large), and I got a medium. The milk tea is just as yummy as the ones in the Bay Area! So delish. :) They host regular BTS events for every member's birthday. I've come here twice now, once around the time when they first opened and just today. I decided to give it another try since their reviews were 4 stars still. I was very disappointed both times. Their boba drinks are extremely sweet, almost syrup like to the point we can't even drink more than a few sips. I've tried their fruit flavored teas to their hokkaido and Hong Kong tea. ..the fruit flavored one was super sweet and too overwhelming to the point you can't taste the green tea. Hokkaido was extremely sweet, like simple syrup level. I had my friend try it and he had to spit it out. Hong Kong sweetness level was okay, they brewed a fresh batch to make my drink white allowed the ice to melt down, but the tea didn't taste freshly packaged, (kind of like the teas have been out of a vacuum seal for a while and has lost a lot of the pure tea flavor. Boba was actually fine this time, not perfect but it was soft and chewy. I won't be coming back again unfortunately, it's got a really cute interior and some fun desserts and drink options, but the flavor does not meet up to other great boba places I've tried around the west coast. Stopped here the other night for a quick pick me at my stepsons request. We were not disappointed. I ordered the Adzuki bean milk tea, my husband had the black tiger milk tea and my stepson had the Thai milk tea and all were flavorful and creamy. Also really enjoyed that you can change the sweetness level. I hadn't heard of that at a boba tea place before and I have to say it's genius. As my previous review, I was excited to return after Covid to dine in and enjoy my drink and ube cheesecake. We ordered the passionfruit decaf tea with boba which was ok and some kind of coconut tea drink - this one was delicious. We also ordered the small ube cheesecake in a can - made me feel like eating cat food () but this was also delicious. Our friends ordered the brownie and a boba drink. There are benches inside with only one table that had 3 stools. We asked if they had another stool in the back that we could borrow - they declined. The brownie was hard as a rock to eat - we asked if they could warm it, they also declined. We had to ask a second time and told them to please figure it out because brownie was purchased to be consumed not to babysit it. Eventually they decided to warm to warm it. There were signs saying "restrooms temporarily closed" but based on the photo - it was obviously not temporary. They have boxes partially blocking the hallway. The tipping options: lowest auto amount was 15% which gave me the impression this is the least they expect. You order, pick up, and eat standing up, have to fight to consume your food, and no restroom. Drinks taste average. A star for the delicious ube cheesecake, another for the coconut tea drink. I have tried several boba places in Reno/Sparks and this by far has the best bobas!!! I'm not talking about the drinks, but the BOBAS themselves! The bobas here are not undercooked and actually enjoyable to chew :) We ordered matcha green tea and thai iced tea. Both our drinks were super delicious and were consumed to the last sip! Bubble Tea Station is a nice boba shop that's definitely needed in Sparks. They have a pretty nice menu and a wonderfully cozy space that's very inviting. The staff is very friendly and fast. It's takeout only so if you're looking for a place to sit down and enjoy, this isn't it but it's not far from a number of parks in the area, and around the corner from the outlet mall. The prices are on par with the other boba shops but I feel the flavor is closer to Ding Tea, which is usually my go to. It's not very busy right now so go support them before the line is out the door. I definitely recommend you check this place out. read more

I don't know if it's because I'm used to the boba shops in my area, but I had just an okay experience here. We were greeted immediately when we came in. The shop is social-distance friendly. They have a lot of BTS decorations which is cool and different. I was very interested in the papaya snow, since I love papaya & its not a typical menu item. The papaya flavoring was actually really good. But I have to remove a star because it wasn't blended that well & another star because the boba was hard and almost tasteless. The boba sets the tone for the drink, and it wasn't the best I've had. The staff were very friendly, helpful & quick. They have made sure to make comfortable Covid changes - clear markings for where to stand, moved the seating, lots of signs, and the staff are very conscious about masks etc. definitely felt safe coming in! My favorite go to drink is matcha milk tea and I've tried it from many different boba shops in Reno. Not gonna lie, the best one I've enjoyed is the one at bubble tea station cafe. Like the difference between this place and other places is the quality of the matcha. The matcha here is actually something I can taste compared to others because of how the taste is bland. Meaning like it's just matcha with like water which downgrades the flavor a little bit. Just something about their matcha is just different. The drinks come out pretty fast too so it's convenient for when i come during a lunch break or in a rush. For the first time, I also ordered one of their crepes! I rarely eat crepes, but the Banana cream one was delicious, and came generously portioned. It didn't taste overly sweet, either, so I somehow felt less guilty and more satiated after enjoying this refreshing dessert. The bubble tea craze has hit Reno and BTSC is the leader here. Large and clean BTSC has lots of seating for a tea spot. We tried the Kona Mocha with boba and a standard Milk Tea with boba. My Kona Mocha was very tasty and the Milk Tea had good flavor as well. The boba were firm with good chew. The only odd thing was both drinks were pretty darn hot and took a while to cool down from the melting ice. It would be nice if there were a way for the server to cool down the drink before pouring it over the ice as the ice instantly waters down your drink. I have really never seen such hot drinks shrink wrapped and served up. Overall BTSC is a good spot to satisfy your bubble tea craving. BTW this spot is right next door to Hiroba Sushi. read more

Tried this place for the first time about 2 weeks ago! I was really craving boba and searched for a place that was open during this time. Found out they were still taking orders, and called my drink in! I went with the taro milk tea and my hubby got their halo halo. They had a cool set up when I arrived, people were social distancing while waiting for their order. I felt that the taro could've been a little sweeter, didn't get much flavor from it. My husband said he didn't really like their version of the halo halo but that he'll try another drink next time. A friends daughter works here and thought we'd try. We travelled to Taiwan a little bit ago and tried real milk tea with tapioca pearls. So we are now very picky about our milk tea. Seems like most places around town over do it with their syrups and or powders. So sweet! We ordered classic milk tea with boba. These drinks were grainy and had very little boba. Boba was not soft to our liking and were not filled to the top. Drinks were lukewarm and just not very appetizing. This was our first time here and a little disappointed.
