I come here at least 2 times week and have never had problems with drinks. This bartender Kennedy is the worst bartender east of the Mississippi. She messed up 2 of their signature brunch drinks as well as a margarita. My drinks and others I saw were 3/4 of the way filled up. Since I have arrived here I have seen over 10 drinks get sent back other than mine. She isn't even pouring the beers correctly. She also is digging her fingers into garnishes and fruits for the drinks with no gloves on nor was she washing her hands. Also she is more worried about her phone than the quality of drinks or the uncleanliness of things she touched after touching her phone. Probably will never come up for brunch again and I suggest if you do come for brunch don't order any drinks if she is behind the bar. Bring Josh back for brunch. read more

I was surprised by how much I liked Bubba's. I didn't see myself liking a chain southern themed sports bar but the food and atmosphere definitely won me over. First, the restaurant is huge. There are a ton of seating options, booths, high tops, seating for large groups, and a patio with a fire pit. Even though the restaurant was packed I was able to grab a table in the bar with no wait. The hostess said the wait for booth seating was also only 5-10 minutes. Others have mentioned the Sangria Margarita. I tried it frozen. It's literally my new favorite drink. Nothing I say will adequately describe how wonderful that drink is. Just go order it. It seems that bacon is their signature ingredient so everything was delicious but super greasy. The prices were also reasonable. Apparently they also have burger specials on Mondays and pizza specials on Tuesdays. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing this brand grow. read more

We were shopping across the River and needed some dinner. Bubba's 33 was close by so we decided to give it a try. It was crazy busy but open seating in the bar allowed us to find a seat pretty quickly. We sat down and ordered drinks and viewed the menu. I ended up choosing the Bacon Chicken Mac-N-Cheese and my friend chose the Chicken Nachos. When the food arrived, we were pleasantly surprised at the size of the entrees. I was hungry but not that hungry! The flavor and temperature of my food was hot and yummy. Her nachos were piled high and she dug right in and didn't stop till all gone. I had to take half of mine to go and looked forward to eating the rest for lunch/dinner the next day. The bar was quite noisy due to NFL playoff games on the many tv's but that's was to be expected when you eat in a bar. Our server was friendly and made sure our drinks were full. This isn't my first time to Bubba's 33 and won't be my last, Lord willing and the creek don't rise. Whoever I am with at Bubba's agrees the food is FABULOUS. I have tried many, if not most, of the items they offer. On this occasion I went with chicken tenders, tater tots, cole slaw and a half order of onion rings which I shared with the other half of my party. My friend had the Espresso marinated steak, broccoli and cole slaw. That steak though!!! It looked like the BEST steak I ever saw with the grill marks and just glistening and daring me to try it. My friend asked me if I wanted a bite and I said, yes, just give me a little taste. WOW!!! My next visit to Bubba's will be the Espresso marinated steak. It is unbelievably gooood. Everything I ordered was perfect as it always is. I especially want to mention the onion rings. These are some of the absolute BEST. Some places serve onion rings, but not so good. Bubba's rings are arguably an award winner. The chicken tenders are perfect texture and taste with very nice sauces if you like that. Their Cole slaw is one of the best I have had anywhere and who doesn't like tater tots. I had a delicious lemonade or tea this time which I think was mango flavored. The manager, Tabitha, knew my friend pretty well and asked if I ever tried the candied bacon. I told her I haven't but heard it is like crack. She brought me a sample which was just enough to agree what I heard. It is VERY thick sliced bacon with a coating of something you want more of. Bubba's has my strongest 5 rating as it is a place you will want to come back to till you have sampled ALL their items. I have previously dined on burgers, pizza, shrimp and potatoes, ALL of which were highest quality. Bubba's is in the same family as Texas Roadhouse and you will notice they both are moving a great deal of people every day and night. There is a lot of seating and a lot of workers to take care of the crowd. You don't have a packed restaurant night after night for years without doing what is great. Give Bubba's 33 a try. Tried this place for the first time last night (Saturday, July 29). Fair to middling crowd for a Saturday night. Definitely LOTS of TVs, so many it almost wonders if they use them as a distraction. Our server was very pleasant, polite and attentive without being overly annoying, so that was a bonus. Of course, the main reason to go to any restaurant is for the food. I was expecting pretty good stuff after reading multiple, decent reviews and knowing that it's an offshoot of the TEXAS ROADHOUSE. Sadly, the food was---largely mediocre bordering on just plain bad. Started with an order of the onion rings. What arrived at the table were grease-soaked, mushy rings of onion that were cold, bland and the onions completely underdone. Sent 'me back and got a new order. They arrived at the table steaming hot and much crispier than their previous counterparts, but the coating was still bland and greasy and the onions still hard and surprisingly tasteless (for an onion). Sent those back, too. My wife ordered one of the burgers with the ground bacon in it while I ordered a standard cheeseburger as, while I'm fond of bacon and don't mind it ON my burger, I have no interest in having it ground into my burger. At least now I know why they do that. Our food arrived at the table at least appropriately hot. The fries on the side were greasy and only tasted like whatever spice concoction they sprinkled over them. My cheeseburger was totally tasteless, as in bland like the kitchen didn't even Season it with salt or pepper. The ketchup, mustard and pickle helped, but the burger itself was as drab a piece of ground beef as I've ever encountered. I tried a small piece of my wife's "Bubba Burger" and it was just as bland as mine, the only saving grace being the smokiness added by the bacon. Neither burger was anywhere near the rather exorbitant prices Bubba's 33 charges for a hamburger. Suffice it to say, we left largely unimpressed and will likely not return. My grade: C-. You want a really good burger? Try the Burger Mignon at Flanagan's Ale House with a side of their beer battered onion rings or crinkle-cut fries. Now thems is good eats! read more

Friend and I went there after work. It was busy for a Tuesday night. They have a lot of TVs. We sat in the bar area since there was no waiting. I ordered their 33 burger. My friend ordered the wings and shrimp appetizers. Neither of us were blown away with the food taste. Had a hard time figuring out how to get to the restaurant. It isn't clearly marked, I just happened to see a car leave the parking lot and watched where he came from. Upside is the TV area which would be good for basketball or other sporting events. My wife and I stopped in on Saturday for lunch, she ordered a 12" "33 Deluxe", and I ordered a "South of the Border" burger. We also ordered a 1/2 order of onion rings as a starter. The onion rings were very good, and I would recommend them to anyone who likes onion rings. I ordered my burger with added jalapenos, which did not come with the burger but were brought over by a manager later. My wife's pizza was, frankly, terrible. There was VERY little sauce on the pizza and mostly in the center 8" of it. For a pizza that's supposed to have sausage on it there were literally 2 pieces of sausage, neither was larger than a pea. The pizza had a ton of bell peppers on it, but very little of anything else, and she described it to me later as the worst she'd ever had. Ironically, we had run into someone earlier in the day who recommended the place but had made the statement about telling the cooks "Not to be skimpy" when she orders a pizza. Perhaps if we'd done that, it wouldn't have been so bad. Bottom line, I would return for the burgers and rings, but won't probably ever order pizza again. read more

Okay, so my boyfriend and I went to this place and it was a VERY good experience! Our waiter was katelin (with the short hair) and she was one of the friendliest waitresses that I've had in a long long time! Upon arrive to the building, we didn't know what kind of place it was. When we walked inside it appeared to be a sports bar. The environment was friendly, however it was very loud in there with people yelling over the game. (Which is to expected for game night....and I can't discredit Bubba's for this just because I don't like loud environments. I wanted to give a fair review.) We just went here last night. The food was pretty decent, though my boneless wings were a little bit flooded with sauce. Pretty basic, but I enjoyed them. However, my Dad got a cheeseburger and fries, which looked pretty delicious. I've heard others rave about this as well, and I'll be sure to try it next time. There was a "end of prohibition" sale on select drinks, which were all $3.33. They were pretty yummy and potent, but I was mostly just excited about how cheap they were. You can't beat a deal like that one! Only complaint was with another server who brought out our salad (she wasn't our main server). They were very busy and efficient, which we appreciated. But, the young woman sat the salad down and proceeded to run off, and my Dad politely asked for some silverware as she was a few steps away. She quickly whipped around and said ,"We don't have any right now, they're rolling them in the back. We'll bring it out when we have some, so that's how this is gonna go tonight," in a slightly pissed-off manner, then ran off and never returned. (our waitress came around about 30 seconds later, noticed we had no utensils, and gave them to us immediately) We didn't complain. I could tell she wasn't mad at us, and that she was just stressed out and a little ashamed of the situation. I'm sure other customers had bitched loudly about this silverware problem to her all night, and her response to us was probably well-crafted to avoid potential confrontation. But...little did she know, we are easygoing and understanding when things get busy. We wouldn't have been aggressive in the least bit. I didn't appreciate her tone at all, as we were not rude. Consider the wooden ambiance, garage sale decor, combined with multiple large screen TVs, and a varying selection of burgers, pizza, and beer, and you have Bubbas. Bubbas does everything solidly but nothing spectacularly. Prices are reasonable, portions are generous, and the quality is good. Service was attentive, even for a packed Saturday night. The beer selection is varied, and there are scores of large screen TVs for viewing multiple sporting events. If a $15 burger with arugula lettuce and goat cheese is your idea of comfort food, then this may not be your place (to be fair, if it is, you probably wouldn't be reading a review about a restaurant named Bubbas 33 but instead would be considering Nulu options). If however, you want to catch a game, satisfy everyone with a selection of burgers, pizza, salads, and appetizers, then consider Bubbas. We were so excited to try the new restaurant. We waited 20 minutes past puck-up time. That is totally OK when the food is worth it. Our food was Luke warm at best when it was brought to our car. The French fries were tough and soggy. Medium steak was rare. Didn't get tarter sauce or the extra tarter We asked for. We will wait a few months before trying this place again. Best hamburger around. Monday's are build your own burger night. My husband added a fried egg, pepper jack and mushrooms. I added bacon, mushrooms and provolone. Delicious!! We also ordered chips and queso. The chips had an amazing seasoning on them and the dip had chorizo and great flavor served in an iron skillet. We got right in which we were happy about, 11:30 on Saturday seems to be a good time to go. Our service was okay but one would think it would be better considering they just opened. Our food took forever!! We had a party of three and ordered 2 hamburgers and a kids Mac and cheese. The burgers did not have much flavor but the fries were really good. First time in Indiana and first time at Bubbas. This spot is a sports bar with panoramic views of 60+ inch televisions. The music is 80s pop like Michael Jackson and the vibe is your dad's garage. The menu is pizza, burgers and beer focused. I ordered the meaty meaty pizza and apparently Tues means 9.99 is the Pizza price for all 12 inch pizzas. So I got a pizza that is typically $14.99 for cheaper. The pizza has all the makings of traditional meat lovers: sausage, Pepperoni, and bacon. The pizza was thin with a fluffy crust that was cooked in a wood fire oven. I'm very happy with the pizza and the ambiance but the lack of staff impacts the customer service. Our server did her best but she has so many tables scattered around the room and she was inaccessible at times. read more

Excellent experience for us we called ahead had about a 15 minute wait. While we were waiting a piece for the decor fell off the wall and hit my daughter it did not hurt her but scared her. The manager bought us an appetizer we ordered my wife had the Jamaican burger, I had the signature ribeye it was very good. The server we had was great Kaitlyn. It was busy and employees were friendly. We will go back I know sometimes a server can make all the difference ours was very personable and attentive. read more

This place is AWFUL!! Went there Saturday, 11/7, with 2 other families and everything from the food to cleanliness was absolutely the worst! After being seated, we had 2 tables one for the adults and one for our kids, and we had to ask to have our tables wiped down bc of the disgusting remnants from previous customers. The tables were so obviously not cleaned prior to seating is that it was gross. Then while using the restroom, an employee of the restaurant (she was wearing the uniformed shirt) walked into the stall next to me and then only rinsed her hands with water...NO SOAP!! Who does this?!?! I don't care if there's a pandemic or not, to not wash your hands after using the restroom is grotesque. The only reason we didn't leave at that point was bc she was not our waitress, but was an example of the level of cleanliness. Then we had to ask numerous times for napkins, the pizzas were flavorless & the fried pickles were just greasy. The garlic knots were good, so said my kids. The list of disappointments goes on & on unfortunately. The saving grace was that, even though our waitress was struggling (she lost our drink orders & we had to hint her down to get refills), she was still nice & polite. Many visits but unfortunately food is hit or miss. Salmon usually delicious but i recently got served undercooked salmon. When I said something it was taken a way and I received a new order 20 minutes later. Unfortunately it was blah and not good . Manager working that day made me feel uncomfortable for saying "Its popular and won't be taken off the menu and not sure why you don't like it ". Who said I don't like it, I ordered it prb 20 times at this location with never having any a slight problem. It sucks when a loyal customer has a issue like this handled in such a crappy way.
