We had the combo appetizer which includes your choice of three of the various options (mostly fried). We had the mozz logs (mozzarella sticks), bullets (jalapeño poppers) and clams. The clams were by far the star of these options. The house salads were basic but served on chilled plates with homemade dressings that you don't see much of anymore and they were perfect. We ordered chicken alfredo, raviolis with meat sauce and the walleye. Chicken alfredo was not your cookie cutter dish found anywhere, it was generous on chicken and plenty of flavor other than the sauce. The walleye was two nice size pieces that were thicker and more like mass produced cod filets. I'm more of a fan of the thinner filets that curl up when they're fried but the flavor and batter were perfect. The star of the entrees was the ravioli with meat sauce. I'm sure this is how Nonne Scapecchi built her following when they opened over 25 years ago (We think she's the one who greeted us and showed us to our table). Be sure to save room for one of their homemade desserts too. We shared their butterfinger cake and it was delicious. Our server, Tina, was very friendly and accurate with her advice about our menu questions. Bring your cash or use their ATM in the bar for $3 despite what Yelp says on this listing they're cash only.
