I have been coming to Roosters a few times every year, and especially this location since it's close to the theater. Tonight's experience was by far the best ever! Our waitress Haley B was so attentive and informative. Food came out quick and was fresh and hot. I tried the fried buffalo appetizer this time and with Haley's recommendation got it tossed in their Medium sauce and Garlic Parm sauce mixed...10/10!! Also discovered their happy hour! My wife and I eat here fairly often and have never had a bad experience. I usually get the boneless wings and they are great. My wife has more variety but usually gets a salad or wrap. Another visit to our favorite wing joint. On Mondays, Roosters offers up 79¢ boneless wings. So, I ordered 5 traditional and 5 boneless. When they brought the order, I thought they'd given me two orders of traditional. I hadn't seen "nuggets" that big. But, it's Roosters, home of huge wings, so it makes sense boneless would be big too, I'm a fan of the Nashville Hot dry rub, but today they were pretty heavy on the " dust". Nothing a cold beer couldn't solve. A side note, my wife accidentally spilled her beer. Without missing a beat, our server brought a fresh brew in minutes. In the spirit of "balanced" nutrition, we also split a small side salad. And for good measure, a Valpack coupon took a few bucks off the tab. And leftovers made for a ready made dinner. My family found ourselves hungry and near Roosters on a Friday night. We took a chance for quick seating and got lucky with an opening within 5-10 minutes. Roosters, all locations, has an awkward build. For a restaurant that is popular with families and those that like to watch sports games, they have zero waiting space. I enjoyed my fried tenders. Two is enough! Sweet chili Thai sauce is my favorite and I'm wimpy with heat. I tried their chicken noodle soup (first time). It was thicker like chicken and dumplings and flavorful. Warning for those that dislike pepper - it's heavy on it! Adding crackers helped to tone down the pepper. We had a fantastic server. She immediately dispelled my statement of service at Roosters always being subpar. She had regulars in her section and that made sense. If this was my closest Roosters I'd ask for her too. So I give this Roosters a second try after a fiasco of a visit about 6 months ago. It seems that when you come to this Roosters you have to eat what the waitress wants you to eat. This is a recurrent problem in here, you order something and you ended up with what you did NOT ordered. The waitress wanted to change the order, for which we had waited for 25+ minutes. I did not dare to send the order back, did not had the time to wait another 25 mminutes and I don't know if I trust the fact that the food was not going to be tampered with... I want to start by saying Becky has the best customer service and was an amazing waitress. She was prompt, caring, gave good advice on food to eat and insight on what to do around there. We had a large party of 15, since we brought our volleyball team, coming back from the tournament we played in downtown. Having all those young ladies in the party on top of the needs and requests we had, I give her major props. I had the traditional wings which I did not expect to be so large. For the price, this was a large portion and well worth the money. We also had the pizza which I heard was delicious, but I was too full to indulge. For appetizers we tried the nachos, fried pickles, tater tots, fried mushrooms and garlic cheese bread. My favorite BY FAR was the cheese bread. Some of the pieces were perfectly cheesy and with the marinara it hit the spot. I would highly recommend some traditional wings, cheese bread and for alcohol the rooster punch. I loved this place. I had seen it a few times going past and I'll definitely be going back. Service was very fast and accommodated anything I needed. It's similar in dining style to a Buffalo Wild Wings or Brick House Tavern but Rooster's is more of a regular visit establishment. Prices weren't crazy, I could get my whole meal for under $15. I had the Fried Chicken Sandwich with The Works, Bacon, and Pepperjack Cheese. They give you options to what you can have on your sandwich, that's always a great thing to see. It was crunchy, juicy, and had plenty of flavor. It wasn't overly soaked and all the toppings stayed in place. The Tater Tots were good but they were even better when I air fried them. I wish I could remember her name because she was great. Our seats offered many TVs for viewing, accurately I counted 21 TVs which gave us a few more programs of interest. Drinks started with two draft Blue moons in mugs with a juicy orange wedge. Food was the usual pub menu. We shared a generous salad of crisp greens and fresh toppings. Boneless wings and tenders I get it plenty of tender chicken. All crust was crisp as expected. Our great server checked on us to refill our water glasses. I love Roosters! I never knew they had a location in Kentucky since I'm so accustomed to their Columbus locations. This is by far one of the weakest locations by them. I ordered some of their boneless wings, they are completely overcooked, they're salted for some reason they don't taste like wings... The fries were okay. House sangria was the worst. It was good but on the patio didn't stay warm long but that's on us. For appetizers we went with a Buffalo pizza, which has huge chunks of Buffalo chicken and blue cheese crumbles and a quarter lb burger with the works. Between my wife's coworker and the sticker on our garage floor (no, really) it was finally time we went check this place out. Overall, pretty solid. My wife enjoyed her boneless wings and the kids both put up with their chicken sandwiches. I'm currently trying to not eat complete garbage so I was skeptical I was going to find something A little more solid than a plain ole salad. Well, they have a grilled chicken salad...which unfortunately had a bit too many things in avoiding, so I ended up getting grilled rooster fingers that I threw on a salad. Roosters is becoming a favorite of ours because it's consistent and not too expensive. It's a pretty classic wing joint/sports bar. Lots of TVs and a big full-service bar. Usually pretty loud. This location has a great outdoor seating area as well. My husband gets the boneless wings every time in the donkey level of hot. He can tolerate a lot of heat, and the donkey doesn't seem to phase him. I like to get regular wings and mix the garlic and medium sauces. Their selection of dips are great. And I LOVE the wedges! One of my favorite things about Roosters, however, is that the kids meals are a GREAT deal. $5 for an entree AND 2 sides. Our toddler is at that age where she wants her own meal, but she very well might eat 2 bites of it haha. So it's nice to be able to get her a meal without spending a fortune on it! They also have a good blue cheese which I find important when eating wings. It's thick with blue cheese and not runny. The wings are large in size and juicy. My manager for my current job and also a lab supervisor from a laboratory that I recently surveyed had recommended this place along with stating that their boneless wings are amazing. I honestly never had their wings, much less their boneless wings before. Today, I decided to get their boneless wings with honey bbq sauce on them and they were not bad. The texture was that of like a shredded, stringy kind of chicken. It is much different from a boneless chicken wing that has that solid chewy type texture. First warm day of the season that I was actually in town for called for sitting on the patio of a restaurant. I decided to take my bonus kids and dog as Roosters' patio is dog friendly. I called ahead to make sure and yes! Dogs are welcome on the patio! I also asked if there was a wait for the patio and was assured there was not. Great. We live about 5 minutes away. When we first arrived, there were 4 women chatting at the hostess desk but not seeming to notice the customers gathering in to attempt to come in for dining. I finally asked for service. I noticed there were a lot of adults/no children in the establishment and I asked if under 21 could be served here. (It was my first and probably my last time at Roosters.) The hostesses were confused by the question. I asked again, giving an example. She told me no. I was shocked and started to walk out. Another hostess said, she was wrong, they could serve under 21 yr - it was an 'everyone restaurant.' I said there would be 3 people and 1 dog, so we needed a patio seat. I asked her if I could meet her on the patio as the kids were outside with the dog. The hostess asked why I wasn't coming in to follow her - so I asked if Dogs were allowed inside, she said no. I again repeated that I had 2 kids and 1 dog outside so I would meet her on the patio. She shrugged her shoulders and walked away. I went to the patio only to see the patio was filled with people. She flags me down and says she was wrong, there is a wait. For 2-4 hostesses at the front, they couldn't keep track of if the tables were filled or not? Okay, we'll wait. How long is the approximate wait? The hostess says, "as long as people are here, so like when they are done eating."   What? Can you give me a time approx? We waited for 10 minutes and a table freed up. We were seated, ordered food, and ate. Food was okay. The waitress brought the food but never returned again until it was time to deliver the bill. After we finished, I sent the kids and dog to the car to wait as it was very windy and very hectic. The waitress never returned to finish the paying transaction. I went to the hostess desk and handed the receipt to the hostess and stated i didn't want it to blow away. That was probably a mistake on my part as she said to me, "what am I supposed to do with this?"  I asked her if she could give it to my waitress as I didn't want it to blow away. Found this place while staying at a hotel across street. We choose here as they allowed us to bring our small dog onto outside covered patio. Service was satisfactory. This is the new Roosters in Spring Hurst. This is in a great area and this is a awesome new addition. I absolutely love roosters. This is by far my favorite wing place I believe their wings are very large compared to some other places like a BW3 or Beef O'Brady's. The Waitresses are always really nice people are good they got great cold draft beer I got hot wings always go with the donkey wings with ranch and fries with no telling how much money I've spent in this place to be honest. But I've never had a bad meal here, steak and potato chicken wing type of dude and this is right up my alley I put this above Hooters I put this above any other wing place this is by far my favorite sports bars American bar whatever you want to call it. This restaurant is awesome. They have a large private parking lot, a ton of indoor seating and a spacious outdoor covered patio. The have a nice social distanced bar area, which I ate at, with full service liquor. The restaurant itself is well decorated and trendy. I ordered the Korean BBQ and Carolina Gold wings and potato wedges. The wings are the deep fried battered type and are large. The blue cheese or ranch that they give you are good for about 5 wings. The wings are also not super wet with the sauce that you chose. You can taste the sauce but they are not drenched or covered in it. The staff there is very friendly and helpful. My bartender/server was awesome. She was very helpful, kept my drink full and periodically checked in on me. My meal here was very pleasurable. As they advertise, it is a family fun place. This is exactly what I'd expect from a chain called roosters. It's got a roadhouse style vibe, but it's cleaner and safer haha. I love to come here for the value and honestly, the wings are pretty killer. Oh, the wings are also HUGE. I always get a BLT and some mushroom poppers too. ( this place is great to just pig out at ) The BLT is loaded with bacon which is great! The fries and sauces are pretty good too. A whole basket is like 2 bucks. Done deal. My only complaint really is that the service is iffy sometimes. It can be slow and not very helpful on occasion. Overall it's ok. Also, on occasion, the food doesn't come out perfect. Like my burger I tried once. It was overcooked a lot and not medium like I wanted. Oh well. It's only 6 bucks lol. I will keep coming back here as it's kind of a no brainer and has a little something for everyone except maybe hardcore vegans for instance. There's a lot of meat happening here! Go check it out. The restaurant just opened right near our house. We have been waiting because we love the one in Middletown. Two smiling hostesses greeted us at the door. The place is filled with TV's and lots of fun. Because it's new, this place was hopping and the parking lot was full. However, we were seated right away. Our service was excellent! The friendly server was prompt and attentive. We were visited several times by the owner. It shows he really cares about what's going on and he was working hard to help move food and check on things. He was very apologetic when our food arrived a little later due to someone knocking our tray over on the way to our table. We hadn't even noticed, but they were so wonderful to give us a discount as well as coupons for the next visit. As for the food...the wings are crispy and flavorful. The burgers were grilled perfectly and the toppings were fresh. We also had potato skins. That appetizer arrived quickly and was delicious. We are fans of Roosters and went to the new location in Springhurst to watch a college football game. To start us and ours friends ordered: mushrooms, fried shrimp, potato skins, and pretzels with cheese. The mushrooms were good, the pretzels were the same kind you can buy at Walmart frozen and reheated, they were "meh" and the cheese sauce was canned. The potato skins lacked flavor and were underdone and the shrimp were overdone outside and underdone inside. The fryer seemed to be turned too high. Later we ordered dumpster fries. This was by far the most laughable thing we received. It was a small plate with curly fries, a small amount of cheese sauce dumped in the middle, a few bacon bits, and a small bit of tomatoes and green onions. For good measure there was a bit of cheddar cheese sprinkled about but not melted in the least. Of course it just fell off. It was ridiculous to claim these fries to be "a hot mess". There was barely anything except the actual potato. For our entrees we ordered wings, a fried chicken salad, and a burger. The salad was cold and crisp, the chicken was (again) overdone outside but not hot inside (turn down the fryer!) and the wings were good not great. Our friend didn't remark on his burger so I can't comment there. Perhaps this locale is still working out kinks but until it's vastly improved we won't be back. My wife and I have been here about four times over the past six months. It can always be counted on for consistently good service (even if the kitchen was slow one night) and for having a pleasant atmosphere. Our only objection is that we have yet to find any menu items that really excite us. The signature chicken wings are very poor, the hot ham-and-cheese is just okay as are the pizzas, but the pretzels are certainly great.
