Wow what an amazing two days we spent at Bryce Trails B&B. When we arrived the room(Bristol Cove Room) was ready and the key were handing downstairs. Room was super cozy, with an incredible view of the mountains and bed was super comfortable with high quality linens. We rested super well during all of our stay which is super important when you are traveling and hiking all day long. At night we dressed warm and went stargazing , it didn't even look real you can see so many stars. Loved it! In the morning we met Ed and Lena for breakfast, they are super welcoming and knowledgeable gave all the visitors a lot of tips and advices for area around. The breakfast was phenomenal! We had yogurt with granola, eggs Benedict with bacon and sausage and also apple turnovers, everything was cooked from the scratch and tasted like heaven.me and my husband were super happy(especially since I couldn't finish it all and he helped) We spend day hiking using hosts tips and loved it(it was great time to visit since not that many people in park). At evening we had amazing rest again and are at local restaurant. Another advantage is location it's only 15 min away from Bryce NP and from Willis Creek Slots (must see place we found out from Ed and Lena). And in Topic there are a lot of good places to have dinner or pick stuff up 3 min away from B&B which is super convenient. I'm extremely happy we choose Bryce Trails B&B for our stay. It was magnificent! Thank you guys and we can't wait to come back to spend another vacation at the house.

A month before I decided to travel to Bryce Canyon NP, I looked around for hotels and was underwhelmed by the quality for the price that I'd have to pay. Then I remembered that B&Bs are also an option. Some searching around led me to Bryce Trails, located just 10-15 minutes away from the park. The B&B is pretty difficult to find with GPS. While on the main road, conveniently named Main St, make a right on Bryce Way. There's a school that you pass on the left. The B&B is right after the school. I couldn't get cell reception on T-mobile, so I couldn't look up Google Maps. The B&B is pretty nice. I booked two nights in the Fairyland room (all the rooms are named after Bryce Canyon NP trails), which has its own private entrance. The room was spotless. The bed was super comfortable. Unfortunately, the room is located right next to the dining area and I was woken up early by some early risers at 6am. There is wifi available, but it's slow. Don't expect to do any work while you're here (you're on vacation after all). Breakfast starts at 8am. The first morning, we had french toast. That was the first time I had blueberry cream cheese. The second morning, we had their signature Bryce Trails' omelet. For dessert, we were served a fruit parfait. Breakfast was always filling and a welcome start to long days of hiking. One of the added bonuses of staying at a B&B is that you get to converse with other guests about which trails to hike and where to go for dinner. The proprietor, Paula, was very nice and knowledgeable about the area having only started the B&B in February.

This is where my husband and I stayed for one night. Leading up to our stay the communication was excellent. We were tolldd that we could park in the carport since our lodging would be in the "little blue house with a white patio just to the left of the carport." We had a passcode to get inside and noticed the updated amenities in the living room and bedroom area. The kitchen was something from yesterday - quite small and the freezer was unusable. (See picture.) The bed was VERY comfortable and won a full star, otherwise this review would have been one star. After we had unloaded, we wanted to get down to planning our next day's travel, so we fired up the laptop....and looked for a placard in the unit mentioning the Wi-Fi name or password. I called the owner and was told that he was out getting supplies, but he was able to send me the information via text, telling me 'Don't use the password we sent you in the email yesterday; it's wrong.' We tried on the laptop - nothing. We tried on the iPad - nothing. We tried on BOTH of our phones - NOTHING! For each of our attempts, we kept getting a message 'Unable to join network 'Bryce Point Internet.'" After 30 minutes of trying the password provided, along with other variations of what it could be, i.e., B and B, B&B, B & B, BnB, I called the owner back. He said he would send his cleaning person out to help since he wasn't in the area. When she first came in, she immediately said, "Oh yeah, I have trouble getting internet out here all the time when I am cleaning." She made several attempts, but the same error message came up. I asked her if the little blue house had its own router, and she said no. I asked where the router for Bryce Point Internet is, and she told me 'In the house.' With at least three other guest rooms, and a 30-foot distance across a driveway/carport to the little blue house, surely this was the problem - the signal was not strong enough to connect. I texted the owner but never heard back. We decided to move on and went to find something to eat. After dinner, I went into the main house to get an extra blanket. There was NO ONE to be found, anywhere. Frustrated, we called it a night. In the morning I went to take a shower. When I pulled the handle to start the flow of water, it came out the spigot as expected. When I went to pull the knob for the shower to engage - NOTHING. I turned it off, turned it on, and still the shower did not work. I called my husband in to help. He has 40 years of HVAC experience, and even he could not get the shower to work. I opted for a bath, and, when trying to get the stopper to work, we learned that it wasn't even attached. In our frustration, we decided to pack up and leave, foregoing the amazing breakfast that everyone raves about, for fear that that too would be a dismal disappointment. I did get a text after notifying the owner that we left. "Thank you for letting us know this information, we will be having our maintenance guy look at these issues today before our next guest comes through. Sorry for the inconvenience of the internet not working. This is the first we have heard about this; we will get a hold of our internet provider out there today as well. (Funny, that is not what the cleaning person mentioned to us.) It strikes me as odd that we never saw anyone 'managing' the property the whole time we were there. Many reviews talk about the hosts for this property, and we were kind of looking forward to that engagement, but instead were left with a sterile, fend-for-yourself atmosphere. There are MANY raving reviews about Happy Trails BnB, and that is what drew me to book this location. None of the reviews mention the little blue house, so I wonder if it is a newer addition and IMO not ready for customers yet.

We arrived to what appeared to be an abandoned home in the middle of a neighborhood about 20 minutes from the park. We called the three posted numbers to no response. We walked to the front porch, knocked and rang the door bell, no response. Upon the fourth call, a man irritatedly picked up, asked if we were there, and told us to open the mail laying upside down on the ground on the side of the house, and hung up. There is no one on location. The Bed and Breakfast doesn't serve breakfast, citing Covid (though every other hotel we attended in Utah served it), and told us they left us some. We walked into a kitchen with crickets, dead bugs, moldy food, and empty containers. It was disgusting. The advertisement and pictures are nothing close to the establishments reality. The room's decor has either been removed or stolen, as there were just barren nails hanging out of the wall. There were stains on the carpet and no temperature control. The bathroom hardly fits one person and did not feel clean. There were no outdoor lights on, and we came back to a pitch black house with all the main doors unlocked. We cleaned the microwave before touching it to make dinner and rewashed all utensils and cups. Long story short, this place is nothing close to what they make it out to be and should not be listed as a suitable place to stay.

As one of the lower price rooms the old adage is true, you get what you pay for!

I believe this was an honest mistake and this isn't the reason for the bad review. It's how it was handled filed later. I called the hotel at least 5 times to request a refund because 4 of the times no one picked up the phone and there was no answering machine. The lady told me to email the owner (the email is not published online), which I did and I included proof of the double charged. No action was taken even after I followed up via email.
