GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! They do not care about their customers! I have been with Danny Day Allstate since August 5, 2014; so roughly 9 years. To say I'm disgusted with them and their lack of accountability is an understatement! I have my monthly premium payment come straight out of my bank on or about the 20th of each month. I called their office on 5/18 and spoke with Gracie. I explained I needed to postpone my payment a few days and asked if that would cause any coverage issues. I was told had 10 additional days (on or before the 30th) to pay with no penalty and no adverse actions against my coverage. I told Gracie "so I should cancel my scheduled auto pay so it doesn't go through, then call or go online and pay". She said "yes" All was great ... or so I thought. I immediately canceled my auto pay; then paid my monthly payment on 5/30/23. Next thing I know I get an email at 1:50am today (6/05/23) from Danny Day Allstate saying to call their office to avoid policy cancellation!! I call and speak with Leticia Smith who tells me since I CANCELED the auto pay; my entire 6mo policy balance is due in full. She further stated I have no coverage effective 6/04/23 (yesterday) and my policy will terminate 6/12 of payment is not received. Leticia said GRACIE SHOULD HAVE CANCELED/SUSPENDED the auto pay when I called. Then once I made the monthly payment on the 30th it would start back up with the next payment being due 6/20/23. Although Leticia admitted this was an error on Gracie's part and I did as Gracie instructed; there was nothing they could do. I owe my 6mo premium balance in full. I was also informed Gracie is no longer employed there (NOT SURPRISED) WTF!?!?? I asked to speak with Danny Day directly and was placed on hold; Leticia returned and said "Danny wants to know if you're able to pay the amount due in full" SERIOUSLY... NO! I was told that Danny couldn't do anything and I need to pay the policy premium in full or coverage will terminate 6/14. HORRIBLE WAY TO TREAT A LOYAL CUSTOMER OF ALMOST 10yrs!!! read more

Once again they have sent me to collections with ZERO communication, and the collections is because I was apparently suppose to pay a month in advance, and since I didn't they still canceled my policy, then sent me to collections on the amount for the month I didn't even have coverage! I will not be going through them again, and if you are like me, and things are tight, and you are not positive you can pay for a month in advance, DO NOT USE THEM! I've been with Danny's office for about 3 years now. Last year, I had a minor collision with a child on a bike. I was so distraught and took my car straight to the office. The staff is always polite there. I did have problems with the claims department. I was told by a rep (at the 800#) that her rude repeated questions were to cover me from being sued personally and to hopefully keep a point off my perfect record. I was very upset since I had a dent in the side fender of my car caused by a bicyclist who was riding in the wrong direction and many witnesses came forward. If I hit this kid, the dent would not have been in the side fender of my car. It would have been in the front. He ran into me, which is what Danny and his staff fully understood. Danny personally got involved in my claim (was in his office on the phone for quite some time in a "serious discussion" while I waited) and got me a pleasant rep to deal with and assured me I would not be personally sued outside of Allstate and that I wouldn't get a point on my record. His didn't have to do that. I've only had good experiences at this office. Some of the staff has come, and gone, but everyone there is nice. I have no complaints.. :) read more

My husband has been with Danny Day for many many years, never has Danny contacted us to review both our home and auto coverages to make sure we have the coverage we needed, and discuss options. Never did we think we would be the losers on a home claim!!! We recently were the victims of a home invasion and all of my mother's jewelry was stolen. We opened a claim right away, and was told to make a list of everything stolen. I had pictures of all the jewelry that was stolen. I spent hours compiling a list. Than I was told I needed to list the approximate purchase prices and how long I had owned each piece, which again took hours. WE had two doors broken during the process of the home invasion. Total jewelry stolen was about 13K, and there were at least 30-40 individual pieces of jewelry. I sent it all to Allstate, only to be told that I would receive 1,000 for my jewelry and 675.00 to repair the two doors. Are you kidding me? I spent hours compiling the list, identifying the pieces in pictures, which for 1,000 they didn't even need. There is no way I can replace most of that jewelry since some of it was pretty old, but I was hoping to be able to replace a few pieces to pass along to grandchildren. For 1,000 I sadly cannot even replace my wedding ring. Thanks Danny Day for making sure we had the coverage we needed. We will be looking for an insurance agent that actually cares about his clients. read more

In my opinion, this Allstate, giving them one star is more than they should get. This place screwed me out of a few hundred dollars. And they told me they changed the coverage. I have called and gone in several times. And they are constantly messing the coverage up. They blame other staff that works there. Then tell you there is nothing they can do. You can't believe them In anything they say. You will notice your coverage has changed. And you did not do it. They say they fixed it but didn't. Over the last year an half. I have been disrespected, lied to, and lost a lot of money. I told them to take a truck off because I traded it in. Put coverage on the new one. And they charge me for both. Then I have not refunded me the money. They said they can't backdate more than 60 days. But I told them in less than 60. You just can't believe anything this group tells you. I put the same glass coverage on both Vehicles. They only put it on one. There are so many things. I am done. I will be looking for another insurance agent. Not worth the money or headaches. Tired of all the excuses. They seemed to be untrained because of all the mistakes and blaming on other stuff. I can't emphasize that enough. If you do want to have Allstate. Get a different agent. read more
