He suggested I get some type of laser surgery for my face to make it look better which is not the reason why I came in. He is basically a botox doc and his focus is on cosmetic dermatology. After my nose was broken in an abusive incident, I contacted Dr. Weinfeld's office for a revision consultation. The first nurse was kind and said they could get me in quickly. When my financial situation improved a couple weeks later, I reached out again and explained the urgency. Another nurse then reviewed my message and told me they no longer wanted to take me on as a patient. This was very distressing, especially as someone reaching out for help after trauma. When I called to clarify, I received scripted, dismissive responses and no willingness to reconsider. I'm posting this so others know how the staff handled my situation. If you need supportive or compassionate care during a vulnerable time, please take my experience into account.
