So I stopped to get my daughter an ice cream for her birthday. One scoop in a cake cone $5, ok a bit pricey but not a big deal, but they could not take tap or break a $50. Luckily, I had my cash app card. The ice cream was melting so bad I asked for a cup and spoon, and the lady asked for 10 cent, she knew I only had my cash app card that Im not running for 10cent. I assume she would have just given us a cup since we bought an ice cream. Kinda disappointed in the price for quality and service, probably won't be coming back, it's just not worth it, I can get her a $2 ice cream that you charge $5 for, somewhere else and I'm sure they won't mind giving us a 10 cent cup either. read more

I ordered a large chocolate milk shake today around 7:00 through the drive thru NICELY I got my milkshake it was very watery and didn't taste like a milkshake at all... had my boyfriend try to get another one and they said they weren't gonna give him a refund or another remake... I literally just wanted it remade .. he even brought the milkshake back to them so I can get it remade..got upset and got out the car and tried to explain that my milkshake didn't taste right.. they didn't care and had a nasty attitude and decided to not give me a remake or a refund which I was fine with either .. came in a very good mood and left in a bad one both the man and women were very UNPROFFESSIONAL and shouldn't be working there if that's how they do customer service. read more

There are definitely not enough people working in this shop. They are busy and really good at ignoring customers. I waited almost 10 minutes just to get acknowledged. The ice cream is too soft and melts instantly. If I went back I would get a milkshake. Also getting your order right is like pulling teeth!! read more

I love the strawberry shortcake and my family and I visit Brewsters weekly on the northside of town. Today however we stopped by the macon rd location,not only were they extremely slow but the strawberry shortcake was horrible. I added pecans and they were salty and tasted old. I waited for 20 minutes in the drive thru to get to the speaker. No one was at the window outside ordering. When I finally got to the speaker, no one ever said anything so I drove to the window. The lady told me that I could not place my order at the window. She told me to circle back around, get back in line, and then place my order through the speaker. I only wanted one ice cream cone! Not gonna bash on this establishment due to it being my first time, but my family's first experience here was not of the 5 Star Review the other critics have made it to be. The good: clean restroom, very hospitable employees, price was fair or either really cheap, and it's location of convenience. The bad: not a single adult was working, all teenagers or at least frm what I was able to identify the oldest was a senior in HS, ice cream was already half melted by the time I received them, employees were more worried abt hanging out with their friends who came to visit then actually working, and the quality and portion was tiny (hence the reason of its price frm my guess). Gave it a 1x star for its bad, gave it 1x stars for its good. Hopefully, my next experience will be better and my ice cream not melting and becoming a puddle of mush in my cup (my reason for choosing a cup instead of the usual cone or waffle). read more

I had to yell back there to get someone to service me. Then I ordered the 6-pack Oreo tray. They didn't have any and told me it should be around the same price as the tray which was $9.99. I got my receipt back and it was twice as much. Then she told me they were 2 something each. Okay cool, whatever, but I get back home and they were made very sloppy. I've had the brownie sundaes and they are great (usually replaced the vanilla with chocolate ice cream since I'm not really a vanilla fan). I really wanted a milkshake so I decided to go here since last time I had a good experience. The lady was nice, but I'm confused about how you make your milkshakes. I asked for a chocolate milkshake assuming that it would be made with chocolate ice cream. When I tasted it I was disappointed, it literally tasted like vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup...I even opened the lid to look at it because when I looked through the top of the lid it looked a lot lighter than I was expecting or what I've had before when I've gotten actually chocolate shakes made with chocolate ice cream..I had my boyfriend taste it and he agreed ... next time I will make sure I request chocolate for the ice cream because this literally reminded me of just cold diluted milk and chocolate syrup :(....the color in the picture looks a little darker than it actually was, it was literally the same color as the vanilla and hot fudge when mixed together in my boyfriends sundae. read more

Ice cream made daily? That's what I'm talking about! This location never fails to deliver. I have purchased cakes as well and they are beautifully done and delicious. The downside is the location since it is in a shopping center right by 185. However, the drive thru feature makes it very convenient. The ice cream is worth it though. Filled out a survey to let them know, nothing heard. Go to this location often but this time saw an employee handling my daughters ice cream sandwich with her bare hands putting in a bag. Asked the employee if the sandwiches were individually wrapped, she held the bad to show me, I queried her again and she answered no. So I asked her if she had been wearing gloves, she answered yes, told her to think again because I watched her put it into the bag, sans gloves, and asked her for another one. Saw her this time grab a glove and walked back to disappear behind the wall for a delay that seemed to long. She brought out the package of sandwiches and this time I witnessed her use the glove. She refused to finish our order by coming back to the window but a co-worker came and said everything was good and checked us out. We come often and will continue until we see our employee of the month, then we will drive on. Very bad customer service. Ordered a milkshake using a gift card. The gift card evidently had been eaten up by fees from Bruster's. Also got charged extra than was listed on the menu. When I asked the waiter why there was not money on the card, he said because it has already been used. The Brusters in LaGrange closed, have not been to one since then. He had a really smart attitude, I told him never mind to just forget it and he said okay, bye. I did not get my money or my milkshake. So I guess they are thieves also. I do not recommend this location at all. I will definitely NOT return. read more
