I placed a to-go order at 5:09 pm, so I could pick up my food on the way to school. I have night class at 6, figured I'd walk in, get my food and go. Walked in at 5:29, they had not even started making the order. So I waited till it was done at 5:36(fast time when making it, too bad they waited till I showed up to start a to-go order), and had to rush to campus and eat my wrap very quickly. I usually really like Jimmy John's. My daughter and I were heading home from Round Rock and needed something to eat because it's usually quick and decent food. The guy that was checking us out, in between pushing the buttons on the screen, was picking his teeth with his fingers. I thought, well at least he's not making sandwiches. Shortly after we got our food, which for some reason took a lot longer than food at Jimmy John's does, I noticed that he had moved to making sandwiches. I hope that he washed his hands, luckily he was wearing gloves. The food itself was not of the quality that I usually expect from JJ. My sandwich had a giant glob of onion about halfway through that it wasn't supposed to have. I'm not sure if that just influenced my opinion, I really don't like raw onions, but the rest of the sandwich was just kind of meh and I didn't end up finishing it. While I usually recommend Jimmy Johns, I dont think I'll be coming back to this location. read more

Went to Jimmy Johns on 2 June on Pat Booker Rd the cashier Larissa was extremely rude, and had an attitude. She didn't listen to our order which in turn came out wrong then when we told her that was not what we ordered she got irritated with us for her mistake. Part of our order was still missing when we got it and again when we asked her for our side sauces we paid extra for she was rude and made us feel like we were inconveniencing her. I have always heard great things but had never tried Jimmy John's. Disappointed. Ordered the #4, the turkey. Tasted sour, like something had been soaked in pickle juice, but not one of the listed ingredients. It would've been great as an 8 inch vegetarian sandwich, as there was a lot of lettuce and tomato, but four very small, thin slivers of turkey (equal to less than 2 small thin slices attempting to cover 8 inches). I took off some of the lettuce, cut the sandwich in a quarter and had a nice small finger sandwich, even though it was sour tasting. The bread was good (which is a positive since you have 8 inches of it with little else). Beautiful young woman behind the counter: never said a word, never smiled, looked as if she really disliked this job and her parents forced her to take it. I spent some time looking at the menu since I've never been there before and even made the comment, "I've never been here before ".
