UPDATE - my first review was a 5. This one is a 4. Had the grilled chicken salad on both occasions and the first time it was really good. The second time it would be a 3 and that is due to the grilled chicken seeming like it had either been microwaved too much or had sat for longer than it should have. Second time they also forgot our utensils so when they delivered the food we had to wait for at couple minutes for them to come back so we could ask. I probably could have gotten up and asked someone for the utensils but that's not why this is a sit down restaurant. Other than that all good. Beers are ICE COLD. This place is cool! We ordered the ridiculously amazing onion rings..please don't sleep on those. My dad got a burger, he loved it. The entrees give you 2 sides, and I got the side salad. She had a lot of knowledge about the menu and how everything was made and I really enjoyed her service tonight she went above and beyond to give me the best service that I could possibly have she recommended drinks she recommended appetizers she's a top server in my book. My friend and I went to Bubba's 33 for dinner over the weekend and it was packed! Luckily, we were seated immediately and our server came over pretty quickly. I had the avocado, bacon and chicken sandwich with broccoli while he had the black and bleu burger with fries. Both meals were pretty tasty! Our meal was good, but it took forever to get our food, and was not that busy. They apologized and food was good. We had Boom Boom Shrimp Po Boy, fish and chips and two burgers. Shrimp Po Boy was very good. Lots of shrimp and just enough kick. Fish and chips had 3 nice pieces of fish and 2 sides. Broccoli and fries were good. Kids enjoyed their burgers. Overall food was good and nice and hot. But waiting almost an hour after ordering is too long, especially when there are multiple open tables on a weekend. This was our first time at Bubba's 33, which seems to be hopping all day on Saturday. We thought we'd go early to beat the dinner crowd and I'm glad we did. A seat was found right away in a booth at the bar. Just grab a booth if you see one open. It's first come first serve, or that's what we were told. The menu has a large variety of food items. My husband immediately gravitated towards the onion rings. These large rings where tasty. My better half commented that he liked the light batter and that it wasn't breaded like you see everywhere else. I have to agree with him. These were really good. It was served with their Bubba sauce but you can get ranch dressing if you request it. I didn't notice the seasoning until I got to the rings at the bottom of the basket. I wouldn't have even needed the sauce had I known about the seasoning. Just be prepared to drag those onion rings through that yummy seasoning at the bottom. It's really good stuff. The strawberry iced tea on the other hand was just way too syrupy sweet, and it was that fake flavor. I don't recommend it. I'm not sure why I even ordered that. I ended up refilling it with unsweet tea. I think I'll get a cocktail next time. They look so refreshing in the menu pictures. So, the camera didn't eat first today. I have no pictures of the classic cheeseburger that my husband really liked, nor do I have any pictures of my fish and chips. I don't know what I was thinking. Not that it was amazing or anything like that. I have to say the fish was average. I didn't really detect any of the Samuel Adams Boston Lager in the batter. But the seasoned fries were thin, crispy, and delicious. Hubby said the angus beef patty in his burger was denser and thicker than usual, and he was surprised by that. He seemed happy with everything. It looks like we'll be going back for more visits. Oh, and before I forget to say this. It looks like Five Guys will be opening up a location in between Texas Roadhouse and Bubba 33's. They had closed their restaurants in Brandon, and now I can say that at least one location is coming back. So, yay!! I was so happy to see the "Coming Soon" sign as we were pulling out of the parking lot. Anyway, service was good. There's plenty of parking. Lots of TVs tuned in to all kinds of entertainment (and not just sports). They had music videos, and all good music. It's a great place to get together with friends and coworkers. I'm pretty sure if you could taste Friday afternoon, this would be it. What a treat! I went in for the first time (March 2022) expecting standard and being surprised. I'm inspired to write a sonnet about the chicken sandwich bun alone-and a review after only one visit. Located at the corner of 301 and Causeway in the Brandon area, the parking lot looked busy at noon on a Friday, but it's big inside... and there were plenty of tables-and no wait. It's got a roadhouse/Route 66/Austin, TX vibe and a seemingly simple but fun menu: pizza, burgers, sandwiches, a few pastas and salads. I was thinking: ok, pub food-this will be good but nothing new. But man-the batter on those onion rings (light as air!) and the bun on the chicken sandwich (with lettuce, tomato, bacon, avocado and cheese-I nixed the onions)-chef's kiss! This was quality. Definitely not standard-and so filling! At 11pm, I had a handful of nuts and called it a day-still full! My server was so friendly-prices were reasonable-booths clean and comfy-friends enjoyed their meals, too-parking ample... oh, I'll be back! I was here for the end of prohibition anniversary. This day celebrate that alcohol is finally legalized. Bubba has several cocktails in low price to celebrate the day. It also includes some drinks too. I got the Long Island ice tea, burger, and two different boneless wings. I spend less than $15 because of the special celebration reduced price. The burger has good bacon and meat. The boneless is nice without bone. The sauce is accompanied well with the wing. Overall is a good experience. Bubbas is great for casual dining. Kinda busy with all of the TV screens and music but that is to be expected of a restaurant of this type. The burgers are so good and the prices are great! The wings are really good as well. You must try the raspberry chipotle sauce! (I'd put that ish on everything lol). We've also tried the steaks and they were better than we had expected. They actually cooked them to the right temperature! (Medium and medium rare) The service is friendly and fast. We've never had to ask for refills or flag down our waiter/waitress. First time here... definitely a place I'll try again mainly because the menu has so many different options and I was too full to even try the desserts. Great place to watch your favorite sports, lots of TVs everywhere. Best to make reservations since this is still a new place. I chose the fish sandwich which was very good along with those fries omg. Good french fries will compliment any meal and they had some great french fries. Forgot to take a picture of that pizza seriously their pizza was better the Pizza Hut / Papa John's if you ask me, that crust Drinks- well so many to choose from that's another reason I have to come back. Service was good our waitress was Tina she was very nice. I rated them 4 stars only because I asked for a cocktail and it never came out, she forgot to put it in along with our friends drink as well. Also my husband asked for cheese on his sandwich and they forgot to add it, Tina asked to take it back to add it but my husband declined as he wasn't going to make a big deal over it it was just cheese. Still a great time, we were trying a new place celebrating our anniversary 13 years with friends this was not going to ruin our night. We will be back again sooooo many things on the menu. Pastas, pizza's, burgers, salads, I mean it's something for everyone one. Tip: that queso was delicious but it was a joke if how much you get, you're thinking in a good portion but no it's just the presentation that fools you. This is my wife and I's first time to a Bubba's 33. This laid back, sports bar/restaurant serves up tasty food in a lively atmosphere. Bubba's 33 is located at the corner of Falkenburg Rd and Causeway in Brandon. It just opened this week. My wife and I put our names on the waitlist online for the 1-hour-15-minute wait. We arrived about 30 minutes prior to our expected seating time and checked-in. 5 minutes later, our table was ready. The place was busy but things seems to be moving along well. Our server was around pretty quick and was super friendly. She welcomed us as first timers to a Bubba's 33. We got started with drinks. My wife ordered the Pink Lady Long Island and I wanted their special drink, the Whiskey Bound. Unfortunately, they were all out of them. Not sure if that meant they were out of one ingredient, the three different spirits that goes into it or the pre-made mix. Either way, I settled for a $4 Long Island Iced Tea. This is the exact same drink, in the same mug, that you would get at Texas Roadhouse. It was good and my wife enjoyed hers as well. For an appetizer, we ordered the Chorizo Queso dip. Initially, we were brought out the wrong appetizer. Once our server came around, she got it fixed. A manager brought out the correct one. This appetizer was good. A large skillet with melted cheese, garnished with chorizo crumbles. The chips had a good corn taste to them and were lightly seasoned. For dinner, my wife ordered boneless wings and I got the classic cheeseburger but as a double. Two meat patties, cheese, tomato. Simple but perfect for me. The food didn't take long. My wife really liked the boneless wings. She said they had real all-white meat chicken in them. They were not overly fried and were sauced well. She ordered a side of fries with them. My burger was huge! Two full size patties, stacked on top of each other. Our server mentioned that they are known for their burgers and she was right. This burger was juicy, well seasoned and had a good char on the outside. Slightly pink still on the inside. The fries were ok. I think we've had better fries but these ones did the job. They were thinner and slightly crispy. Lightly seasoned and dipped in some ketchup, they went well with our meals. Bubba's 33 has a lot of different food to choose from. Burgers, wings and pizza are their main options. If you've been to Texas Roadhouse, you'll feel right at home. The experience is very similar, just with a different theme/vibe. Finally got a chance to try Bubba's for lunch. Although busy we were seated immediatly. Love the decor of the place. Decorated with a mish mash if memorabilia, tv's and, always my fav, guitars. Our watress, Ginger was right there to get our drink and app order, half order of onion rings. The rings came all hot and crispy, great beer batter but not heavy. I ordered the spicy shrimp poor boy and the wife the fish sandwich. They came with a mountain of fries and a pickle (nice touch). There was a super generous amount of shrimp all dressed up in a spicy sauce, lettuce and tomato in one of the best deli rolls I've ever eaten. Super fresh p, the roll was the star of the show. Wife's sandwich was similiar except for the fish which tasted and felt more like Tilapia than Cod. As for mine the only thing I would change would be cut down on the sauce a bit. I want to taste the shrimp more. The shrimp was perfectly cooked, not rubbery at all. Def going back to explore the menu more. read more

To be honest, the burger was not very good here. One thing I don't care for is when a burger or sandwich comes with a topping that isn't listed in the ingredients on the menu. The burger I ordered said nothing about a mayo-house sauce, so I was surprised when it showed up on my burger. I tried this place out because I thought it was another business I had been to before but I later found out that wasn't the case. I chose them because they had something for everyone on the menu. We ordered curbside pickup, we expected the food to be ready when we arrived but received a message saying our order wasn't ready yet, even though it was after the time they said it would be available. We waited for about 10,15 or 20 mins; I honestly don't remember how long it took but I know a worker walked up to the car and asked if we were waiting on food. I told her yes; I was confused because usually when you order curbside the process is seamless BUT for some reason it wasn't what we expected at all. The young lady that asked us if we were waiting on food, went inside to get our food and when should brought it out it was pretty much cold. I was a bit annoyed by that BUT we were hungry and already had to wait for our food so didn't really have the patience to tell them our food was cold even though I'm sure they noticed because you could feel it through the box that it wasn't hot. Long story short, If you want your food hot; you probably shouldn't order curbside. The food was ok, I really liked the crooked cheese; that was good and the fries were ok too but cold. My biggest takeaway is go inside and make sure your food is still hot when you take it home. read more

Son in laws stromboli was good but very small for 14.00. Just stromboli nothing else. Do not let the low number of reviews steer you this place just opened on Monday (11/1).  And if the parking lot looks full stop in anyway there is a ton of seating and the lot is a little misleading.  You walk in and you can tell it is new. You smell cedar which personally I love.  There are a TON of booth seating.  Seriously it is all booths except for a few tables in the garage (which is the bar), and then another small row. Very smart in my option.  Though if you have a big group that maybe a little tough. Kiara was our server she is VERY good. Attentive and knowledgeable and if she doesn't know she finds out.  I didn't go very long at out without my soda refilled and she always stopped by to see if we needed something. I also got the $4 sangria margarita,  yummy! The moz sticks are crooked, so fun. And they are really good. There is a good ratio there plus it is a lighter breading than normal which is perfect.  The sauce with them is a good flavor also rounding them out nicely. I ordered the cheeseburger and fries. Which she didn't ask how I wanted it cooked and it was well, no punk, but not burnt.   It was super juicy and really good. The bun was super soft which made it better. They put some kind of seasoning on ut as you could taste it with no bun.  The fries were fine, they are fries, though seasoned. My partner hat the chicken sandwich with hot Buffalo he really liked that also. Same response on the fries. Even asked if I wanted a Dr pepper to go, how awesome I'd that.Yummy!  I think my biggest complaint is I got a side of white queso for my fries and it was yellow,  so made from American cheese.  Which I am allergic to so can't have.  I just didn't eat it and I didn't get charged for it so that works. Running errands when we decided to have some lunch. I suggested Bubbas because for some reason I thought it was a BBQ place. surprise!!! Love the atmosphere and decor. It's a sport bar feel with a comfort feel at the same time. TV's surrounded the room so wherever you sat you could watch if you desired. Our waitress, Ginger was quick to take our orders. We ordered a 1/2 order of onion rings (6). $7 Plenty for two. they were large, crispy and the batter was so light and good. Yummy. There were served with Bubba's sauce which was sweet and spicy. very good. I ordered the Cod fish sandwich with fries. $14. Now I'm from New England, and I have caught and eaten tons of cod. It is a very firm but flaky fish. This was neither. it was soft and a bit mushy. More like Tilapia. It still tasted ok, but not what I expected. It has tomato, onions, pickles and lettuce on it served on a hoagie roll. A big sandwich with incredible bread! I'm very fussy when it comes to fries, but these shoestring fries were hot and awesome. They gave tons of them too. A $50 bill for lunch for two is a bit pricey, but I guess that's the norm these days. It will keep us from going there as often as we'd like, but we will go back. Bubba's 33 - Fried Cod (?) Fish sandwich & Fries - Sports Bars Near Me - Tampa, Florida

I'm sorry but it's a "No" for me. As you walk along the sidewalk outside to enter, the music is piercingly loud. It is a sports bar type restaurant so the inside was loud also with many TV's. Not ideal for a first date if you're hoping to talk bc you'll be yelling back and forth across the table. We asked for two waters with NO Lemon. Shortly after she brought two waters with lemon. We took the lemon off and said nothing. She came back a little while later for our orders. The menu had salmon on a bed of rice. I ordered that and she asked which two sides I wanted. I chose mash and broccoli. My entree came but with no rice. She then tells me that one of my sides was in exchange for the rice. Well then just take the "on a bed of rice" off and put rice as another side item! That way there's no confusion. But here's the real issue. One of my broccoli pieces had rice pellets on the back side of it. So it was obviously taken off of a bed of rice and placed with the rest of my broccoli pieces. That totally turned me off. So you're back there recycling broccoli? Hubby ordered wings and rings and tots. The rings were super greasy. Typical bar food I guess. The Server took way too long to ask if there was anything else we needed as we sat there waiting forever for to go boxes. It's pretty evident that the wait staff and kitchen staff need better training. Well, I tried it but I won't be back. Went in the first time to pick up an order and the waiting area is in front of the bathrooms I've order from this place from Uber eats a few times because the Pizza is Great but they never tape up the boxes or bags the food is delivered in so there's no security of mind that your food has not been tampered with upon delivery:( read more

Just ate here today 1-22-25 and must say it was amazing! I got the Signature Ribeye with cream sauce and bacon on top! One of the best tasting flavors I have ever had and the bacon cheese fries were fantastic. Service was spot on and got greeted by the manager Joe and the district manager Jeff to top it off.
