I've eaten at this particular Charleys Cheesesteaks three times over the past twenty or so years. I gotta tell you that all three times the food was served hot and delicious. The employees were friendly and courteous during each visit as well. The dining room could use some updating...perhaps new seat cushions or cushion covers to cover the rips and stains. Bottom line: I will be back again one day for some more delicious cheesesteak sandwiches with crunchy fries right out of the deep fryer. Oh, of course I do recommend giving them a try. read more

Order missing items (again)! I love cheesesteak and I was hoping Charley's wouldn't disappoint. Sadly, they have. Three strikes and they're out! We had gone there twice before and ordered online yet still they got our order wrong. Luckily, the first two times we picked up our order and were able to get it fixed. This time we ordered via the app and they still forgot the bacon cheese fries. We called and the manager assured us that he personally packed the fries. The bag we received was tied and filled to the top and there was no way they could have fit in the same bag as the sandwiches. I think they gave our bag with the fries to the wrong driver but I'm still wrong according to their personal packer. We will no longer order from this Charley's in the Forum. The sticky floors should have been our warning when we walked in. The service was good with the staff very friendly. The food was overly gooey when they they poured too much sauce on the sandwich making it hard to eat. They also put waay too many banana peppers on our sandwich that made it also inedible. Giving this place a one year review ... me and my gf come very once in a while and every time we eat here the philly stakes are amazing !!! This palace is delicious!! For two people you can spend anywhere around 20$ I spent 17$ because I ordered a small sandwich and my gf the combo sandwich and we shared fried and drinks because it's a lot . Yeah their were sometimes where the fries came out to salty or they put to much mayo but you can just tell them and they will make you another one ... they're super nice if you are too !!! The restaurant itself, however was filthy, trash all over the floor, sticky tables and I dare not even venture to the bathroom. The new fancy coke machine is completely out of commission. The drinks they do have are not mixed correctly and taste horrible. We asked for lemonade and all I could taste was whatever they had used to clean the container it came from. Their sign shows a small chicken philly with fries for $4.99 and I pointed to it and ordered it and a drink. When I got my sandwich, I asked for my fries, the guy was like... Hugh. I said never mind and sat down. I then got back up and ordered a small fry. I just feel like if you are going to advertise a combo for 4.99 it should be just the sandwich. Absolute garbage for the second time in a row. I work at a nearby ER. We just ordered $60 worth of food for lunch and the order was completely wrong. Firstly, it took 15 minutes just to place the order because the person on the phone couldn't seem to understand. She read back the orders incorrectly over and over again. We finally had to ask to have someone else take the order. So we finally got them to read it back correctly, but when we picked it up it was still all wrong. 4 sandwiches, 3 of them were incorrect. 3 combo meals, but they didn't give us the fries. And finally, when I tried calling them to complain, they didn't pick up the phone. It goes straight to a voice mailbox which is full. I definitely recommend you avoid this shop at all costs.
