Our home was built in 1978 & is heated by a boiler, which is likely close to the age of the home itself. I initially called another local HVAC repair service, and soonest they could come out was following week. I then called Jerry & he was able to come out the very next day. He is very knowledgeable & makes things easy to understand for us non-technical folk. Jerry called 20 minutes to inform me of his on-time arrival. prior to his prompt arrival. I half expected I would need to replace the rather aged boiler, however, Jerry was able to fix the faulty zones after replacing a circulation pump and a release valve. Last thing to mention, is that Jerry was also very helpful in explaining my heating system and addressing the many questions that I had regarding. Furthermore, I really appreciate him showing me some useful tidbits that I can do myself from time to time to help ensure my unit is running at its best. I don't understand these positive reviews. I paid this company $100 to do an inspection. The kid…read more(and I do mean kid) that came out was able to show me on his tablet that the refrigerant in my central A/C unit is slightly below what would be considered a "good" level. I explained to him that my unit occasionally turns off and then back on in very short intervals. He wasn't able to offer any thoughts as to why that might be happening other than my unit is old. Fast forward 2 weeks. Today, I had a different company come out. Within 30 seconds of him taking off the same exact shield on the back of my A/C unit, he saw a frayed wire. Within 5 minutes he had replaced the wire and the problem was solved. One would think that the kid from Comfort Zone would have noticed it. The guy who was here today showed me the wire, it was RIGHT in front of exactly where the Comfort Zone kid hooked up the same diagnostic tools. If I'm paying to have my unit inspected, I'd think a company is actually INSPECTING the unit. I'm tempted to report this to the BBB. What a complete and utter rip off!!!
