My wife and I come here at least twice a month since it opened. I keep hoping (tongue in Cheek) they would mess up my order so I get it free again. Our first visit in September earned us a free pizza because the one that came out wasn't perfectly round. We got to eat it and received a pizza to go. Management will take care of you to make things right. We highly recommend the Hawaiian Pizza. The bacon they add is a great touch. They burgers are great also but I recommend sharing one. They are big. The portions are huge, the wait staff is friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is very alive...especially during a big sports event. They have two bars, one in the Garage and they other in the main dining room. The Garage can get loud during games. The nice thing is it never feels ugly or angry like some sports bars can get. If you get there at a standard dinner time on a Friday or Saturday you will wait. It is a popular place that has not slowed much since it opened. I recommend going early on those days or go during the week on an off-night for games. Those days are not as crowded. My only mild complaint is since it is down the street from where I work it would be nice if it was open for lunch Monday through Thursday. read more

Super disappointed in our visit today. We tried to go around 2 pm. The hostess couldn't seat us until her "lead" was back at the hostess stand. Once we were finally seated, we sat for over 15 minutes without anyone ever greeting us. We asked the same hostess to please find our waiter. We assumed she tried to find them, but she went back to the hostess stand to seat another guest who happened to sit at the table next to us. That table was immediately greeted and the drink order was taken. I asked the waitress again if she was able to locate our waitress and her response was "sorry, I'm not a waiter". That's when we walked out. There is a huge need for some training and/or customer service. We keep trying to give this place a chance and every time we go, the service is so awful but not as bad as today. We won't be back at this point. read more

We typically love this place and are here often. However, last night we had the worst experience! We didn't have to wait long to be seated; about 25 minutes which isn't bad for a Friday night. We sit and our waiter greets us and takes out drink order and appetizer order. It didn't take too long and we had our drinks. Our waiter returns about 15 minutes later with our onion rings and leaves. He literally sat the food down and walked away. We tried to catch him to place our dinner order, to get utensils, napkins and plates and to get refills on our drinks but he turned around and kept walking. He never acknowledged that we needed refills or anything to eat with or on and we didn't know how long it would be before he came back. I will say that the section we were in was busy and we only noticed 2 people working that area. We watched our waiter as he hustled between several tables but never returning to ours. Mind you, our food is just sitting there and we're waiting to eat but every time he would pass us we would try to get his attention but he either didn't hear us or was ignoring us. I'm going to assume he didn't hear us because this went in for some time. A third person who looked like maybe a manager came by and noticed we had empty glasses and refilled them and gave us utensils and plates. Our waiter returns to check on us finally after about 15-20 minutes to take away the empty appetizer basket and we have to remind him that he still hasn't taken our order. At this point we've been seated for about 45 minutes and still haven't ordered our dinner. We get our order placed; 2 pizzas and some wings (LOVE their pizza!!) and watch some football and basketball. Our food comes out and the person bringing it notices that we don't have pizza racks for our table. He leaves the pizzas on the tray to get the racks and our waiter, who is going back and forth between tables across from us tried squeezing himself between the table and the tray. We watch him do this twice, each time his clothes brushing up against the crust of our pizza- gross! And you guessed it, the third time he catches the edge of the pizza and drags it off the tray with his clothes!! Half of one of the pizzas is now in the ground. So let me say that when you're a waiter/ waitress, how you act or react during a patrons visit will determine that guests enjoyment of that establishment and if they will return. Our waiters reaction was to stand there with his hands over his mouth. He did apologize by saying that he didn't mean for that to happen. We already knew he didn't do it on purpose but come on! What did you think was going to happen? The third person is back with the pizza racks and is trying to figure out how our pizza ended up in the floor. He serves us what's left of our dinner and walks alway. Our waiter returns stating that they will replace the pizza and it will be out soon. Ok! Redeeming the situation, good for him, I like it. Still not happy with the service up till then but he's trying to fix it, right? So by the time the "replacement " pizza comes out, we are pretty much done with dinner. The replacement pizza was a small (we ordered a large). We figure that's fine, they replaced what was dropped I guess however the slices on a small are smaller so it doesn't really equal out. This was a half and half pizza so it's not like my boys were both eating the whole thing. They each got half and now one of my boys has less than his half. At that point we were just ready to get out of there. Our waiter brings us our check and says he'll have them remove the pizza and sorry for the trouble. Ok, still trying to make up for the mistake. That's good. NOPE! What he meant was that they weren't going to charge us for the replacement pizza. We still had to pay for everything else! What?!? Of course you shouldn't charge us for what you screwed up. There shouldn't even be any question of that, but to not offer any kind of discount for what happened? I'm so disappointed in Bubba's 33. A manger never came over to acknowledge what happened. I can say that it will be a very long time before we ever go back. That is not how your treat customers. read more

We went here last night. There was a line so we went and sat at the bar, right as we sat down they called us to be seated in the other location but we stayed at the bar. Our waiter was soo nice and attentive. our appetizer was there within 5 minutes. our drinks came out soon after and then our food was there not 10 minutes later. The food was great. The food was excellent. Service promptness was above the bar. Bartenders are young and inexperienced. I told them the exact measurements I wanted on my drink. I told them part liqueur, 3 parts sweet and sour, 4 parts soda. watched them make 1 part liqueur. Unmeasured sweet and sour and soda (equivalent to 9!parts sweet and sour). No bar manager here or anyone running the bar over 21. Definitely need to stick to pouring beer. Saw 3 different people complain about drinks. Saw them make a drink missing missing an ingredient. Asked them the ingredients to that drink. They didn't know and didn't care to look. FINALLY the service manager David came on duty. Knew exactly what was in the drink. Promised to fix the problem. Worth a second chance. Even took the drink book and conducted an on the spot training with the bartenders. They offered to take the drinks off our tab. We declined. Our first time here. Read reviews on the one in Corpus Christi when this one was being built. Reviews said food was good, service was horrible. So we were a little hesitant to try them out. But all I've got to say is WOW, we had the Big O Rings as an appitizer, delicious. I had ths the Sunshine Burger and wife had bbq wings and everything was great. Wow worst service i have ever received on a football Sunday in any restaurant! Not only did i have to walk back up to the front after 10 minutes of being seated but i politely waited for the manager to finish her conversation with other guests about how great their visit was, just to complain about my visit. She said she would take care of what she could, being " complimentary appetizers" two of our liking for free, not only did i decline the offer when speaking to our rude server but she had the audacity to mention the fact that she would be taking care of us because we had " ""apparently"" waited 10 minutes" and at that point it had been 20+ minutes despite the attitude. Most horrible atmosphere ive been in recently and to think i had been here 50 or more times just to be treated like nothing. I came for opening night and have been a regular ever since. They have a huge staff so the service is great. There are plenty of people to check on you making sure you have anything you need. The food is great! The shotgun shrimp appetizer is my favorite. The pizza is also really good! Frozen glasses for the beer so it's really cold. My wife and I have eaten at Bubba's several times and were satisfied with the service and food ... until tonight. We waited almost 10 minutes after being seated before someone came to the table to take our drink order. He even wrote it down and still it was delivered wrong. We ordered the lasagna and a 12" Hawaiian pizza. Lasagna was good. Pizza crust was very burnt. Looks like Bubba's 33 can scratch 2 customers. Lucky for the manager, I usually don't leave them a butt to sit on. My wife asked me to let it go, we just won't come back. This place has some really good food. The burgers here are delicious . I love the adult drinks which taste amazing and arnt to strong. The onion rings are definitely another favorite of ours. There super fresh and crispy. I give it four stars because I feel some of the waitresses shorts are too short. This place has a bar area but it's also a family restaurant. If it was an adult restaurant then it would be fine but since kids are welcomed I don't necessarily approve of girls walking around in skimpy shorts taking kids milk shake orders. Usually fries are forgettable "filler" in restaurants, but these had so much flavor without being overly salty. The turtle pie dessert was quite good, too. Came to see what all the fuss was about, the wait for a table is from an hour to two. Even for just 3 people. We sat at the bar and ate there. Frozen margaritas are awesome! The appetizer's are delicious! Fried pickles are spicy. Their glazed shrimp is spicy too for those with heartburn issues like me. Dinner was a single bacon burger with fries. Great taste and portion size. Was disappointed that nachos only have chicken no fajitas. Place opens up at 4pm not earlier than that. Tv screens everywhere with sports, music to watch. I would give 4-5 stars if the service wasn't so terrible. We went opening week and waited twenty minutes before a server came and even then the manager had to take our order. We didn't let it bother us because the food is excellent AND it was opening week - they were packed. Fast forward a month and the SAME thing happens. We wait fifteen minutes for our server before asking someone who the server was. Five minutes later the most glum 20 year old comes up. As she is taking the drink order, I say to my son, loud enough for her to hear, "I will take you the bathroom but let me order our food first." It was clear we were ready to order (I had said so AND the menus were put away) but instead of taking our order she turns and leaves. It's probably 15 more minutes before she comes back with our drinks and we get to order. After the kitchen staff brought out our food, she came over probably 25 minutes later to check on us (she was not on the floor at any point during this time). At this point we were finished and ready for the check. It took another 15 minutes for the check. Once he left the card, I took our son to the car to wait, where it was another 15-20 minutes before he came out. All in all, we probably spent near or over two hours between the wait for the table and all the waiting in the restaurant. read more

Food is good. The TV's are big and are all over the place. They can change the channel for you if there's a specific game you want to watch. We came here for the first time last Sunday to watch the raiders game. We tried to regular pepperoni pizza. It was pretty good. My 6 year old daughter loved it because she ate 3 whole slices. She usually just eats one but she kept grabbing slices and let us know the last slice was hers. She was so stuffed but she kept saying how delicious the pizza was. We also tried the onion rings and they are delicious.. Probably the best I have ever had. They are soft and crispy and the seasoning is great. We stopped by this past weekend to watch another raider game and decided to try the philly cheese steak n it was delicious. The fries are the shoestring fries and are also crispy and delicious. Been here 3 times now and returned with first timers each time. I would not have returned otherwise. At least until they worked out the hiccups. It's a new restaurant and very loud and busy. I enjoyed the multiple tv's. The food is burgers, pizza, wings and more. First visit they added cheese to my burger. Second visit took a long time. Third visit was today and at least 3!out of 4 of us had to ask for things we ordered. Our food didn't come out together. We were disappointed. Most of the mistakes were cause by having 3 different servers I think. We were sat in bar area and several wait staff approached us. Like no one knew who was suppose to wait in us. Awkward. Well it's our 2nd pizza place we have tried since moving from California. And what a disappointment. I ordered 2 pizzas and the cheese fries and not only was it expensive but was not worth it. The portion of the fries was about the size of your palm and it was cold and stale. Like it was someone's leftovers. The pizza's had way too much sausage. Toppings should be evenly proportioned. But I guess if you want fast then this is what you get. Was going to be a weekly customer if it was good since your down the street but I guess we will keep experiencing elsewhere. read more

I was looking forward to eating here, but left annoyed that we had just spent $60 for three people to eat below average food. As an appetizer, we got the onion rings and they were SO salty, to the point that my cousin couldn't even eat them. I love salt and even I agreed they were too salty. The batter had no taste other than salt. For an entree, I got the shrimp poboy and loaded fries. The poboy was decent, and the shrimp had a good sauce coating but the fries were awful. They're shoestring fries and the loaded fries consist of imitation cheese sauce poured over them and bacon bits on top. The taste was awful, I couldn't even eat them. Our waitress was inattentive and didn't seem to care if she received a tip or not. I've already told a few people not to bother checking this place out, because I don't want anyone to feel as ripped off as I did. Spend your money elsewhere. read more

The food is amazing! I got the wild shroomin burger with sweet potato fries it was delicious and it was a lot of food. Was also very affordable. We couldn't have asked for a better waitress she was great! The reason I gave it four stars instead of 5 is because of the high chairs. We were put at a floor table and the high chair they gave us for our two year old was wayyy too tall for the table his knees were literally above the table, there would have been no way for him to even reach his food. So we measured it to the booth that was behind us because it had a step up, now the chair was too. Low our son was eye level of the edge of the table. So when our waitress came back we asked her if they had any different high chairs and explained why. She apologized and said that a lot of customers complain about it, but the only other chair they had to offer was a "booster chair" and it was for the booths only. So we decided to go with that, we moved to a booth and she brought us a booster chair but really was just a shortened high chair in my opinion. Now the problem was that it sat back too far from the table and gave the rest of us no room whatsoever. They definitely need to look into getting different high chairs and boosters! Otherwise I highly recommend this place it's great! read more
