I'm writing about my Nov-2011 visit. I can't speak for her medical expertise since I haven't seen…read moreher in years but her new office is a JOKE. I sat in the waiting room for 2 HOURS. When I got up to inquire if I'd be seen next (this was after waiting an hour and a half) the receptionist acted as if I was bother her and how dare I even ask such a question. The staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. When I finally was seen by the nurse, I was with her for about 15 minutes, and I'm being generous on the time. She sent me for blood work and told me I didn't need another appointment and once they got the blood results they'd call me if necessary. Well, after waiting days, I still hadn't received a call. After my THIRD attempt to call and speak to someone (oh, and this was after I called and was placed on hold for over 15 minutes; finally I hung up and just called back since they probably forgot about me) I was told all my results were fine but to schedule another appontment for in a month. When I asked why since that isn't what the nurse said the receptionist quickly changed the tone in her voice and let the attitude come out... Needless to say, I'm now seeing a new PCP and just went for new blood work since the previous requested work wasn't thorough and most likely IS an illness while this office was so quick to say everything was fine.

However, there is a woman at the front desk by the name of Amy, who is extremely rude, and unhelpful. I have spoken to her twice, she is argumentative, would not let me finish speaking, and started her sentence with "no, no" and tried to give me misinformation. I was returning a call to Dr. Gentes' nurse, and Amy told me that I could not leave a voicemail, which I had done about a month previously. She did not give my message to the nurse, who called me, and was very upset that she never received the message, it not only has caused a significant amount of wasted time, but has also compromised my care.

I met with Dr. Shaeffer to begin my journey toward conceiving my baby, and the support I received…read morewas truly amazing. From the very beginning, I felt completely confident in my decision. I visited both the Westport and Milford locations, and at each office, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Throughout my pregnancy, I saw Dr. Khan, Dr. Proulx, and Dr. Murray. They are exceptional physicians -- you truly couldn't ask for better professionals. They made me feel fully supported every step of the way. The delivery of my daughter was a wonderful experience, and what meant even more was that they came to visit me afterward to check on both me and my baby. That level of care meant so much to me. A year later, I returned for my annual exam and saw Dr. Proulx again. I was so impressed by how well she understood what I was going through and how thoroughly she answered all of my questions. I wholeheartedly recommend SCWHCA!

Hi there, This is a complaint against the staff. I got a…read moremissed call from the office so I called back. I waited forever on hold and they hung up on me. However I called back and they said that they were going to call a mediation to my pharmacy. I go the pharmacy and nothing was called so naturally I called them back. Some rude assistant picked up trying to rush me off the phone and she said they never called the prescription because the dr wanted to talk to me. I said I wished you called to let me know. She got so rude on the phone and saying she doesn't have time for that and that they are short staffed. I said please do be snippy with me, and as I was speaking to make an appointment she hung up. So I called back, I don't know who picked up (most likely the same person) I said why did I get hang up on, and she hung up again for the third time. Someone called me from the office and without asking me what happened stating that I am being rude to the staff. I laughed because at this point it was funny. I explained myself again, and made an appointment that I cancelled right away .this was just for a physical appointment , what if I was sick and they act like that again and again ....I was going to ask to be a concierge patient, but they don't need my money I guess. Do not recommend them at all very very, very rude people no social skills whatsoever shame or Dr, Saunders employing people like that..

I have been a patient of Dr. Saunders for over 15 years. Both he and his staff are very courteous,…read morecaring and professional people. He has helped guide me and direct me through dealing with some serious medical issues requiring specialized physicians and surgeons including sepsis and cancer. He and his staff have always been very responsive and understanding with terrific "Bedside Manner". I took advantage of and enrolled in a Concierge Physicians program to which he belongs. The service offers several benefits. One of the most important benefits for me is virtually instant accessibility to him and/or his staff 24/7. I would recommend Dr. Saunders as a very competent practitioner of Internal Medicine as well as a down to earth General Practitioner or Primary Care Physician.

Let me cut right to it. My family and I have been going to Dr. Kim (Milford walk in) for over 20…read moreyears. Overall she is a very nice person and doctor. However the office and the employees are another story. Most are interns that come and go. Let me say that the relationship you think you have with your physician can quickly be ruined especially when you have an issue or question. This happened to me today. I simply called and spoke to Wendy about a couple of office visits. Some of these visits were less then 3min. I perfectly understand insurance but requested to speak with Dr. Kim on a issue. When that happens it turns into money not the relationship. Wendy quickly got back on the phone and stated she spoke to Dr. Kim and she said unfortunately she cannot do anything. All I wanted was a quick chat. In conclusion look for at least a more up to date, private, professional office. I never really felt any of these factors until I was treated like a number today and not a 20+ year patient. I will never return to this office.

She is an excellent diagnostician. She treats clients as she…read morewould treat her own family members. She is very thorough. I would rather see a clinician like her as opposed to other practices where-you see a different person every time. They can be polite and organized but not provide adequate care. Example-doctor I've never seen before does not bother to look up my lab results-asks me how the labs were-did not even look at them.(I am a retired nurse).

She's really great. She was my grandmother's PCP for many years. I could never switch to her…read morebecause my insurance wasn't accepted. Now that I have switched (new ins.), she not only remembers my family, I feel as though, I'm treated like family. She takes her time. She is thorough and careful. She explains things. I've only been seeing her for a bout a year now but I've been a few times already as I got the flu and I needed a physical. I'm also diabetic and while I see an endocrinologist regularly for that, she was very attentive to my diabetes and wants to stay updated on my endocrine appointments. As for my grandmother, when my grandma passed, it was Dr. Nwangwu's who listened to her symptoms and really investigated. She was able to help find the cause of her pain shortly before her passing. It was unexpected and the answers came as a result of the thorough labwork Nwangwu had ordered. I've never had to wait longer than 15 minutes (I've visited the office probably 6 or 7 times this year) and when I had trouble initially and misunderstanding with my insurance claim, I questioned my bills and they reviewed each claim with me. I was even offered a discount on my portion since I'd felt there had been some misunderstanding regarding my insurance/initial visit. She's great.
