First time at bubbas and it was an amazingggg experience! My friends dad just moved to Florida and Amy made our trip so far for sure. I had the ribeye which was cooked perfectly and the Macncheese was spectacular. It's very rare to find good restaurants in a highly touristed area because they don't rely on return customers but this place really shows off its quality service and food. read more

Heads up....The Pensacola restaurant isn't the best location if you have a party of 9! After waiting 30 minutes (Which we actually expected) we were seated in two separate booths with two in our party having to sit by themselves. Our family ended up having two separate servers. The 7 of us in the big booth ordered first. However, the two that were seated separately ordered after us, got their food and actually finished it BEFORE the rest of us even received our food!! Our server at the bigger table was clueless! It was the server who waited on the smaller table who noticed that the bigger booth was still waiting for our food after the smaller table had been cleared!! She was the one who came over to us and said she would check on what had happened with our order. Even though she did this, the other server still didn't reach out to us or give us any explanation as to why we still hadn't received our food! 20 minutes later, my daughter had to flag down a manager to see if we could get our food! Moments later, our server came to the table with a major attitude and informed us that the kitchen was very busy and they were working on getting our order out!! We finally received our food an hour after ordering!!! And you would never guess....some of it was cold! Go figure!! When our server returned to the table, she had a complete turn around with her attitude! (Thank goodness!) We informed her that the fries were cold. She immediately took care of the issue and we received another basket of piping hot sweet potato fries!! What they do have going for them is that the food was delicious!! There was not one complaint about the taste of any of the items that we all ordered. The sweet potato fries were absolutely yummmmmy! Even though there definitely was a hiccup with our semi-large party, I would give Bubba 33 another try! I could almost give this place 5 stars. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was light and festive. My 3rd time to go eat there. My reluctance to give them 5 stars is the fact that apparently the cooks are incapable or refuse to cook burgers less than medium well or well. I like mine medium rare and please don't tell me it's against the law to cook hamburger meat medium rare. 23 years with the food services inspection with the State of Florida. One of these days I will get a hamburger cooked as requested and I will then give this place 5 stars read more

Went there for the Argo football Watch Party only to not have the game on; manager indicated he was trying to get reception on ESPN+ but NO success- at least until 1st qtr Left and went to Walk-Ons- great decision Service and food were both a 5 star!! Our first visit here was a smashing success! We got on the waitlist (as it was midday), but got right in anyway. Great sports bar atmosphere in both the main dining room and bar area. Very friendly and polite staff, including our server Kaitlin ! She was personable, attentive, and knowledgeable. She established an immediate rapport without being overbearing. Oh yeah, the food was awesome as well! Started out with fresh fried pickles, then I had the Spicy Habanero burger. Great smash burger technique with charred jalapeños and onion blend and the kicker is the fried jalapeño cream cheese. Our other order was the Dickie V pizza. Yep, "it's awesome baby!" Wonderful staff and the Manager Tj is always working the floor serving,cleaning, and speaking with guest. The staff is very friendly and the music is always POPPIN. If you're on a diet or eat remotely healthy, I would not come here. (That isn't at all the reason for my poor review though.)This is a gut busting kind of a place with lots of carbs and deep fried fare, pizza, wings, sugary cocktails. The salads are like 1,000 calories. So just know that going in. I went with a group of 5 but it was later at night on a weeknight and pretty dang dead. We all ordered, most just got appetizers or boneless wings. I got the coffee ribeye with a side salad. I got my salad immediately which was odd because another person in my party had only ordered a side salad. I wasn't even done with my salad and only my meal came out. Full ribeye and all. Not one thing for anyone else, including the other side salad. I felt so bad I let them all split my fries. They waited a total of 30 minutes for their food. I was entirely finished. The servers seemed fine and attentive so I'm not sure what the issue was? Everyone seemed to enjoy their food but I had the worst steak I've ever tasted. The shape was not like a ribeye... it looked like a London broil. It had zero marbling and I mean zero, it actually looked like a piece of seared ahi tuna inside. The coffee marinade was impossibly sweet and it was ultimately really gross. I wasn't a fan. When we got here, we were immediately seated. Our wait staff was friendly and attentive. The food came out quickly. I was super excited to try this place. We had wings pizza and a couple dinner plates. The pizza was really good and very kind service. But we tried explaining that we had a raw chicken wing but that it wasn't a huge deal. We just wanted to make sure they were aware. And the manager tried explaining that they are called "red bone wings" so this is normal. Except.... I think everyone knows what raw chicken looks like.
