When I saw Dr Irving soon after the surgery, he took x-rays and said everything was fine and didn't need to see me for follow up. He sent me to pain medicine doctor in New Haven who did nothing. My pain increased recently and x-rays revealed a heterotopic ossification which is a complication due to that surgery. Now have an appointment to see an orthopedist at the Hospital for Special Surgery.

TheXray Tech Katie made that experience, pain free and was cognizant of my limitations. Dr Elenaggar was outstanding, listened to my concerns, addressed the issues with compassion , professionalism and a sense of humor. Her administration of the much needed cortisone shot was expertly done!!!! The facility was clean , modern and confortable . This was my second visit in a 5 yr span and my choice for ortho needs.

We arrived at 4:30, and were told "we have to wait for a fax" for insurance approval. My wife suggested she pay out of pocket and could be reimbursed after insurance was approved. Instead we waited 30 minutes to be told to go to the Shelton location because they were closing. Reading the other reviews, patient service has continued to be an issue for many years. We came here out of convenience and desperation. Save yourself the hassle and skip this Milford location with zero empathy or care for their (potential) patients.

Overall bad experience. I was referred here by my primary doctor. The lady at the front desk was…read morerude and short with me. Then after I filled out all my paperwork I waited about 10 minutes before I heard my name being called from the other room. As I get up to walk in the room, there is a patient exiting that same room. The room was never cleaned between patients and the doctor was asking me to sit on the long bench which had clear fluids on it from the previous patient. Disgusting. He sat down, crossed his legs and asked me what happened. I explained about my back injury which was diagnosed two days earlier as a compression fracture. I brought my X-rays with me in which he only gave a short glance (2 sec glance on each X-ray). He then looks at me and says Aleve and rest. My backs been in horrible pain since the accident-not the slightest bit better. But the doctor didn't listen to a word that came out of my mouth. He never even examined me. He sat back in his chair the entire time. And made me feel like I was making it up. I do not recommend this doctor nor do I understand how he has a medical license.

There is options between nothing and cut me open and Dr Blum does not understand that. I was stuck seeing him because he is the only orthopedic doctor at the discount clinic. The only reason why I gave them 3 stars is because it was so cold in the room they were doing the MRI. The machine was set up in a trailer outside of the facility and it was a cold January evening. It would have been nice to have some heat or a blanket. They were professional and got me in and out but a little bit of warmth would have been nice.
