I explained the issue and he was fairly dismissive. He made rude (bordering weird) assumptions about the OTC treatment I was using simply because I could not remember the name. He took a lab sample and seemed disinterested in talking about other pain I was having. It took several weeks to hear back about the results. When the office called they told me results were normal with no other insight. I was still having an issue I needed resolved and had to press them to make a 2nd appointment. This second appointment was actually a much better experience. The doctor explained the issue a bit better, we discussed footwear and other items. He also ordered another lab sample. The 2nd results did not come up normal and I have my suspicions as to why. I was advised that before they sent the prescription they needed to order bloodwork to ensure my liver was functioning properly. This was a very normal request. I completed the bloodwork and the results were received. When I called today to see if the results were normal so I could get the prescription I was confronted by a very rude individual working at the office who stated "I told you there would need an appointment to review these results". I do not recall this at all because I would have pushed back. This would be a third appointment for a prescription they already determined through 2 other appointments I needed. I did not need to review the results I just needed the doctor to note that my liver was functioning and then complete the job from the last appointment of sending the prescription. The people in this office are rude and months passed with my feet deteriorating with no treatment or solution. I am not someone that complains frequently and I have never had this kind of issue with a Yale doctor. It was very upsetting. My PCP was thankfully able to look at all the results and send over the medicine I needed. This doctor is clearly no longer looking to be working and should retire. There are MANY doctors in his area and I would choose anyone but him.

When I went online to schedule through their online portal, I confirmed that I had scheduled an appointment. Took a half day off from work drove 25 minutes to their office, satisfied that I had an appointment and I was looking forward to discussing options and what had gone wrong and to ultimately relieve the pain I had been suffering. Not only was I greeted by a rude receptionist who took her sweet time responding to me, she claims she had no record of my confirmed appointment, and told me they would not be seeing me that day. I asked when I could schedule another appointment, squelching my anger and disappointment. She said oh not for a few months we are all booked up. When I divorced them in their services and found a new podiatrist and orthopedist within two days. I had a new appointment with a physician who took x-rays and analyze that the implant that I had been given, had not settled properly was not done correctly, and was the cause of my ongoing pain. I would not ever recommend Yale podiatry group. And I'm saddened at the fact that they carry the Yale name and tarnish it so as if wielding Yale in front of a podiatry group name would bring them business piggybacking off of Yale New Haven Hospital. Rude, reprehensible, incompetent at the top of my list of adjectives. Do not go to this office.

I show up for the appointment and was told it did not book and was turned away. It's time for a physician's office that returns phone calls and is communicative and attentive to my needs.
