We ordered onion rings and they actually came out after the sides to our entrees, but no big deal. Some of my group thought the onion rings were too greasy, but they were hot & crispy. I enjoyed them a lot and a full order was enough for the 6 of us to share. Served with ranch and some kind of sweet BBQ ranch for dipping. My fiancé & I shared a ribeye plate. It came with 2 sides. I got a salad and he chose the chili. Salad was really good - I love the potato straws that come on it. Allergy alert: salad has chopped boiled egg on it. Chili was tasty too (topped with cheese). The ribeye was cooked medium, just like I requested and it was plenty for the both of us to share. I believe it was 14 oz. Great grill marks and the doggy will be happy to get a few bites of fat in her "doggy bag." The server was attentive, but we had to ask for silverware & napkins, and we waited too long for the check to come out. With that and the appetizer not coming out first, I'm docking a star. We were in this area last night and decided to eat. Unfortunately, everybody in the group wanted something different. Pulling up the trusty Yelp, we found this place with its 4 star rating. We were nearby and set off to find it. We drove up and the place was packed. That's usually a very good sign. We walked in and found a very busy, large, fun, and loud place. Over 50 HD television screens are on the walls all over the place. On many, they had the Spurs playoff game cranked up. The enthusiastic Spurs fans were rocking as they were pounding the Grizzlies. The wait staff was very good, and since we had never been in before, were willing to give us their favorite selections as recommendations. We started with onion rings, and they were excellent. They come with Ranch and a house concoction. They also have Heinz on the table. We ended up all ordering something different. I ordered a Hawaiian pizza. Other selections included burgers and chicken strips. Pizza was very good as were the chicken strips. Only complaint was with the sweet sauce on the burger. Great sports bar with decent food, great service, and ice cold draft beer. Great spot to catch a game and have a few drinks (there is a full bar). From what I understand they can get really busy which is a good thing. I had their spicy chicken sandwich with a side salad and my sandwich was indeed spicy and satisfying. My compadres had a pile of wings and said they were awesome. They have a good selection of draft beer and I was pleasantly surprised that they had 2 Sam Adams beers on tap. I went here on a Saturday evening to meet up with some friends for dinner. Chain restaurants are hit or miss, but I figured I would try their wings to compare to other places. The restaurant has three different sections: a sit-down dining area, open bar horse-shoe section, and a separate, more open seating bar area with a few bar games. It wasn't too crowded since there weren't any major sports events that night, and we were seated immediately. I ordered six traditional "Shotgun" wings, and six smoked chipotle wings. They came out pretty quick, about 15 minutes. The Shotgun wings were yellowish/tan in color and had kind of a creamy, slightly spicy flavor in taste. The smoked chipotle wings were brownish/maroon in color and were sweeter tasting. Each wing was thoroughly cooked with no crisp, and I couldn't really pick up on any smoked taste in the chipotle wings. The wings were tossed in each sauce, but seemed lacking and could have been a little more generous. The skin to fat ratio was about half and half. Overall pleasant experience. Good service and laid back sporting atmosphere. Rating the food alone though, the wings were mediocre at best. I do not think I will be ordering wings again from Bubba's if I ever go there again. read more

Went here tonight and it was really good! I had the bacon, bacon burger and it was delicious! The bacon is cooked into the meat and there are 2 strips on the burger also. I had their onion rings and I'd have to say that they are some of the best I've ever had! We also had their fried jalapeño cream cheese and was it tasty!!! We had a slight problem and Jacob (the manager) came over and fixed it. He's awesome!! Our service with Laural (I think that was her name) was great! I recommend this place and found out they are owned by Texas Road House. read more

Just ate here for the first time. Very impressive with great service and terrific atmosphere. We had the fish & chips which are excellent. Only downside in my opinion, the coleslaw is a bit too sweet which can be toned down with a little apple cider vinegar and the tartar sauce needs to lose the sweet relish. Check out Sea Island's tartar sauce, best in town. Many people prefer to eat their fish with malt vinegar and Bubba's had none. read more

We checked the waitlist online before arriving at 3pm on Monday, July 4. It showed 0 to 10 minutes wait. When we arrived the hostess said the wait was 30-40 minutes due to a lack of staff. We were seated approximately 2 minutes later. We ordered pizza, a stromboli and fried shrimp. While waiting I used the restroom and I can safely say the Covid cleaning restrictions are definitely gone. I would have take a power washer to that bathroom. There was filth about a foot up the walls and doors and what appeared to be dried mouthwash caked around the faucet handles. When our food arrived it was lukewarm at best and we were provided plasticware in cellophane (take out utensils) because they had no clean silverware. No table had actually silverware. My daughter's shrimp was slightly undercooked as the breading was not crunchy but very wet. When I asked for a box for the pizza I was provided a take out container that I had to fold the pizza slices up to get them inside. They had no pizza boxes. It seemed there was less of a "lack of staff" issue and more of a "lack of skilled management" situation going on. They were washing plates, they couldn't wash silverware? No napkins aside from the ones that go under drinks? Dirty restaurant and restroom. Thankfully, we had a good server but he could only do what he could do. I like this place but my fear is they will be closed within a year. read more

My wife and I ate here tonight. We had the Veggie Pizza, and the Dickie V. They reminded me of New York Pizza I ate as a kid. The service was very good. Drink was kept full and food arrived quickly.
