Friend and I went there after work. It was busy for a Tuesday night. They have a lot of TVs. We sat in the bar area since there was no waiting. I ordered their 33 burger. My friend ordered the wings and shrimp appetizers. Neither of us were blown away with the food taste. Had a hard time figuring out how to get to the restaurant. It isn't clearly marked, I just happened to see a car leave the parking lot and watched where he came from. Upside is the TV area which would be good for basketball or other sporting events. I was surprised by how much I liked Bubba's. I didn't see myself liking a chain southern themed sports bar but the food and atmosphere definitely won me over. First, the restaurant is huge. There are a ton of seating options, booths, high tops, seating for large groups, and a patio with a fire pit. Even though the restaurant was packed I was able to grab a table in the bar with no wait. The hostess said the wait for booth seating was also only 5-10 minutes. Others have mentioned the Sangria Margarita. I tried it frozen. It's literally my new favorite drink. Nothing I say will adequately describe how wonderful that drink is. Just go order it. It seems that bacon is their signature ingredient so everything was delicious but super greasy. The prices were also reasonable. Apparently they also have burger specials on Mondays and pizza specials on Tuesdays. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing this brand grow. read more

My wife and I stopped in on Saturday for lunch, she ordered a 12" "33 Deluxe", and I ordered a "South of the Border" burger. We also ordered a 1/2 order of onion rings as a starter. The onion rings were very good, and I would recommend them to anyone who likes onion rings. I ordered my burger with added jalapenos, which did not come with the burger but were brought over by a manager later. My wife's pizza was, frankly, terrible. There was VERY little sauce on the pizza and mostly in the center 8" of it. For a pizza that's supposed to have sausage on it there were literally 2 pieces of sausage, neither was larger than a pea. The pizza had a ton of bell peppers on it, but very little of anything else, and she described it to me later as the worst she'd ever had. Ironically, we had run into someone earlier in the day who recommended the place but had made the statement about telling the cooks "Not to be skimpy" when she orders a pizza. Perhaps if we'd done that, it wouldn't have been so bad. Bottom line, I would return for the burgers and rings, but won't probably ever order pizza again. read more

Okay, so my boyfriend and I went to this place and it was a VERY good experience! Our waiter was katelin (with the short hair) and she was one of the friendliest waitresses that I've had in a long long time! Upon arrive to the building, we didn't know what kind of place it was. When we walked inside it appeared to be a sports bar. The environment was friendly, however it was very loud in there with people yelling over the game. (Which is to expected for game night....and I can't discredit Bubba's for this just because I don't like loud environments. I wanted to give a fair review.) We just went here last night. The food was pretty decent, though my boneless wings were a little bit flooded with sauce. Pretty basic, but I enjoyed them. However, my Dad got a cheeseburger and fries, which looked pretty delicious. I've heard others rave about this as well, and I'll be sure to try it next time. There was a "end of prohibition" sale on select drinks, which were all $3.33. They were pretty yummy and potent, but I was mostly just excited about how cheap they were. You can't beat a deal like that one! Only complaint was with another server who brought out our salad (she wasn't our main server). They were very busy and efficient, which we appreciated. But, the young woman sat the salad down and proceeded to run off, and my Dad politely asked for some silverware as she was a few steps away. She quickly whipped around and said ,"We don't have any right now, they're rolling them in the back. We'll bring it out when we have some, so that's how this is gonna go tonight," in a slightly pissed-off manner, then ran off and never returned. (our waitress came around about 30 seconds later, noticed we had no utensils, and gave them to us immediately) We didn't complain. I could tell she wasn't mad at us, and that she was just stressed out and a little ashamed of the situation. I'm sure other customers had bitched loudly about this silverware problem to her all night, and her response to us was probably well-crafted to avoid potential confrontation. But...little did she know, we are easygoing and understanding when things get busy. We wouldn't have been aggressive in the least bit. I didn't appreciate her tone at all, as we were not rude. Consider the wooden ambiance, garage sale decor, combined with multiple large screen TVs, and a varying selection of burgers, pizza, and beer, and you have Bubbas. Bubbas does everything solidly but nothing spectacularly. Prices are reasonable, portions are generous, and the quality is good. Service was attentive, even for a packed Saturday night. The beer selection is varied, and there are scores of large screen TVs for viewing multiple sporting events. If a $15 burger with arugula lettuce and goat cheese is your idea of comfort food, then this may not be your place (to be fair, if it is, you probably wouldn't be reading a review about a restaurant named Bubbas 33 but instead would be considering Nulu options). If however, you want to catch a game, satisfy everyone with a selection of burgers, pizza, salads, and appetizers, then consider Bubbas. We were so excited to try the new restaurant. We waited 20 minutes past puck-up time. That is totally OK when the food is worth it. Our food was Luke warm at best when it was brought to our car. The French fries were tough and soggy. Medium steak was rare. Didn't get tarter sauce or the extra tarter We asked for. We will wait a few months before trying this place again. Best hamburger around. Monday's are build your own burger night. My husband added a fried egg, pepper jack and mushrooms. I added bacon, mushrooms and provolone. Delicious!! We also ordered chips and queso. The chips had an amazing seasoning on them and the dip had chorizo and great flavor served in an iron skillet. First time in Indiana and first time at Bubbas. This spot is a sports bar with panoramic views of 60+ inch televisions. The music is 80s pop like Michael Jackson and the vibe is your dad's garage. The menu is pizza, burgers and beer focused. I ordered the meaty meaty pizza and apparently Tues means 9.99 is the Pizza price for all 12 inch pizzas. So I got a pizza that is typically $14.99 for cheaper. The pizza has all the makings of traditional meat lovers: sausage, Pepperoni, and bacon. The pizza was thin with a fluffy crust that was cooked in a wood fire oven. I'm very happy with the pizza and the ambiance but the lack of staff impacts the customer service. Excellent experience for us we called ahead had about a 15 minute wait. While we were waiting a piece for the decor fell off the wall and hit my daughter it did not hurt her but scared her. The manager bought us an appetizer we ordered my wife had the Jamaican burger, I had the signature ribeye it was very good. The server we had was great Kaitlyn. Many visits but unfortunately food is hit or miss. Salmon usually delicious but i recently got served undercooked salmon. When I said something it was taken a way and I received a new order 20 minutes later. Unfortunately it was blah and not good . Manager working that day made me feel uncomfortable for saying "Its popular and won't be taken off the menu and not sure why you don't like it ". Who said I don't like it, I ordered it prb 20 times at this location with never having any a slight problem. It sucks when a loyal customer has a issue like this handled in such a crappy way. This place is AWFUL!! Went there Saturday, 11/7, with 2 other families and everything from the food to cleanliness was absolutely the worst! After being seated, we had 2 tables one for the adults and one for our kids, and we had to ask to have our tables wiped down bc of the disgusting remnants from previous customers. The tables were so obviously not cleaned prior to seating is that it was gross. Then while using the restroom, an employee of the restaurant (she was wearing the uniformed shirt) walked into the stall next to me and then only rinsed her hands with water...NO SOAP!! Who does this?!?! I don't care if there's a pandemic or not, to not wash your hands after using the restroom is grotesque. The only reason we didn't leave at that point was bc she was not our waitress, but was an example of the level of cleanliness. Then we had to ask numerous times for napkins, the pizzas were flavorless & the fried pickles were just greasy. The garlic knots were good, so said my kids. The list of disappointments goes on & on unfortunately. The saving grace was that, even though our waitress was struggling (she lost our drink orders & we had to hint her down to get refills), she was still nice & polite. Food was ok, service was less than attentive. Kept having to ask other servers for things, ie: drink refills, extra plates and more chips for the fiesta dip. The fiesta dip was very tasty, a bit of heat, but the chips tasted stale. All I can say is SALTY!!!! I got a bacon blue burger, my friend got one as well. Both tasted like they put a tablespoon of salt on the blue burgers' sauce. And the bacon, at least for us, was undercooked. If you like it chewy and pink, great. I like mine cooked and just a bit crispy. And I got a side of salt with fries and hers was a side of salt with sweet potato fries. Atmosphere was really loud, more like a sports bar on game day. Lots of screens, kinda like BWs. They are not set up for large groups. Large is relative, we had 4 adults and 4 kids. Set us up in 2 different booths, across from each other. Great for a casual night out. TVs taking up all wall space in interior so there are always option for what to watch. The cheese fries we received as an app were the best we had ever had. The chili on top just made it stand out. Drinks were strong and the beer was cold. Personally not a fan of their side salads as they do not carry Caesar dressing and they top their salads with slivered potato chips, just not for my taste. The burgers were cooked through but not burnt and the service was prompt. The interior is fun and interactive. Favorite part is the waiting bench in the foyer as it's an old mustang bumper repurposed to a couch.
