Funny story, I googled Bubba's Bbq on Lyft and I actually ended at Bubba's 33, long story short we ended up at the wrong restaurant. We ended up staying. I'm always looking for a deal and noticed they had 2 meals with an appetizer for $40. We ordered salmon with rice medley and broccoli. My boyfriend had ribeye ($5 up charge) with mashed potatoes and broccoli. We ordered the onion rings as an appetizer. Also saw that they had $5 drinks and opted for an All American. I received my drink within minutes and our appetizer (onion rings ) arrived hot with a very tasty sauce. Our food arrived promptly. My salmon well seasoned, rice and broccoli very well cooked. My boyfriend's ribeye was cooked medium well very well seasoned, reminded of Sizzler's immediately when I took a bite. Our server was very attentive. Long story short, ended up at a very good restaurant with descent prices and very good tasting food. I would highly recommend if in the Brandon area
This used to be one of my favorite places to go for lunch or dinner but honestly the service and quality is just not there anymore. We stopped in for dinner last week and from the hostess table to our server and even the lady who brought us our pizza no one seemed happy to be working. Our waiter was nice until when we addressed an issue with our onion rings we received it changed their attitude completely. After that when our other food came out and we had issues we didn't even want to address it because how the first time went. So we just ate some of what we had, paid on the little kiosk and left. I've been coming here since they first opened and it's definitely changed since.
Went with a large group of friends after Sunday service, about 13. Although our call-ahead seating "reservation" seemed to have been lost, they accommodated quickly enough to give us two huge booths. The ambiance inside is typical sports bar, so did not disappoint. The hostess stand and manager as well as our waitress were all very friendly and accommodating with such a large group. That makes a huge difference for customer satisfaction! Everyone was happy with their lunch choices, from burgers to salmon everything came out good or great. That can be a difficult thing to do, making sure everyone was happy about their entree. I know my hubby and I were! Hunny said the spicy burger didn't have much heat, but we do find that to be the case with spicy burgers a lot. Understandable I suppose. Hubby's burger and my Monte Cristo were of a healthy portion, and our sides of fries and tots were so good as well. Our happy answer to the magic question of if we would return, is an absolute yes! Upbeat atmosphere, friendly and accurate service along with good food, we were pretty content! Looking forward to returning to try more entrees and drinks, and get more of those perfectly crispy tots!
I've been coming to this Bubba's 33 location since their opening week in November of 2021. It is the restaurant I have frequented most every year since then. The high quality and consistency of food and service keep me coming back. I would consider the restaurant to be American themed, with red, white, and blue decor, American beers and sports items adorning the walls. Hit songs from the 80's to the 2000's are always playing accompanied by the music videos on some of the many television screens. It is a family restaurant but certainly encourages alcohol consumption, as the "33" in the name stands for the year 1933 in which prohibition ended. I have tried almost all of the food items on the menu. You can't go wrong with the pizza or burgers. They have such a solid menu, I could eat any item and be happy with it. Service is consistently outstanding. Overall, this restaurant is an excellent choice for dinner.
We've always passed by Bubba's but never had the time to stop by until our most recent visit. Parking is easy to find, it sits next to Texas Roadhouse. We were seated immediately for a party of four on a Friday night. The vibes are nice and service is definitely on point. Kid's Pepperoni Pizza: 5/5, delish and light. Kid's Chicken Nuggets: 4/5, fries were good! Bacon Cheeseburger: 5/5, very good. Chicken wings: 2/5, we ordered Buffalo hot but got teriyaki instead. Overall, it was a great visit. We even got a coupon to use on our next visit since it was our first time there. The only reason this visit was not 5 stars was because we didn't know we were being charged $4.99 to use their Ziosk because it didn't say anywhere that we had to pay to use or play it so we felt blindsided. The other star knocked off is because we got teriyaki wings instead of buffalo and it wasn't too bad of a taste but not what we wanted. Food did also take exceptionally long, we waited probably 30 minutes for our food but thankfully the waiter asked if we wanted the kids food first and we said yes so they probably knew the food was gonna take long. That's why we didn't complain about getting the teriyaki wings because we didn't want to extend our time there. It was a good experience but I don't know if it's good enough to come back. We will see.
Hallie was a great server! We had a good time with good food, good drinks and good prices. We don't live close but it would be worth the drive to come back again!
So we have been to the Bubbas in NC and the food is always good. Felt like a drive today so we headed over to Brandon to check out our local ish one. Big place! Lots of seats so got a nice booth by a window. Grabbed the fried pickles to start. Still a little too thin for me but tasty. These were a little too salty for me as well. For mains I landed on the fried chicken sandwich with mild sauce. Huge piece of chicken. Cooked really nice. So tender and the mild was a good heat. Deb got the lasagna and a side salad. Large portion with lots of cheese! Tasty Our server was nice. Took a while to check on us after we ordered but the food came out quick and hot.
Our server was perfect. Attentive, respectful and all orders 100% correct. Very large inside. Food was great! Definitely will be back
Texas Roadhouse has nothing on its sister brand, Bubba's 33. While Bubba's doesn't have signature buns, their menu can hold its own and their customer service can rival Texas Roadhouse. We joined the online waitlist and were seated in under ten minutes on early Sunday afternoon. Halie was our waitress and was extremely attentive to us from start to finish. My eyes were definitely bigger than my stomach as we splurged on layered cheese fries, Parmesan Garlic and Honey Chipotle BBQ wings, tater tots and a delicious Oreo® Brownie Sundae. Downed it all with the best Tropical Breeze mocktail. This was my second time dining here and it won't be the last.
Always such a solid spot for a casual dinner! The atmosphere is laid-back, the service is friendly, and the food hits the spot every time. Perfect for when you're craving a no-fuss, good meal in a relaxed setting. Definitely a go-to for a chill night out.
Went here with a friend after one of her coworkers recommended this spot to her. The interior is very lively and family-friendly, with lots of TVs showing various sports/entertainment channels. Our waitress, Skyla, was attentive and helpful at getting us out of our indecision on what to order. While the wings looked good, I ended up opting for one of the burger specials. I liked the fried cream cheese on the Spicy Habanero Burger as it was a unique addition that balanced out its spicy flavour profile.
Had a great visit with this Bubba's 33 in Brandon, FL. We are a regular visitor to the Bubba's 33 in Glen Burnie, MD, and Bubba's has a similar theme across all their restaurants. Service was great, atmosphere was great, bier was ice cold, and food was great. The only two items I'd comment on for this visit is; (1) pizza wasn't served straight from the oven. It sat 'in the window' a good 8-10 mins as it was just warm and the cheese had started to solidify. And (2), no manager visited the table. We were in restaurant for 90-minutes and we are used to meeting the managers. Over a great visit and we highly recommend this Bubba's 33 ...
Not your average American bar & grill! I read the mixed reviews but we had a fantastic experience! The ambiance is cool, relaxing and not too loud considering all the TVs. The service was amazing and the food was terrific! Hubby got the Bacon double cheeseburger w/ Bubba sauce which he said was delicious. He said this was the best cheeseburger he has had in a very long time! I ordered the "meaty meaty" pizza w/ no cheese. The crust was light and crispy and the Italian sausage is homemade. We loved it! We will stop here again when up that way!

Family of 4. Our waitress was scrambled, forgot our waters she poured from the start. Appetizer (chips and queso) was good but we did have to ask for more chips for the skillet of dip provided. Waitress never asked us if we were ready to order despite toddler at the table. We ordered a pizza which came out great, lasagna that was hot yet very oily, fried shrimp basket that came to the table cold...very cold. The worst was our child's meal which was the Kids grilled cheese. The sandwich was an inside out hamburger bun with cold cheese and fries. When we asked for a refill on drinks the waitress took partially emptied glasses back to "refill" them. A bit weird. Also had a glass with a large sharp chip in the rim which was disregarded when brought up as dangerous. Manager comp'd bill for the shrimp and kids meal but the overall experience was terrible. read more

Used to go to the Dallas location all the time. This spot in Brandon is about an hour away from me and is brand new. Ate here for lunch today and it was fantastic. The bacon burger is one of the best burgers in the business. They put bacon into their ground beef! The shotgun shrimp are a really good appetizer too. Creamy spicy lightly battered shrimp. I wish they would put one of these closer to clearwater. read more

Went here after work for Happy hour and now it's our got to hang out. Great service from our waitress "Q" she awesome and stayed on top of our table. Ask for her when you go in. The drinks were amazing and the food was delicious. Such a great atmosphere for hanging with the coworkers after a long day of work. Can't wait until our next meet up here read more

This will definitely be our new go-to for a good burger. Its a very stimulating atmosphere with a bar area on one side. TVs surround you but the noise level was okay. The food was delicious. The queso was also delicious but unfortunately the chips were stale. We asked for new ones but she was just honest and told us they're all in the same bin in the back. She brought us a new basket but they were just old. We had to send it back :/ She did take it off the bill, though. We were both very happy with our burgers & fries, although hubs asked for no onions and got them anyway. Overall we left happy and look forward to returning. read more

Been to this location several times. Our waitress Tre'Shaun this evening was the best we've had. She was so sweet & attentive. The garlic knots & margaritas were fabulous as usual. Will definitely continue to visit for a relaxed evening out. read more
Dinner with 4/5 of my family last night. It's nice to go out as a family when we can, even if it's only with 2 of my boys. We chose Bubbas 33 by my house in Brandon/Riverview border since they have something for everyone. Check out what the four of us ordered ... * Layered Cheese Fries * 14oz. Signature Ribeye with Garlic mashed potatoes * Side Salad (my favorite of the night with those fried potato shavings!) * Cheeseburger and Fries * Chicken Tender with Fries and Tots * Pepperoni Pizza These were probably the most generously topped cheese fries we've had in a while. My ribeye was more rare than the medium rare I asked for but I didn't waste the server or kitchen staffs time by sending it back as they were so swamped. So I'll own the undercooked steak and move on. Everything else was as tasty as you'd expect. Pro tip - If you're going to the Brandon FL location, get there before dinner time so you don't have an hour plus wait like we did when we got there at 6:30! I'm glad they're always mobbed when we go to eat there, means good things for the restaurant and staff!! read more
First off the fries here are amazing! Let's get that straight right now. I got the regular cheeseburger with bacon added. Very crispy bacon and fresh hamburger patties. All the food that came was super fresh and flavorful! Loved it. Now the only thing negative I'd have to say was our waitress wasn't the quickest nor did she really pay attention. Karly was hard to find when our table needed refills and dropped the food off and really didn't see her until the end of our meal. Which she ran my card for not just my order but another table as well. Hopefully in the future I can come back and give this place a full 5 stars. But I'm here to leave my opinion. This was my first time in this establishment and was a bit leery of ordering a pizza but I was in the mood for pizza and the pictures looked good. I am so glad I did because it turned out to be one of the absolute best pizzas Ive ever tasted! This is a pic of the Dickie V pizza named after legendary basketball coach and announcer as well as cancer survivor, Dick Vitale. Part of the proceeds go to fighting cancer. I look forward to my next one. read more

I had promised my Girlfriend a long day of Shenanigans, especially on her days off. Started with coffee and after a couple detours n distractions of responsibilities, We were supposed to go across the street for light lunch. My gps followed the wrong satellite position. Theres a couple businesses there that are not physically there but show up on Yelp n or Google maps. We were here so we both agreed to come inside. First time eating here for me. Nice big building, i felt the Texas vibes from the competition. This one though, less louder and very spacious. I like their Theming a lot more. Sporty but has that College Frat Boy Vibe lol , Number shaped beer cans on the walls, Shirts, tvs you name it. I have gotten wast......INSPIRED before and brought fun stuff like that to my house lol. They got a cute Car trunk turned into a sofa at the entrance, i low key wanted to take it with me lol. Inside i was greeted by the Greeter who was figuring out where to put us. As i waited i saw their specials and they also had this nifty hand made Pinko Machine for those that buy the $100 gift card. U get to slide it down and win more add ons. Cute stuff. We were soon after seated and had the pleasure of being attended by Ms. Carley. She was informative, kind and energetic. Gave us a run down of the drink specials. I went with a Russian uhhh.. O_o (i kinda crossed to Valhalla last night so i will explain this the best i can.) That drink that comes in the brass cups, it had ginger beer, mint, Vodka. It was so good! My Girlfriend went with something pink that came in a mason jar. I got to show her what i can do with my mouth, with her Cherries. I didn't think that was a big deal lol. I can shoot a bow from behind my back n hit stuff, but apparently making knots with stems means something better? Lol Sense we came for apps we both chose; Loaded fries. Just cheese and blue cheese all over. No bacon for her. (I cry in silence). Added the Cheese sticks and ordered a side of their chili. I was hoping to see Soups in the salad options but alas only in the Sides options. Tiny bowl of godly spicy chili. I swear i could've eaten a big bowl of that!. Ir was so freaking delicious!! Chunky, tangy. Huge chunks of meat n veggies. It had something underneath its layers and every spoonful i could taste it. It was that yummy delicious hot spice. The bowl was tiny but it was actually BOMB for its size. Would recommend it. I will ask them if they could just charge me 3 n put them in a bowl. The cheese that came with it was Legit fantastic to. It kept sticking to my throat like it wanted to fight for its life lol. We got the fries and then the cheese sticks. YOO~~! The cheese sticks are freaking huge! They are built just like churros. They held me back a bit. We both stared at them and after my GF broke one in half. We then continued to gobble them. They were phenomenal! Nice tasty cheese, stringy to. Size and quantity vs price is actually worth it. Same as the loaded fries! That was a big plate of fries nuked with cheese n the blue cheese. Tasty, balanced crunch and soft. Good flavor and yet to much for us lol. Had to take it to go. Carley was amazing Server. She came over plenty of times. Checked on us and even just Socialize with us. I enjoy talks like those with staff, not many places have staff willing to bond with costumers. Looking around she did a great job with her zone, checked on everybody just the same. Round one on the day drinking we waited patiently, I had to drive us to an appointment afterwards. Over all i loved the place. I seriously enjoyed the food n the visit. I also hope we didn't bordered anybody, my Brat was getting testy n this Dom doesn't care where we at. Im a 24hour type. I will be definitely coming back, we only did apps next time I'm doing dinner. read more

I have mixed feelings about this place. I would give it 3.5 stars if I could.The atmosphere is entertaining-there are televisions galore with sports, chive tv and music videos playing. The food was actually pretty good.I had a mushroom burger that had garlic aioli and was absolutely delicious. I had fire fries along with it which were also tasty, but holy toledo were they spicy! My husband had a Buffalo chicken sandwich that he said was cooked perfectly.My only complaint was the service.The host was fine but our waitress didn't come for at least 10 minutes, if not more.Based on this we made a point to order our food at the same time we ordered our drinks. Then it took forever to get our drinks to us. I would give this place another chance only because the food was good. read more

We came by for lunch of Friday and it was very busy but we were seated right away. Our waitress came to take drink orders but we ordered lunch as reviews said waitresses can be hard to find. We ordered 10 boneless Teriyaki wings ($8.99), Patriot burger ($10.99) and kale and quinoa salad ($11.99) with a tea ($2.99) and water. We were so very surprised how quickly our wings came out. The were good but we should have ordered a bit spicer. Our food came out 15 minutes later and was very good. The patriot burger was good size the there were plenty of french fries. The Kale and quinoa salad was fresh and crisp and the berries were also very nice. Our waitress was very attentive and we had a very nice lunch. The one down side we saw was that is was very loud. The bathrooms were also clean and well kept. Overall a good lunch, will be back to try other things. read more

I came to Bubbas 33 with my brother for a burger and really enjoyed the experience. We were seated right away and got our drink and appetizer order. They had $4 drink specials so I for the watermelon margarita and it was refreshing! As an appetizer we got the spinach dip at the recommendation of the server and it did not disappoint. The sour cream was a a delicious addition and the garlic bread was good! I didn't get a picture of my mushroom burger but it was juicy and huge! I couldn't finish my crispy fries. read more

First time visiting Bubbas 33, which is nestled in a quick-growing retail area. Several hotels have popped up recently, and couple this with the growth in Brandon, you can see why this is a good fit. This is a classic, American bar and grill. I started out at the bar, as I was awaiting my guests to arrive. The bar was full and busy, but the staff seemed a little preoccupied with entering tickets into their POS and it took a little time to get someone's attention so that I could place my order. You can tell that the spot gets busy during sports games, and this was just a random Wednesday, so I wonder how well the staff will respond to a heavy crowd. The table wait was 25 minutes, again, not bad for the crowd. Our waitress was pleasant and quickly took our orders. We started with a half order of onion rings, such were made well, although a tad bit greasy. We also ordered the garlic Knots, which unfortunately didn't arrive until our entrees were served. I opted for a mushroom burger, my wife the fried shrimp. Bubbas 33 offers many many side choices, and they are a little off the beaten path i.e. chili. Overall, the food was what you'd expect, and the service was good, but a bit slow. It's solid for what it is, and the only reason not to rate them higher is due to the service. read more
Chorizo Cheese Dip is delicious!! Hands down one of the better dip appetizers that I've had in a long time. Burger is yummmie! I prefer the single patty. We had the Deluxe 33 pizza too. The dough is really really good and it had a lot of toppings. Worth it. read more

We had a great time at bubba 33. We were greeted at the door with smiling faces. The hole staff was amazing and friendly. Our server was dj he was great and explained some of the items to us. My had a turkey bacon sandwich with fries.i had their signature bacon cheeseburger. The bacon cheeseburger was absolutely amazing great flavor doesn't even describe it everybody it got better. Had onion rings with mine they were great too. Wife loved her turkey bacon burger one of the best she's had. Can't wait to go back and try their wings and maybe a pizza as well. Awesome place lots of TVs great staff great people. Probably go back on Thursday just to try something different. read more

I attended their sneak preview. Free food and drink with a limited menu. The staff was extra friendly. We sat in the bar/patio. Loud with all the TVs and music, but manageable. We enjoyed all of our entrees. read more

It was pretty good. The selection was okay, we were seated quickly, the prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere was relaxed. The reason for only 4 stars is for 2 things; the restaurant was open (they have huge windows) to the outside air and we were smoked out by burning rubber or something, the other reason was they put chili on my mashed potatoes (gross) it was awful. I really doubt that this is a California practice, I had the California chicken dinner. read more

We went to Bubba's 33 on December 31, 2024 at 2:30. The place was busy and we had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated. Once we were seated we were not greeted or waited on for 15 minutes. There were several waiters in our area and non spoke to us at all. A waitress finally came up to our table and told us that our waiter was on a break and she would take care of us. We ordered two beers, one bottle with a cold glass and one draft and a large pizza. She came back with our beers and without a cold glass. I asked her again for a cold glass and she said there weren't any cold glasses. Another person from the kitchen brought us the pizza, which looked really good. The waitress came back and I asked her for another beer. She immediately, without going to the bar to place my drink order, started taking the table below ours order. 15 minutes later a manager came up and asked us how our meal was and told him great but I had been waiting on my drink for 15 minutes and was just about done eating. He had my drink and a cold glass to me within a couple of minutes. We received our check and paid for it on the table gadget. The waitress came to our table to explain that she put one of the other table's appetizers on our check and wanted to give us a gift card for a free appetizer, we said no and asked her to refund the amount to our CC. This kind of gave her an attitude and she gave us 8.00 in cash. The food was good, the place was clean but the service was terrible! Even the hostess had a hard time smiling and treating people professionally. read more
I came 3 times now. First time excellent service. Second time great service just a bit slow on the service. It was a bit slow on the food getting there but it was very busy, a packed house. Third time service started out bumpy. When he asked about getting our drinks, we asked for lemon in the water, it mask the chlorine flavoring in the drink. So after the second asking he brought out a little dish with lemon. The first visit we ordered fish and chips along with lasagna with garlic knots. The second time was the burger that give houses to wounded veterans southern fried chicken and Mac and cheese. The third my granddaughter came with us. She got hotdog and fries. We got burger and fry and the super stromboli. I don't recommend the stromboli unless you love basil I picked all mine out and it was very good after that. That's just a matter of ones taste. Over all good visits. I highly recommend this place. It does have a million TV monitors. We will be back possibly give it a five star in the future, as long as service does or tries to do good. The food selection is very good. The stromboli is a bit small with no sides unless you add on one. Taste is my preference and I don't fault them on that I just picked out the basil and it was delicious. The ricotta tasted amazing. Just seating, a bit slow, and reminder of things forgotten. Very minor things as time goes by stars go up. We really like going here. My granddaughter said it's loud, she is autistic. She did like the food. She didn't like the show that Ellen DeGeneres had that she took Michael Obama too a painting studio. It had a nude male model on the show. Even though it was blurred it was on. There was other children about her age there. I was wondering why no one changed the channel, I guess no one monitors. Our server was busy and we were finishing up and leaving. She sure mentioned it in the ride to get some ice cream. Well all for now. read more

Oooohhh yes!!! Calling all gators dockside fans especially those in the temple terrace area, I've found our replacement hang out. I'm talking great food at great prices and a fun sports bar/family spot. Welcome to bubbas 33 now it is about 20-30 away from our block, so watch those extra frosty beer intake numbers the service is great and the food speaks for it self,oh and they've got the good ranch just wait til you see these pics! Yay I'm sooo happy I'll be back next weekend for wings!!! And they have a huge menu loaded with the good stuff read more
