We were losing coverage and needed some help understanding our options. Got a tailored plan based off of age, income, employment status, medical needs, dependents, preferred DR's and Hospitals, typical insurance usage, prescriptions, etc etc. I was told before I left, if I had any questions or issues arise along the way, to give them a call for anything related to our plan, coverage or billing. So the excellent service didn't stop at the point of making the first payment. If you are lost in a sea of plans, make your appointment! Thanks for all your help yesterday Marci !!

I just got a great auto insurance rate with Giles Insurance Brokers out of Anderson, CA…read more I had been with Allstate for 20 years, and switched to Progressive about a year ago for a lower rate. This past renewal, Progressive sent me a letter telling me they were raising mine and my hub's rates by 30%, at no fault of our own. They said it was due to demographics. Of course I was not happy. They wanted $210 per month to insure 2 cars, one with full coverage and one with liability only. Tiffany at Giles got all three of our cars covered with full coverage, a $500 collision deductible and a $100 comprehensive deductible, for less than that with Nationwide / Allied, which is an A+ rated company. She really took the time to look at the best options for us. Great, friendly service...check it out if you want to get a quote, and remember your broker doesn't have to live in the same town as you...you typically only talk to them on the phone, right? And if you are going direct to the insurance company, like I was with Progressive, definitely make the change to a broker...they really work for you and not dealing direct with the insurance company yourself is so nice. There are no fees from you to broker either, the insurance companies pay their fees. It's like having a personal shopper, but for insurance, saving you loads of time and aggravation. Bottom Line: Call Giles Insurance and ask for Tiffany, and tell her I sent ya...you will be happy you did! :)

They are always easy to work with. So I guess I'm going to support Mr. C's report here, and agree with him. Our kids have continued on with them after we've kicked them out of the nest, too, BTW. I'm gonna give 'em 5 stars because we've not only gotten our money's worth, we've gotten bonus service over the last several years.

The person on the phone blasted me with statements- here's a quote-" what you need to do is spend the rest of the day getting quotes, then call us back and I (she) would put me in touch with an agent who would discuss my other needs". She never stop talking, never asked what my needs were, and was only interested in selling insurance products that they wanted to sell. I don't understand why they would want to be listed on the state's official site. There are professional ways to say they don't want my business, and it starts with asking me what product(s) I am looking for- never happened. Cal site says agents/brokers on their list are duty bound to help us insure our homes--I called willing to pay for help--and was met with no inclination to be of any service whatsoever.
