But just as I arrived, another customer reassured me--it turns out he's been coming here for years and couldn't stop raving about the food. From the moment I stepped in, the owner's warm, genuine hospitality completely won me over. I decided to try the protein-rich salad with avocado, jicama, quinoa, kidney beans, tofu, and a mango vinaigrette. I also ordered a fresh carrot-ginger-apple juice and the kale sweet potato quesadilla with pepper jack cheese. Every single bite was unforgettable--fresh and bursting with flavor. Sooo flavorful, creamy, and it smelled amazing. If you like coconut milk, you have to order this soup! For dinner we shared the Pad Thai and the Thai Ginger Noodles. I believe they used to have a Moroccan version I missed but the Argentinian ones they have now with chimichurri sauce were awesome - warm and comforting. The Thai style noodles had a great combo of ingredients, though the noodles were a smidge al dente for my taste and I prefer a less tart sauce. I did love the combination of tofu and peanuts. I hope to try more things on the menu, especially the KFC (cauliflower sandwich) I keep hearing about. I will probably have to repeat that brussel sprout salad every time though! The seating was surprisingly generous - both a table section and a large window counter area. You order at the counter and there is a convenient self service water area.
