I'm gonna say these are pretty awesome. I would have given these a five but I had some minor issues. I was in cabin 10 and the door sticks and I couldn't get in with the passcode that they sent me in my email. I ended up having to call and then somebody came in an ATV. I waited less than five minutes. It was really quick. He came by and he opened the door for me. I tried it. It worked. I was skeptical. He did mention how a few guests before me also had issues with a lock, so it definitely is something that should have been fixed since it was a known issue. I went to dinner and I was lucky. The guy just happened to be at the cabins because there's not normally somebody on site but it's very easy to get someone to come to you if you need help and he had to let me in again because the door was sticking. I had decided I better not leave the cabin anymore or sit outside like I wanted to because I didn't know if I would be able to get the door open. It was exceptionally clean. It had a very nice layout. The bathroom smelled so good. I actually didn't take a shower there or anything. So I can't comment on that. I feel like the counter in the bathroom needs more support. It's definitely coming away from the sink and it adds a cheapness to the cabin. I will say, though that the runs on the chairs need to be dusted and there's a lot of dust settling on the logs on the walls so there does need to be some dusting done, and there was a huge cobweb that was hanging from the ceiling in the bathroom, it was very obvious to me so I'm not sure how that was overlooked. I was warned by someone else that there were scorpions in traffic. I brought a black light and scorpion killer with me and I checked the cabin and there was nothing in there with the black light scorpions. Do show up with black lights.... It seems pretty insulated, but I could see some light coming through some of the slats in the doors so I just wanted to be careful. It was a great experience and I would recommend these to anyone however, be very careful because these cabins are set back behind two other motels that have log cabins as well. And these are very nice compared to the first ones I went to and the properties all have very similar names. So just watch for that. read more

I was traveling to Bryce Canyon National Park and chose to stay at Bryce Canyon Log Cabins. Before my arrival I received instructions to the cabin with cabin number and passcode. (No staff on site). The cabins are in a line with a generous parking space across from the cabin facing a field with picnic table. Each cabin has a front porch with two chairs and small side table. The inside was attractive with two queen beds. It was clean and the decor was upscale rustic suitable for a log cabin. It was adequately supplied for my needs and included, WiFi, mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The only minor glitch was the plunger on the sink didn't work well. The plunger knob was not attached to the drain. All in all it was a lovely stay and within walking distance to restaurants. I enjoyed sitting on the porch in the evening. I could even hear roosters from the neighboring farm in the morning. I would highly recommend a stay at Bryce Canyon Log Cabins. read more

So glad we found this place. I've stayed in cabins before and I expect them to be somewhat rustic. These have a well designed layout and are immaculate. Located in the charming town of Tropic near a few stores and restaurants that are well stocked with essentials and food. The cabins have a microwave and fridge. All check-in is contactless because of COVID. Our GPS put us at a different cabin rental, but once we got here we were so happy! The cabins are large with no shared walls. The view is good. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and super-cute. You're across the street from a great coffee shop. It's so quick and easy to get to Bryce Canyon or to the shuttle. We brought a 13 year old and she even loved it. After a day of hiking and taking pictures, this is the perfect place to end the day. read more

Note that there are a number of "log cabin" businesses, both in Tropic and elsewhere in the vicinity of Bryce Canyon National Park, some look good, some not so good. The cabins were nice and spacious for my wife and I. Had everything you need for a couple night stay. The location is about 20 minutes away from Bryce Canyon NP. A lot comfier than you should expect if you have only stayed in hotels or airbnbs. The bedding was super nice and AC unit kept us toasty through the night. The bathroom is a bit drafty though so brace ya butts. Oh, and the Roku TVs work real nice! This was my 4th trip to Bryce. Every time, I have opted to stay at Ruby's Inn. It was close to the park, a restaurant in the hotel and near a gas station. Times have changed, Ruby's Inn prices are a lot higher. The review for the restaurant is barely acceptable. There were a few newer hotels nearby but all were quoting higher than normal prices. I opted to stay in a neaby town of Tropic. The checkin was fast and easy. The log cabin was very homey and spacious. 2 queen beds, a refrigerator with ample towels. I sat in the front porch for half an hour until the winds picked up. For once in this trip, we did not have to worry about waking up other hotel / motel guests! The internet wifi worked really well inside the room but was spotty during the time I sat in the front porch. I will definitely stay here again in the future. read more

Pictures look good on site. The interior is open and spacious and a nice change from a hotel room. Mostly easy access to Bruce Canyon Park. The front desk lady was nice but somewhat socially awkward. She did take care of a few needs for us, like burned out light bulbs and a tv that needed programmed (. No cable - only weird over the airwaves stations like Grit , Laff and Tvland ) The carpets needed cleaned. Flies in cabin meant me chasing down and killing flies. Weird water pressure. My biggest peeve was that it was in the middle of a gravel parking lot. No cuteness there. Just plunked in. I figured maybe it was newer and they would landscape or something . Nope. Don't book here, they are scamming people. I booked with them through hotels.com and then found out my trip would not work out so I cancelled my reservations as they had FREE cancellation. Mind you though that I also choose the option to not pay right away, I will pay when I arrive. I was shocked to see $700+ immediately put onto my credit card. I started seeing online reviews of how they don't answer the phones, emails, etc. I started contacting them about a refund because I was getting concerned and found this to be true. They are impossible to get a hold of. They don't answer the phones, the voice mail boxes are full, the phones aren't set up, emails go unanswered, etc. I finally got through and the gentleman I talked to said they are changing their system and they don't allow to pay when you arrive, you have to pay up front. There is also no free cancellation. Then why don't they pull their cabins off of the sites (hotels.com, booking.com, etc.) if this is the case??? He assured me they aren't scamming people!?!? I totally disagree as they keep their establishment listed so that they can continue to scam people into paying up front and then if you cancel, will charge you a huge deposit fee, even though they are advertising "Free Cancellation", "No Charge Up Front" on these sites. I was then given a phone number for the manager, Jake, and put in a call to him. Guess what, his voice mail is full too! I sent a text and he said he was in a low signal area and would look into it about giving me a refund. Still no answer 24 hours later. After getting more concerned by the pattern of online reviews of issues with them, I called/text back the following day and again, no response. I am now having to dispute this through my credit card company to get my money back as they have proven they don't care about the customer, only about scamming people. Stay far away from this place and look at similar reviews to mine if you care about your money! I've seen them responding to other negative reviews about a change in management and they are working hard to make things right. Some of those reviews were two months ago so no, they aren't working hard to make things right. It's sad and disgusting that a company would treat customers like this. It's equally disgusting that hotels.com would keep a company like this on their site! read more

This was our first time in Bryce and I am sooo glad we decided to stay here. This place is really cute, clean, and well maintained. I loved that we had our own cabin/room not connected to each other. When we walked in, I noticed how clean it was and it even smelled great! The interior decor had a very homey feel to it. We had one king bed that was very spacious and comfortable. I appreciated that we had a mini fridge which was so helpful to store our food and water. We really enjoyed our stay, I wish we had taken a pic of our cabin lol. I made a 2 nights reservation for June 2023 through Hotels.com. The reservation was fully refundable if canceled with 48 hours prior to the check in. The deal was to pay the establishment directly for 1/3 of the full amount (around $111) as initial deposit and the remaining balance ($222) at the checkout. However, Bryce Canyon Log Cabins charged me the initial deposit and a couple of days later they also charged me for the remaining balance. I didn't like the fact that they did not honor their own policy and I decided to cancel the reservation and find another place to stay. They refunded me for $222 and didn't refund me for the initial deposit of $111. I reviewed the reservation details to ensure it was fully refundable and contacted Hotels.com to assist me. They told me because the hotel was the one that charged me, I would need to reach out to them for the refund. I called Bryce Canyon Log Cabins; several times and I always get a message that the mailbox is full and can't not take messages. I emailed them twice with screen shots of the reservation and charges but nobody even bothers to reply. I contacted Hotel.com again because even though Bryce Canyon Log Cabins needs to be the one to issue the refund, I still booked the reservation through Hotels.com, so I think they have a liability to ensure the business they are referring to customers are legitimate. Hotels.com was not able to contact Bryce Canyon Log Cabins either because they just don't answer their phones. I ended up calling my credit card company and filled a dispute with them, which can take up to 90 days to resolve. Terrible business, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. read more

Gracious host, Immaculate, spacious cabin, all amenities one could expect- except one that was important to me. OK, call me an uptight urbanite who can't get a long for a couple days without internet. This place says it has WiFi but perhaps our cabin was located too far from the router because the signal was so weak it couldn't be sustained more than a minute or two. The bars on my device fluctuated between 1 and zero. I had taken so many beautiful pictures yesterday and I was eager to email them to friends and post them to Facebook. I'm also writing a blog that I wanted to update. So ignore the last two paragraphs if you think I'm just being a jerk. Exceeded our expectations. Booked online and received our cabin number and combination code for door by phone. that worked out perfectly for our late check in. We were able to go straight to our cabin which was clean and well kept. The air conditioner was turned on for us so the room was nice and cool. The only problem we had was actually finding our cabin in the dark. There are multiple different log cabins motels quite close by. "Bryce Canyon Log Cabins" are set back off Main St. Make sure you look for the ones with red metal roofs. We were very happy with our stay. read more

Kenny was able to help us find a room & even was kind enough to put a hold on future nights in case the weather changed either way. Plus he let us use his propane BBQ!! Stayed here with friends for our Utah road trip, and experienced service better than most brand name hotels. Maybe it's the people of Utah, but the owners were super friendly and accommodating. The cabin itself was quite roomy, with an A/C/heating unit, two beds, a nightstand, a table, microwave, mini fridge, and a flat screen tv on the wall. Overall, everything was very clean (it looked like it was brand new), and just very cozy. To top it all off, the price we got was really good (around $80 a night). I will admit that the office isn't open 24/7, and if you want something you have to call and wait about 15-20 minutes for it to arrive, but that's understandable, given the layout of the town (and the fact that I think this business is family-owned). Free wifi was also nice, but VERY spotty. For the most part, it was either really slow or nonexistent, but you can barely get cell reception in town too. All in all, a cozy (and clean) place to stay that's totally worth it. read more

The cabin was very quaint! Loved it except for the bed which was not comfortable at all. The mattress was making me slide over the side so I couldn't sleep through the night. We made the mistake of booking a room via their website. Don't do this. We booked for 3 weeks out. You have to choose your dates to see availability so I most definitely chose a date in the future. The system charged my card and instead booked our date for the exact same day I booked the room which was done at 9pm. We didn't notice right away and called as soon as we did. Their response? Too bad. Your loss, our $200 gain and she was incredibly rude about it. NOBODY would have been staying in that cabin that night. Yay for them. They got $200 for nothing. Nice accommodations, but only good for two people. The owner was very nice, and the cabins are close to Zion National park (around 10 miles). There is a general supermarket near the cabins, which have so many wonderful items. Wifi was not too strong, since you are in the mountains, and if you take long showers, expect to runout of hot water. My daughter and I stayed here for two nights when we went to Bryce Canyon. This is one of the nicest cabins I've stayed in. Two very comfortable queen beds with nice linens, full bath with soft towels, and nice soaps. Also has a microwave, mini frig, and tv in room. Wifi was great and strong -- could even stream tv shows. Outside, they offer parking spot for your vehicle and picnic tables with grills. I will definitely stay here again when we come back to the region. read more

We are from Kauai and decided to take a long road trip after our oldest son played in a baseball tournament memorial day weekend in Vegas. Our goal the Moab... WE decided to take a night rest near Bryce Canyon and reserved at the Bryce Canyon Log Cabins. We arrived around 4:30pm and had no problem checking in. We got cabin #2 with easy parking and unloading. The cabin itself was gorgeous ( I guess I am a true island girl, we don't see these sort of things in Hawaii) we were is awe with the craftsmanship. The cleanliness was impeccable and the hot water shower was awesome. WE had 2 queen beds which were comfy enough for a night lots of outlets to recharge our electronics and the wi-fi worked great. The town itself is small with limited resources but it was charming and fun. We are a family of 4 with mom and dad a 14 year old and a 9 year old and we really enjoyed out stop here and would highly recommend these cabins. read more

Beware of the owner. The rooms were just fine and they were accomidating to give us a charcoal grill to cook with. Problem was, a week after we went home, they charged us 110 dollars extra. We called and they claimed we broke their wooden table (which was broken when we first opened the door), said we stole two of their pillows (which we never did), "ruined" two of their white towels by washing our feet off with mud (which never happened) and "shattered" a plug face (which we also never did). Its comical because we actually cleaned the room pretty well before we left (pulled the sheets and blankets off the bed, put the towels in a pile, and wiped off the counters and sink). I politely tried to reason with the guy and he called me and my family thieves and liars. I told him the table was already broken and he told me I should have taken an inventory of broken things in the room before we signed the papers. I told him I was appalled at his tone with me and he got very loud in voice and said he was appalled we ruined his cabin and that I was wasting his time. I asked him if 110 dollars was more important than getting future customers and he said yes. I don't know how else to say I'm very let down he doesn't trust people. Oh, also, just off state road 89 (20 or so miles west) there are hotel rooms for 59 bucks. Heck, stay across the street in the motel for a better experience including laundry, ice, and a paved driveway for almost the same price. Anywhere but here. read more
