This time I was in here for the shepherd's pie. From being here before, I'd seen someone else order it and noticed it comes in a mini cast iron; he serving option alone is already promising. The shepherd's pie is absolutely delicious, no notes. The mash on top was broiled with just enough crisp, so smooth and creamy underneath. The ground meat below was cooked hot with smoke, and every bite was hearty and rich, with noticeable touches of herb. I don't like peas, so the shepherd's pie here coming with carrots instead makes it even better for me, and the crispy shallots on top give an occasional crunch. So far I've tried three dishes here, and I've been happy with all of them. These dishes are the kind I'd come back for, but this really solidifies the impression that most, if not all, of the menu would be worth trying. Pair that with the friendly, attentive staff and the relaxing atmosphere, and this is for sure a top pick.

The menus were kind of old and a little soiled so if the food is good here I will never know because I wouldn't touch the menus. Sat at the bar and asked for the name of a beer they had on tap. She gave me a generic answer and it turns out she was right. It was just called Channelside IPA. Still the interaction wasn't very pleasant and in fact was a little awkward. Definitely didn't feel welcome. Also didn't help that I am naturally a smart Alec. All I know is we definitely didn't click. I settled in on a Smithwicks Red Ale. Finished my beer and promptly left. The experience was Meh. The beer was good though.

The bar institutes a beer captain system, so players don't bring their own drinks. The blue coolers are for the beer captains of the week to haul the purchases. It's a good arrangement. All the rinks I've been to in New York don't have a bar, only concession stands that sell hot echolocates.

The tables were place fairly well since you could see TV's from any of them. I was only able to see it since the sound didn't match the broadcast and the music from the dj was loud and drowned the bad sound anyway. The place may be different under normal circumstances.

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant and would not return. From the moment the…read morefood arrived, it was clear that quality was not a priority. Nearly everything on the plate was overly greasy, to the point where it felt heavy and unappetizing after just a few bites. Instead of enhancing flavor, the oil overwhelmed it, leaving a lingering, unpleasant aftertaste. Beyond the grease, the ingredients themselves seemed subpar. The food lacked freshness, and certain items tasted like they had been pre-prepared or sitting out for too long. Textures were off- some parts were soggy while others were oddly dry- which made the meal feel careless and poorly executed. Service and atmosphere did little to make up for the food. Even with reasonable expectations, the overall experience fell short. For the price and what's advertised, this place simply doesn't deliver. There are far better options available, and this is not somewhere I would consider visiting again.

Usually when you go to a restaurant with a HUGE menu, you kind of expect everything to be good but nothing to be really great. That's what makes Yard House different. Every meal I've had here has been fresh, flavorful, and genuinely delicious. We had the Korean Beef Cheesesteak, and that thing was SO flavorful and absolutely packed with meat. My husband loves cheesesteaks and said it's one of the best non-Philly cheesesteaks he's had! The fries were great too. I had the Garlic Beef Noodles, and OMG. So good! They're not super spicy at first, but the spice definitely creeps up on you after a few bites. Be prepared for the runny nose! The beef was incredibly flavorful, and everything together with the noodles and veggies was just chef's kiss. My son had the pizza and loved it. He said the dough was crispy on the outside but still soft, with just the right amount of sauce and cheese. And yes, I stole a bite--it was good! We also tried the Hibiscus Mule mocktails. They were refreshing and tasted good, although they were a little heavy-handed with the ginger beer for us. Still enjoyable, just very gingery. Overall, this place continues to be a win for us. Great service, great food, tons of options, and we've yet to have a bad meal here. I definitely recommend stopping by if you're in Tampa. Now I just need Yard House to bring a location to Jax, because I would probably be there every weekend.
