We had a gentlemen named "London" as our server and our service could not have been better. He was very energetic and informative on the menu. Both of us couldn't decide on a burger or pizza so he made the suggestion to get a small pizza and a burger and split both.... genius. Facts: asked for and charged for a double Crown rocks. Received single pour. Asked the "bartender" (who might be of legal age) if double and she schooled me that it was. I've had more doubles than days she's been alive. Wine sucks horribly. That's ok. Pay your money take your chances. Now when bar items like shot pour glass are dropped on the floor and then picked up and continued to be used, that's strike three for coming back. read more

Um wow!!! So we are normal beach goers and visit Corpus quite often. We usually stick to locally owned restaurants when staying overnight but tonight we happened in on Bubba's. From the moment we were seated to the time we left, we were given exceptional service and quality! We mentioned to the hostess it was our first time and to our surprise, we were greeted by the owner himself welcoming us to his restaurant after we ordered. He even talked over some of the menu items with us which gave us assurance in our choices and possibly new choices for next time. I ordered the Ribeye and was not expecting it to be as amazing as it was. The flavor was better than most steak houses I've been too and it was cooked accurately(Medium) which is hard for restaurants to do sometimes! My husband had the shrimp and chicken plate and was very pleased with the shrimp. He stated that the chicken was really tasty but nothing special but he is pretty picky so that is saying a lot. Lol He also said their Broccoli had amazing taste and was perfectly steamed! My children enjoyed a pizza that was very good as well. We will definitely be returning next time we visit. Bubba's 33 knocks it out of the park once again !!! Only second visit but just as great as our first. While unfortunately unable to enjoy Bubba's atmosphere and dining experience we had our meal to go but this did not disappoint the food was on point served crisp and hot right off the grill. In less time then it takes to order a pizza we had two medium well Bubba's 33 Bacon burgers loaded fries with melted cheese and more bacon and an order of crisp and juicy onion rings. (Drinks not included) for a date night at home this was perfect and didn't break the bank !! For as much as you would spend at a Texas landmark Burger traditional restaurant we came out with two of the best burgers we have hand in along while. I would like to thank the staff who was attentive and prompt when asking if I needed anything. We will be seeing Bubba's 33 again soon !! read more

Bubbas 33 in Corpus Christi. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Beer was cold and food was good. Our appeteizer never made it out. I cancelled it. I have been to other Bubbas around the state but never before in my home town so I finally got the wife to spend one of our happy hours at Bubbas. We had excellent service and excellent food. I went in to Bubbas with my family last night for my cousins birthday and I had been there many times before but never had any issues until last night with the worst service ever. First our waitress took forever to get our drinks and I ordered an appetizer and it was taking so long and I was asking her about them and she said that that they had their CEO'S in town and the higher up people so the kitchen staff is a little nervous about it . Like really what does that have to do with your customers?? Then she brought them out an hour later and I am talking about them being so burned like almost black no joke !! The food was great but the hostess was very unfriendly and it took 20 minutes at least for our waitress to even come by and ask for our drinks. She never introduced herself and asked "have y'all been helped yet at all?" Like she wasn't the one who was supposed to do that. Felt like a bother when my family dined there this weekend. We were a party of 8 around 11:30 am on a Sunday. I mentioned that we preferred a table since it is difficult for my mother to get in a booth (she uses a walker). That request was met with an eye roll by the main hostess. Another hostess took us to a table for 6 and I told her there were 8 of us. She responded by saying we'd have to sit at different tables. The restaurant was more than 1/2 empty. I asked if we could put 2 together. She said she'd have to ask her manager. She came back and said the manager wouldn't allow us to move the tables but they did have a booth. We opted for the booth. Service by the waitress was good and food was decent but I couldn't help but notice that they put 2 tables together near us to accommodate a party of 10. Perhaps they have an aversion to parties of 8 or people with disabilities. Either way, I won't go back. read more

We tried Bubbas for the first time and it was actually better then I Expected. There was a long wait, but we stuck it out because I wanted to try it. They specialize in Burgers and Pizza. We just tried the Cheese Burgers. I wanted it Med or Medium rare, but they had a hard time accomodating. Strange , since they say they grind their own meat. It came out slightly pink. Their BIG problem with the Burger was in seasoning. If its not properly salted before its cook, it wont taste right. The Burger was very bland because of this. I deducted a star because of this. Onion rings werent bad--- maybe could of used a slightly thicker piece of onion in it. Service was good by a waitress named Jacqueline. First host don't now how to do their job and find us a seat in an almost empty restaurant. Then there is nat's flying around, I order my food and when it is put down in front of me two hairs right on top of my food. The waitress ask if I wanted another one (no so you can take it to the back and remove the hairs and let it sit there for 30 minutes no thanks) or another entrée. No thanks I'm grossed out I don't wish to have anything. So then 20 minutes later as my co-worker's are eating their hairless meals, the manager (Stephen) comes up to me saying we will be taking care of the meal. I said oh the meal I'm not even going to eat I should hope so and you should also take care of my appetizer too. So he did and gave me a free entree that I will not be using. I just had a really bad and disgusting experience I don't plan on going back. This is what happens when people don't do their jobs to the best of their ability and don't care about the customer. While on my 3rd visit..n maybe last..a friend found a white plastic looking ring in bottom of her beer..they apologized n said we could talk to manager..who had time for that.. they took long enough getting our food out .cheeseburger was bland...waitress only came around once until the very end we didn't get silverware either it just took very long I realize that the garage was full but somebody should have been attending if I our waitress wasn't we have to stop another waitress to get silverware we also had to stop another waitress to tell her about the ring found in the bottom of our beer May 6 2016 visit between 6 and 7 30pm read more

Went here last night for a guys night. The place has the feel of your typical sports bar and the service was very good. Lots of TVs with a variety of games on. I had the Buffalo Chicken sandwich which was delicious, probably the best I've ever had. Had the fried pickles for an appetizer, which were pretty tasty as well. Only drawback was that they opened their sunshades right as the sun was starting to set which put the sun in half the people at the table's eyes. We got lucky on a busy day and went through a wait to sit in bar area. Food was super delicious. Service not so much. He was nice, but too busy to be attentive. I think this new restaurant should hire more seasoned servers (not just every 18 year old available) that can handle busy sections. Again....Food was great. Arrived just before 730pm and put in my order then paid for it with this guy Chris. He stated it would take 20 min which is perfect since i had to be at the airport at 8pm. Well ten after I still hadn't gotten my food yet so, I approached the hostesses and asked about my order. Well they couldn't find an order for so they asked him and discovered that he had rang it up in his name. So they brought my food out then asked if I had paid pissed I said yes. I finally arrive with my food to discover its cold and one of the burgers was soggy n wet from the condensation and juices. I officially find this place to be a joke.....and waste. My family and I visited the Resturant for the first time this weekend. The ambience was nice the surrounding music a little to loud but still entertaining. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Seriously can't get enough of this place! Was recently at the Amarillo location and couldn't wait to go back! I was super excited when I saw that there was a Bubbas 33 near by while in Corpus. Such an amazing, positive, and fun atmosphere. 3 different dining experiences to choose from, an abundance of giant TVs, ICE COLD beer and phenomenal food made from scratch. Speaking of which, I had a burger that was OUT OF THIS WORLD DELICIOUS... the meat was cooked perfectly; juicy, bun homemade and toasted. For all the bacon and burger lovers out their - ALL of their burgers are made with a 33% bacon grind patty. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.
