    Your back porch view....so peaceful!
    Mary K.

Really cute, clean cabins with comfy bed and mini stove and fridge with table and chairs. Back porch has chairs and a Weber grille. There's a fire pit. Had a friendly check in. They're only there at the front desk for several hours for check in so check out is just putting keys in a box. No food there but there's a little vending area. Food store and restaurant just down the block. The one major negative? The wifi is basically non existent and, typical of the crappy ATT coverage, there's no real ATT coverage there. So that made the planning of the next days hike at Bryce a little fun. And it's only about a 15 min drive from Bryce but this town was so quiet and peaceful, it was definitely the choice for us. The really cool thing is you're right on an alfalfa field and the next morning while we ate breakfast on the deck we got a friendly hi from the farmer and his dog tending the fields. Very bucolic setting. All in all, we loved our stay here and the price is very reasonable.

I stayed in a cabin here and it was clean, homey, and convenient. The price was also very reasonable. The owners are quite nice and very accommodating. The interior is country/rustic but with comfortable beds, heating/AC, a fridge, microwave, wifi, and clean bathroom. You can also fill up on ice if needed at their main building. The cabins are about a 15 minute drive to Bryce or the red canyons. The town of Tropic itself is not super exciting, but there is a Clark's store which sells most of what you would need. There are a few restaurants in town, though we did not try them and instead opted to get grill right outside our cabins on the provided BBQ grills. Overall, this is a great option for staying right outside Bryce Canyon!

We stayed here for two nights while visiting Bryce Canyon National Park. The cabins were very nice, appeared almost brand new. The rooms include free wifi, refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot and ice bucket and hair dryer. There is also a cute wooden tacks with two chairs to sit and eat at. Out back behind the cabin there is a wooden swing and a BBQ pit where you can cook for yourself if you bring charcoal. A flat screen TV is mounted to the wall in front of the bed. The beds were extremely comfortable. The cabin was so cutely decorated and so conveniently located to Bryce Canyon (about 10 miles away) if we ever come back we would stay here again. This place is definitely worth checking out if you need a place to stay in the area.

These cabins are so darling from the outside with rocking chairs and beautiful plants. Across from cabin 13 there is a penned area with llamas . How neat is that? Picnic table and BBQ grill available. Inside room was very neat and tidy. Even smelled fresh- no mustiness at all. Bright clean linens and towels. A hidden gem of respite after hiking all day! I highly recommend this place .

We pulled up here in the middle of the night because we couldn't get in touch with anyone at the hotel down the street where we thought we had a reservation. Even though it was the middle of the night and she wasn't expecting anyone, she got us into a cabin quickly. Cabins were nice, and very comfortable. The bed was more comfortable than many hotel beds I've slept in. The lady behind the front desk was friendly and helpful, and it was no problem to extend our stay another night when we asked to do so. Two beds, bathroom, little table in the room, several easily accessible electrical outlets, free wi-fi. All in all, my only complaint is that there's really nothing here, and that the only restaurant in town is only open from 12-8. But this is hardly the hotel's fault. I really liked this place.

If you're planning on visiting Bryce Canyon and you don't want to deal with tents and the full camping experience, look no further and STAY HERE. The staff was so friendly; although they state the check-in period ends around 8pm, the staff lives close by and is very accommodating. They are so down to earth and let us know where to return the keys (no formal check-out process) and even pointed out free ice around the corner for guests. We got to our cabin (#8 Deluxe Log Cabin) late at night, and there was no vacancy. This was glamping at its finest. It came with a king size bed, a pull-out bed, a kitchenette that also had plates, flatware, pots/pans, cutting board, utensils, bowls, paper towels, S&P shaker, cable, wifi. There were just so many amenities and the decor all matched one another. The best part about the cabins was the backyard view. We woke up close to sunrise the next morning and was able to get a glimpse of the vast green pastures behind us and cattle/horse. It was gorgeous. It was also very decently priced; about $157 for a cabin and it fit 4 people very comfortably. We got lucky and was able to book the last cabin available for the day we wanted it, so I suggest looking it up early and booking the cabin as soon as you know your trip itinerary!

This accommodation was pretty good for something that you would find in the outer part of Bryce National Park. They have a really nice backyard setup with a fire place and swings. The kitchen is not a huge kitchen, even though that's how they advertise it. It's a small kitchen with utensils provided. Within a mile radius, you will find a market to buy groceries. Only flaws I saw was there isn't enough lighting in the cabin and there isn't any chance to get a late checkout, they are very strict. It's a very nice backyard view!

The cabin was nice and spacious. I would have preferred to stay closer to the park. Everything was clean and nice. Very nice view from Our cabin. No restaurants open after 9:00 pm. There were a lot of sheep near by and we could hear them from our cabin. Parking was not an issue. Very good customer service on the phone and in person.

We drove up late Friday night and arrived around 11pm. The staff were gone, but we called ahead/wrote a note ahead of time, and they made accommodations for us to pick up our key. Checking in was as low drama as it gets. These examples made me feel that the level of service is good, even though we didn't interact with anyone. Sometimes it's the non verbal things that make a difference. Our treehouse was super cute. The living quarters were elevated and the lower level/floor level is an area where you can sit, have a bonfire, bbq using their grill, etc. Overall, it was in good condition. Just minor things like our screen door didn't really line up when closed. It seemed to be clean in areas that are often overlooked, but the shower had a lot of random stray hairs that were not mine. Also the water pressure is low. I'm not sure if that's by design or not... The room's features are pretty standard: Mini fridge, kitchen sink, small closet, king bed and a loft with two twins. The property is located just on the other side of Bryce Canyon. You can see the colorful canyon-top from the tree house. It's a very convenient 20 minute drive from the park entrance. It's remote and very quiet. It was truly beautiful and serene. There is a wash nearby that filled up due to some rain, but the next day it dried out. The wash does not affect access to the road or hotel, fortunately. There is a restaurant on site. It's decent. It's pricy. Service is on par with a higher end restaurant in the city, but the food flavors were slightly above average. Not sure if I'd go back to the restaurant. There's a town down the street that also has food and a store.

I was in cabin 10 and the door sticks and I couldn't get in with the passcode that they sent me in my email. I ended up having to call and then somebody came in an ATV. I waited less than five minutes. It was really quick. He came by and he opened the door for me. I tried it. It worked. I was skeptical. He did mention how a few guests before me also had issues with a lock, so it definitely is something that should have been fixed since it was a known issue. I went to dinner and I was lucky. The guy just happened to be at the cabins because there's not normally somebody on site but it's very easy to get someone to come to you if you need help and he had to let me in again because the door was sticking. I had decided I better not leave the cabin anymore or sit outside like I wanted to because I didn't know if I would be able to get the door open. It was exceptionally clean. It had a very nice layout. The bathroom smelled so good. I actually didn't take a shower there or anything. So I can't comment on that. I feel like the counter in the bathroom needs more support. It's definitely coming away from the sink and it adds a cheapness to the cabin. I will say, though that the runs on the chairs need to be dusted and there's a lot of dust settling on the logs on the walls so there does need to be some dusting done, and there was a huge cobweb that was hanging from the ceiling in the bathroom, it was very obvious to me so I'm not sure how that was overlooked. I was warned by someone else that there were scorpions in traffic. I brought a black light and scorpion killer with me and I checked the cabin and there was nothing in there with the black light scorpions. Do show up with black lights.... It seems pretty insulated, but I could see some light coming through some of the slats in the doors so I just wanted to be careful. It was a great experience and I would recommend these to anyone however, be very careful because these cabins are set back behind two other motels that have log cabins as well. And these are very nice compared to the first ones I went to and the properties all have very similar names. So just watch for that.

This is where my husband and I stayed for one night. Leading up to our stay the communication was excellent. We were tolldd that we could park in the carport since our lodging would be in the "little blue house with a white patio just to the left of the carport." We had a passcode to get inside and noticed the updated amenities in the living room and bedroom area. The kitchen was something from yesterday - quite small and the freezer was unusable. (See picture.) The bed was VERY comfortable and won a full star, otherwise this review would have been one star. After we had unloaded, we wanted to get down to planning our next day's travel, so we fired up the laptop....and looked for a placard in the unit mentioning the Wi-Fi name or password. I called the owner and was told that he was out getting supplies, but he was able to send me the information via text, telling me 'Don't use the password we sent you in the email yesterday; it's wrong.' We tried on the laptop - nothing. We tried on the iPad - nothing. We tried on BOTH of our phones - NOTHING! For each of our attempts, we kept getting a message 'Unable to join network 'Bryce Point Internet.'" After 30 minutes of trying the password provided, along with other variations of what it could be, i.e., B and B, B&B, B & B, BnB, I called the owner back. He said he would send his cleaning person out to help since he wasn't in the area. When she first came in, she immediately said, "Oh yeah, I have trouble getting internet out here all the time when I am cleaning." She made several attempts, but the same error message came up. I asked her if the little blue house had its own router, and she said no. I asked where the router for Bryce Point Internet is, and she told me 'In the house.' With at least three other guest rooms, and a 30-foot distance across a driveway/carport to the little blue house, surely this was the problem - the signal was not strong enough to connect. I texted the owner but never heard back. We decided to move on and went to find something to eat. After dinner, I went into the main house to get an extra blanket. There was NO ONE to be found, anywhere. Frustrated, we called it a night. In the morning I went to take a shower. When I pulled the handle to start the flow of water, it came out the spigot as expected. When I went to pull the knob for the shower to engage - NOTHING. I turned it off, turned it on, and still the shower did not work. I called my husband in to help. He has 40 years of HVAC experience, and even he could not get the shower to work. I opted for a bath, and, when trying to get the stopper to work, we learned that it wasn't even attached. In our frustration, we decided to pack up and leave, foregoing the amazing breakfast that everyone raves about, for fear that that too would be a dismal disappointment. I did get a text after notifying the owner that we left. "Thank you for letting us know this information, we will be having our maintenance guy look at these issues today before our next guest comes through. Sorry for the inconvenience of the internet not working. This is the first we have heard about this; we will get a hold of our internet provider out there today as well. (Funny, that is not what the cleaning person mentioned to us.) It strikes me as odd that we never saw anyone 'managing' the property the whole time we were there. Many reviews talk about the hosts for this property, and we were kind of looking forward to that engagement, but instead were left with a sterile, fend-for-yourself atmosphere. There are MANY raving reviews about Happy Trails BnB, and that is what drew me to book this location. None of the reviews mention the little blue house, so I wonder if it is a newer addition and IMO not ready for customers yet.

I called the manager (really sweet lady), and she told us we could take the tank from cabin 1. That one was empty, too, so we ended up taking a tank from cabin 4. I let the lady know and the next day she picked up the empty tanks. Oh, and finding this place in the dark isn't the easiest. They could maybe put up a bigger sign, or have more lights.

So my son has been itching to ride ATVs for the longest time. Due to his not having a license or…read morecosts, we just were not able to pull it off. He got to do it finally at scout camp, and has been wanting to go again now that he is of age and has a license. While here on vacation, American ATV Rentals fit our needs and the almost full day trip was quite the experience. Owners David and Tina were most professional and helpful with every step of our excursion. We had a lot of choices to make. First was what kind of vehicles were we going to use. They had the ATVs, 2 and 4-seaters, and some were meant for those over 200lbs which we all needed (slight extra charge for that). We also had to decide what length of "tour" we wanted. We had three drivers and four people, so we went with a two-seater and two ATVs all with the upgraded suspension for the weight. We then chose the 4 hour tour which for most should be the right amount of time for the 44 or so mile loop or back and forth from just about the midpoint. The course was explained and different points of interest and also points of reference to not get lost. I'm glad my wife was our guide on this trip! Next was the safety equipment. We were all provided with helmets and goggles all of which fit well and snug over glasses without any problems. They also provide gloves. All must be worn 100% of the time you're riding or else. They also will provide backpacks and bungee cords. They sell water if needed. We then went outside and got acquainted with our vehicles. How to start them, put in gear, brakes, and rules of the road. We were then on our way! David brought us to a point, gave a more detailed explanation of the course and what to look for. Only at the time we left did our "4-hour tour" time start. We were expected at the end to top off all gas tanks (high grade fuel only) and come back to the business. The trip along so many different views and geological points was awesome. And then almost right at the start I rolled my machine on the side. The gas tank cover came off and I was spilling fuel. Thankfully I wasn't seriously hurt and got up quickly to put it back on four wheels. It drove just fine and I didn't have a flat. I just had some brush burn and a small cut on my elbow. The other negative was just past the 3/4 mark. My son's ATV just stopped and would not move in gear. It revved up but would not engage in gear forward or backward. We ended up pulling out the tow strap on the two-seater and towed it in neutral the final few miles. I had to apologize to my kid for all the dust. You are allowed to stop anywhere for pictures and if you want a souvenir you can take it as you're not in the State park. We did not see any others on our whole route...just some cows. We finally made it to the gas station almost next door to the ATV business, topped off the tanks, and made it back. I was pleased as punch that the ATV I rolled made it back. My wife and I changed at the midpoint so I drove and eventually towed the broken ATV in the two seater, and my wife drove the rolled ATV. Once back (about 25 minutes late due to the issues) I explained our problems on the trip and David was understanding. I did have to pay a 20% depreciation cost for the damage I caused to the ATV. We weren't charged for the issue with the other ATV. This was within the contract we signed and waivers. It was less than I expected, and we just made it work. Overall, my whole family had a great time driving even with the issues we experienced. Some pointers I highly recommend: wear long sleeves, pants, and boots (not sneakers). You will get very dusty. Bring a lot of water and maybe snacks or sandwiches. Remember, however, time stopped does not extend your tour time. The sun beats down and you will get sunburned. There's very little shaded areas. We were told when we asked that the routes we took were classified as mostly beginner to some intermediate level driving. 25mph maximum based on Utah laws, but you're not doing that on these trails. My family and I highly recommend American ATV Rentals for a fun time. It's not cheap, but it was worth the experience! $1000 for the two ATVs and two seater for a four hour tour, safety review, map review, and you have to gas them up before returning them with premium fuel. I also paid a bonus $175 for the 20% of depreciation costs of the damaged parts. Oh well. The shower once we got home and two Tylenol was awesome.
