Both times I have been here I have been treated very professionally. The check in process is quick and efficient. The physical therapist who has been assigned to me is excellent. Matt take the time to listen and explain what is going on. My shoulder has improved since I have been taking therapy. He has stretched and massaged my shoulder and it feels better. In addition he has shown me a series of exercises and stretches which work my shoulder at different angles. I look forward to my next appointment.

Enforcing privacy rules is fine, but treating patients like cattle is unacceptable. If Kelly hates customer service this much, she shouldn't be the face of the clinic.

I called about 2 weeks before I was to start and the receptionist complained to me that my doctor should have told me to call sooner as they had no openings. We agreed that I could go for my initial evaluation and consult to their Hamden facility (near the tunnel on the Merritt Parkway), and then I could do my follow up appointments in Milford. I completed online all my paper work, scheduled the initial assessment and then heard nothing. When I called them for my Milford appointments, they told me they did not have any and I would need to continue with Hamden. This is a trek from Milford and I was 2 weeks post op and unable to drive yet. Luckily, I was able to find another practice in Milford that was able to see me when I needed to begin. Not impressed.

They gave terrible expectations for when they'd be ready and then got upset when I'd check in after their proposed finish date. They then lied to me about how I couldn't pick them up due to a supposed insurance issue, then proceed to tell me 2 hours later that I can pick them up and that they'll make an exception. When I get there they cancelled the doctor appt without my say. The doctor shows up and has an attitude when I ask a question about the orthotics because i "didn't have an appt". Well it was cancelled on me! Awful awful awful! NEVER go here

They were extremely inconsiderate toward my mother--who is 92 years old and in poor health who arrived on time for her scheduled appointment with the podiatrist, Dr Yu. The staff member, G Yu was very insensitive toward my mom. I tried to explain to G Yu that my mother had an open wound on her back and was in pain; despite having arrived punctually for her scheduled appointment, she was left waiting for over an hour and was the last patient to be seen. I was attempting to kindly intercede on behalf of my mother, who suffers from dementia and cannot speak for herself. G Yu completely disregarded my concerns and in retaliation she told me not to bring my mother back again. G. Yu appears to be the person in charge of the facility--the one who initiated the despicable act of patient abandonment--since the doctor simply complied when she asked him to discharge my mother and hand over her discharge papers. They are clearly in violation of ACA and HIPAA. I would like to remind this family medicine practice that they are not in China. We are in the United States of America, and people here have the right to be treated with respect and fairly. They advertise this website that does not exist: www.advancedmedicalfootcare.org. My husband has worked with Andrew Sullivan of Zielinski and Associates with the same great results. In addition the front office staff is friendly and competent. They work with you to schedule appointments, send reminders and help with all the required insurance paperwork.
