I just got a great auto insurance rate with Giles Insurance Brokers out of Anderson, CA…read more I had been with Allstate for 20 years, and switched to Progressive about a year ago for a lower rate. This past renewal, Progressive sent me a letter telling me they were raising mine and my hub's rates by 30%, at no fault of our own. They said it was due to demographics. Of course I was not happy. They wanted $210 per month to insure 2 cars, one with full coverage and one with liability only. Tiffany at Giles got all three of our cars covered with full coverage, a $500 collision deductible and a $100 comprehensive deductible, for less than that with Nationwide / Allied, which is an A+ rated company. She really took the time to look at the best options for us. Great, friendly service...check it out if you want to get a quote, and remember your broker doesn't have to live in the same town as you...you typically only talk to them on the phone, right? And if you are going direct to the insurance company, like I was with Progressive, definitely make the change to a broker...they really work for you and not dealing direct with the insurance company yourself is so nice. There are no fees from you to broker either, the insurance companies pay their fees. It's like having a personal shopper, but for insurance, saving you loads of time and aggravation. Bottom Line: Call Giles Insurance and ask for Tiffany, and tell her I sent ya...you will be happy you did! :)

Since then, Bryan and his team have been very helpful in educating us on bundling options with life insurance, and business insurance which we now have. We love that his offices are easy to get a hold of, and very personable. They are very educated, professional and always there to help in any way! We also run a small business, selling items at events as a vendor, and we are constantly asked to update our business insurance to add certain coverages and locations. A quick email or call, and Bryan or his team handle it right away. I've truly never experienced such exceptional service from an insurance company. When my husband and I first…read moregot married I talked to him about the insurance and how we could probably get insurance a lot cheaper somewhere else as, we have MULTIPLE vehicles insured through Wayne Miller and Farmers. He told me that he's been with Wayne for 30 years and he and Farmers have ALWAYS done him right. Well, a few years later I found out how true that was! My husband and I got into an accident caused by an uninsured, unlicensed, impaired driver that nearly totalled our truck. I honestly could not believe how quickly our truck was repaired and the claim settled. I didn't know that ANY insurance companies worked that fast and WITHOUT headaches! Not only is Farmers AMAZING but, so are Wayne and his receptionist Paula. Instead of mailing in our payment to Farmers every month, we walk it in just to say hello to Wayne and Paula. Even during the CARR fire when their phones were ringing off the hook, they had a big smile, hello and, "how's your day going? ". I probably would have been cracking and definitely not smiling under that much stress! Lol So, if you ask me if it's worth it to pay a little more for your insurance, I'd say, ABSOLUTELY!!! If you ask me which Farmers insurance company you should sign up with, I'd definitely say, Miller Insurance on Churn Creek! By far the BEST insurance company, agent and worth EVERY penny!!!
