Bubba's 33 is always a favorite when it comes to Texas eats. They are the sports bar version of Texas Road House. Need I say more? They are fun, lively and full of character. Bubba's 33 is known for some hearty American classics with a pizzazz of flair. From pizza to fish and chips, to burgers, to wings, to fun filled appetizers such as their crooked fried cheese (my favorite), there is something for everyone. The menu boast an abundance of food choices. The food is always hot and made in house. The servers are always friendly and fast. From seating you, to bringing out your food, they try and minimize your wait as much as possible. The sports focused atmosphere of Bubba's 33 gives you a sense of sitting in your living room having a good time. The hood decorations attached to the ceiling is very unique. The classic car feel radiates throughout the place. All of the locations are just as great. If you want flavorful food, great ambiance and a great experience, Bubba's 33 is your go to place.

After my granddaughter's basketball game in Arlington, we stopped at Bubba's 33 in Waco, and it didn't disappoint! The Combo Appetizer was our starter, and we were all about the fried mozzarella sticks (perfectly crunchy and cheesy), fried pickles, and bone-in wings (yes, we upgraded from boneless--it's worth it). The sauces--marinara, ranch, and Bubba sauce--were spot on with every bite. We tried both the Grilled Chicken Salad and the Crispy Fried Chicken Salad(no pic) we forgot Fresh greens, eggs, cheese, tomatoes, red onions, and those crispy potato straws on top made them stand out. Fries on a salad? Absolutely genius. I had the Atlantic Cod, fried in Samuel Adams Boston Lager batter. It was golden, flaky, and came with seasoned fries, coleslaw, and a unique tartar sauce. Definitely a highlight of the meal! Washed it down with some wild strawberry lemonade To-go, we grabbed a large pepperoni pizza, which was fantastic. Crispy crust, gooey cheese, and the perfect amount of pepperoni! The vibe here is awesome. You can watch sports on all the TVs, That Texas and A&M bball game was a nail biter but they also had a music video channel playing, which kept the energy fun and lively. Devani, our server, was amazing--super friendly and on top of everything. If you're in Waco, do yourself a favor and stop at Bubba's 33. Great food, great atmosphere, and an all-around fun experience! Ooo and the bathrooms were spot on! Yep it matters.. to me

Tried Bubba's tonight for dinner. The food was Very good. I had the cheeseburger with tater tots. The burger tastes great, although I did sub mustard for the bubba sauce. It was cooked perfectly medium and the tots were good. My wife had the veggie pizza with a side salad. I tried a slice and it was very good. Our waitress was very attentive and provided great service. The place itself is large and somewhat noisy. But hey it's a sports bar.

The food was absolutely delicious! The service was even better. Kiki was our server and she was amazing... she recommended a lot of the things we ordered and we were not disappointed. We would definitely be back just because of Kiki's amazing service. The restaurant itself was not crowded at all and really clean. I loved the restaurant ambiance.

If you're looking for a spot that has great vibes with delicious food, Bubba's 33 is the place. The food is always delicious! The menu has everything from burgers and pizza to wings and steaks--there's something for everyone. We think it's a perfect place to catch a game on one of their many TVs, and enjoy a meal with my favorite Baylor Bear!

First of all, they do sell pasta dishes here. At the time of this review, the pasta dishes hadn't…read morebeen added to the online ordering menu on their website. I've had the Chicken Parmesan pasta, the Margherita pizza, and the Pepperoni pizza. Each of them was above average. The Chicken Parmesan came with a nicely breaded and cheese-covered piece of chicken with spaghetti and two pieces of garlic toast. It was good, though it could have used a little more red sauce. Pizzas are available as 20" or 14" pies, and certain ones you can get by the slice. The crust is medium thickness, light, with a soft core and a crispy outside. The Margherita was good but I preferred the Pepperoni. Overall, both pizzas were above average. I especially liked the crispiness of the outside of the crust. They also have salads and wings. Dessert consists of cheesecake or funnel cake fries. I haven't tried any of these yet. There is an inside dining area, a bar area, and an outdoor patio area. The inside is shared with Common Grounds coffee shop and Heritage Creamery ice cream shop, a couple of other local favorites.

The workers were…read moreunprofessional while on shift it seemed they were going back and forth to a table of what it looked it were their friends and speaking very loudly to the point the entire establishment could hear them. That wasnt my biggest concern though. Slow rise has been my favorite pizza spot. I usually go to the one on the brazos but it was my first time at this location, after listening to the loud people talking and supposedly were also working. I was trying to enjoy my favorite pizza and when i look down to get my next bite there is a hair in my pizza. I try to take it off because i do have dogs so i wasn't certain if it came from me. It was a blonde hair and when i tried pulling it out it was under the cheese and intertwined INSIDE the pizza. After that i felt nauseous and i dont think i will be coming back. The service was mediocre to say the least and the hair inside my pizza made me want to vomit. Sad to write this review but even sadder i had to experience this at my all time favorite pizza place.

I am writing this while waiting in line. I will write as much as I can whilst waiting in line. I…read morehave already been here for 20 minutes, and honestly it feels like time is moving in slow motion. It's one of those moments where you start off impatient, checking the time every thirty seconds, thinking the line is going to magically start moving faster just because you're watching it. But then you hit this point where you realize you're stuck here no matter what, so you kind of settle into it. It's like accepting defeat, but in a peaceful way. It's funny how waiting in line exposes how restless I can be. I'm so used to jumping from one thing to the next, always thinking ahead, always planning. But right now all I can do is stand here, shuffle forward an inch every couple of minutes, and come up with random thoughts to keep myself entertained. I keep looking around like something interesting might happen, but everyone else looks just as bored and zoned out as I feel. There's this weird shift that happens when you're stuck waiting: your brain starts drifting to stuff you don't normally slow down enough to think about. Like plans you haven't made yet, conversations you need to have, things you've been putting off, or even just how tired you are. My brain is bouncing between "I hope this line goes faster" and "maybe this is good for me." It's almost like being forced into stillness. I can hear the little hum of people talking, the random coughs, the footsteps sliding on the floor, and it all blends together into this background noise that makes the whole moment feel strangely calm. I'm not doing anything productive, but I'm not wasting time either. I'm just... here. Present. Waiting. And sometimes I think moments like this are actually underrated. You get space to breathe, even if it wasn't your choice. And the longer I stand here, the more I realize how often I rush through my days. I always want to get to the "next thing." But right now there is no next thing. There's just this slow-moving line, and me trying to make something out of a situation that would normally annoy me. Honestly, it's almost therapeutic to just let my thoughts spill out without overthinking anything. It's like I'm giving myself permission to just ramble and process whatever pops into my head. If anything, this might be the most productive part of my day, not because I'm accomplishing anything, but because I'm actually slowing down long enough to check in with myself. And the line still hasn't moved much, but I'm starting to care a little less. Maybe I'll be here another 20 minutes. Maybe longer. But at least I'm turning it into something instead of just staring at the back of someone's head and wishing I was somewhere else.
